Unboxing: Field Company No. 8 & No. 10 1st Castings

Quick unboxing of the First Castings Field Company No. 8 & 10 skillets. These were originally made in 2016 & 2017 and are not available anymore for purchase. Field Company had a very limited re-release of these skillets the first week of March 2024.

I'm still sad I missed out on the Lancaster 2nd's sale lol. I did get a Victoria Signature Series for my birthday last month so I'm happy. Those Field skillets do look ready for cooking.

I got the #10 1st casting and would have gotten the #8 also if I didn't already have one. The #8 has replaced all other skillets in my kitchen and is the best looking pan I've ever seen

Considering buying an 8 and a 10. Is there a considerable size difference or are they almost the same pan?

Does the Field 8 and 10 have a considerably size difference? Is it worth having both?

@@JoseGomez-vr6mj The size difference is not huge. The no. 8 is about 10 inches across while the no. 10 is around 11 inches. But you do get a bigger cook surface with the no. 10. I'd look for the sales if you wanted both.

I only have 1 of the first castings for both sizes. I do have 2 of the kickstarter No. 8 with the wheat stocks near the Field Company logo. Those were gifts from my brother though.
