BULBULIK ||KHIKWOR||VAKHAN||PAMIR

"BULBULIK" - is a traditional song of the Pamir people. Only women sing it, with the help of bulbulik, mothers and women free their souls from suffering, pain and longing for those who have lost and distant loved ones. Especially when one of the Pamir people dies, then all the neighbors and close women gather in the house and sing "BULBULIK", in order to calm the soul of the deceased person. It is also sung at the height of the mountain and the field, which will help women to comfort their heartache and suffering. This is similar to one of the types of meditation. Today Aunt Toginiso from the village of Langar sings to us a Bulbulik called "BULBUL TAR NOLM".
