Hey kSO u gotta check out (Reeps One beatbox TV interview) the videos 12 years ago -- he literally started the whole swissbeatbox movement he got me in to beatboxing
D Low is the GOAT to me. His style is just so complete. He has tons of different sounds, his sounds are very clean, he has a nice singing voice, his timing is incredible, and he's a beast on the stage in battles. He did a fucking backflip on stage during a battle lol.
Also I must repeat! Loop… Station… Battles… SARO!!! They use loop machines to create beats with their voice then rap and sing over their own beats within seconds create a master piece. Will blow your mind.
Yessssssssss, 👍 D-Low is a legend on the beatbox scene and a monster in the battles, You’ll have seen him as a judge in this years GBB you already been catching. Also got to agree - the MC Scott Jackson is an absolute legend 🙌🙌🙌 I’d commend to watch some of the battles to get some context of some of his routines, battles and reply’s. Makes it so much more enjoyable. Although not live events,I’d suggest to watch the SBX kickback battles from 2020, stating with that seeding rounds and then each battle to see not only D-Low, but also a lot of other artists and some great battles, 👍 Keep it up big man… Congrats and on the way to 40K! LETS GO, 👊
This is has to be the most humane & genuine reaction that I've ever seen on a beatbox video. It's an effin pleasure to watch you, you committed so hard on that haha and as you explained it, it's about simple things, enjoying things that are precious, that make our lives more beautiful, more vibrant. And it's very nice to see someone digesting that kind of stuff. Try to understand the whole process behind each sound, each song, and still appreciating what is delivered at the end. Beatbox is a new adventure for sure, that modern era has provided so many specific techniques & sounds, enjoy ma dude. Btw, my two favorite beatboxers atm are D-Low without a doubt & Helium, but they are so many as insane beatboxers. And, as other ppl recommanded to you, take a look at some loopstation battles, it's an endless field of creativity.
Bro, you reactions and appreciation of the content make me so turnt! I discovered you when you started doing H Mack reactions, and you became my favorite reactor fast, and now seeing you also reacting to my fav beatboxer is just golden. I used to watch many reactors, but now I only come to you for reaction content. Thanks, bro. You're one of the real ones..
11:10 actually he started with his beatboxing from 2013. He also said he would do this :"I started beatboxing in 2006 and i was pretty bad until 2013. So i'll start from there". And you can see the year on the big monitor but at some point the years aren't correct
D-low is my personal favorite. Intertia is also one of my favs. D-low while being one of if not the most versatile is just just genuinely awesome as a person. Super nice, super supportive of others. Dude just glows all around. Also on the discussion of old school beatboxing vs new, it's kinda like this ruclips.net/video/qnneR1Q9uK4/видео.html
DLow and Napom are God teir. Dlow got that composure and structure whereas Napom hit you with shit you weren't expecting like on a freestyle trip. Only people fucking with them is each other. GOD TEIR beatboxers
Omg! If it's remakes you like, I have THE VIDEO for you. Berywam Asian Beatbox Championship Showcase. It's full of classic hip hop remakes. I know everyone says this, but I'm telling you it is a must see. To answer your question, D-Low is my absolute favorite beatboxer of all time.
1. favourite beatboxer: Reeps One, nobody topped him since I've seen his first video, dude does club-sets and is an OG in the community (would love for you to check out his GBBB21 showcase or Live in Tokyo) 2. D-low vs Inertia would be like your favourite R&B artist vs your favourite Rapper, both are beasts in their field (p.s. Inertia - High middle low, the original video is a must see if you like Inertia) love your content bro, and big up to Jamal
Kso I know it’s a bit of a long shot but I see you like the bass as well. There’s a sub-genre of EDM that originated in the U.K called drum n bass (dnb) and they often have mcs spit over really fast beats 180bpm. Anyway it would be cool to see you react to some so here’s some suggestions. Bru-c - inhaler Stormin - ADHD freestyle P money x whiney - buss the road Illegal underground drum and bass rave featuring Harry shotta. This is a good one to showcase how London is the best city in the world (it’s a rave on an underground train)
Yes sbx kickback battle compilation is a must..he does an hour chill stream almost every Saturday around 1ish est. It's always dope. He also happens to be the nicest dude you'll ever meet too! Unless you steal his content that is lol then its a spinkick to the jaw
There’s different GOATs from each generation of beatboxers so there isn’t really a definitive answer. (The rest is entirely subjective) The prior generations GOAT was Reeps One. The current generation, I would say is D-Low. He hasn’t lost a battle since his loss to codfish in the 2018 finals. He is currently in a battle hiatus and is primarily judging comps because of his dominant battle ability. The upcoming generation is sicckkkk though. Like, same as kids everywhere nowadays. Having the ability to lookup tutorial videos and other resources for beatboxing has really upped the bar. There’s 13-14 year olds doing ridiculously technical routines so I can imagine once they grow up and their vocals become fully developed, they will do some crazy things.
he started doing his beats from the year 2013, cuz he was "pretty bad" between 2006-2003, the first beat was from 2013 when he was "good enough" in his own eyes. I guess we'll never really know what he sounded like in 2006.
D-Low, Napom, Zekka, Dilip and Inertia are some of my favourite beat boxers at the moment. Who is the goat? Right now probably D-Low, but there are some amazing artists around now, more than ever before, and there have been some amazing artists in the past that have pushed the boundaries and set the standards for modern day performers to surpass. The evolution over the last few years has been unbelievable. You should check out some older GBB tournaments to see other performers and see the progression. Like you always say - pay homage to the standard bearers. The dude you keep seeing is BBK, a Canadian beat boxer, “The President” and a staple at all events. Buzzing your enjoying beatboxing, appreciating the artists and learning all about the scene 👍 If you REALLY want to blow your mind at some true artistry and creativity you HAVE TO watch and react to some beatbox loopstation. Check out artists such as Saro, So-So, Thorson, MB14, Balance, Frosty and NME, I really don’t think you will quite believe your ears 👊
Is it just me, or does this room look just like Scru Face Jean's old room.... I might be tripping, but I SWEAR its like deja vu. On top that this dude is articulate and very entertaining in front of the camera like scru. Im doing double takes lmao. Either way, great reactions my dude. one love.
Favorite beatboxer is 100% Show-Go, and I’d probably say I like D-Low more. It’s a tough comparison because I’ve heard so less from Inertia that he still has my interest/I’m so much more impressed by Inertia… that being said, D-Low is definitely more technically sound, and has also spent much more time perfecting his craft.
The best to me is Dlow i once seen a video where he is chilling jamming with some lessers haha and he makes a new snare up thats mind blowing cause why not hes the best and passes it off as nothing even tho thats impossible pretty much
Try stormzy if you want a suggestion. He is up there with Dave. Also the other Akala fire in the booths. 2 and 4 are better than 1. Anyway you’ve got a new subscriber. Love your energy.
Hey, good to see you doing another one! Answer to first question (favorite beatboxer) - Elisii or Azel Answer to second question (D-Low or Inertia) - D-Low. Answer to third question (greatest beatboxer, personal opinion) - Reeps One Edit: There were some issues syncing the video and audio. Any chance of that getting fixed on future occasions?
In the modern beatbox scene, my favorite tends to fluctuate based on what they're doing/learning at the time and whether or not they continue to grow. D-Low is definitely up there (he seems to work harder and live beatbox more than most). However, at the moment, I'm ALL about some Wing. I think you would go bonkers over "Dancing With a Stranger," as well as his tag team wildcard (he's in a duo called Jackpot). In terms of question 2, D-Low 1000%. Inertia is dope, but I would like to see him branch out a bit.

