I’m here in the beginning of 2021. I can’t believe how old this is. I remember when the song first came out, it actually kind of annoyed me a little bit but it grew on me. The video I think really helped elevate my feelings for the dong when I saw essentially the history of dance come to life. And it still holds up really well.
Safe and Sound is one of my favorite music videos of all time! I watch it regularly and it never gets old. You have somehow managed to seamlessly mash up footage of dancing 100 years old with so many styles of dance from so many eras! I seriously hope you won an award for this video, because it's absolutely BRILLIANT!
Agreed. I love how they show old dances and use old B&W shots and mix it with this. Editing has done so well and nice effects. Often when you add effects at editing, it leads to a video which just effect show off. This isn't like that, not even close! The editing fits nicely with the idea and song. I'm a pro videographer and photographer (editing included, photo and video) and I'm so drooling at those editing ideas....Soooo amazing! ...but I think I'll sign up for a dance course first :3

To me, the song is kind of like remembering all the old, but yet great music. When they jump off the stage and join the rest of the old famous music composers, they are trying to say that THEY will be in music history too.
They encourage everyone to see the dancing side of them and makes everyone want to get up and dance and it also show to see a completely new you and ur new sence of style this song always make smile and want to cry this song bring back good memories not bad memories

It's a beautiful song, that gives a person hope to overcome all the problems in our world, and when I hear it, I think of how live could be if there was world peace, and we could all dance together as the human race, regardless of our differences, and just enjoy the beauty of being alive!