D-low is also a battle monster, you should definitely watch his battles in 2019 GBB, or SBX kickback.

My favourite beatboxer is D-low, i guess for me its real GOAT of the beatbox. I think there is no man alive, who can beat him right now

2019 is actually the year he won GBB. That's why he sounded so good! He also placed 2nd in 2018.
Dlowwwww is the goat and my personal favorite but king inertia has always been a unique and fire artist
D-low hands down is the GOAT for me. Please do more of his content. SBX kickback for sure!
I swear this reaction channel spits the most facts out of a lot of other channels
D-low actually raps in his new track Sun Parades. If you haven’t reacted to it, I definitely recommend it! Shits sick.
1. favourite beatboxer: Reeps One, nobody topped him since I've seen his first video, dude does club-sets and is an OG in the community

he started doing his beats from the year 2013, cuz he was "pretty bad" between 2006-2003, the first beat was from 2013 when he was "good enough" in his own eyes. I guess we'll never really know what he sounded like in 2006.

React to the Wildcards for GBB 2020 and GBB 2021. Seeing so many different beatboxers show their varying skills is so good
One unlikely inspiration for modern beatboxing must have been Michael Winslow of Police Academy-fame
That's where they trick you when people say "grow up"... you don't have to grow up.. you just have to be more responsible!
the thing is dlow did this showcase whilst being sick!
Bro, @Chezame at 42:45 is gonna get his face stuck like that. lmao.
Great reaction Kso!
As far as I heard he also did this while somewhat sick, which makes it twice as sick!
