      I love the 757 way more than the A321. Performance wise too, it can get up to cruise so much faster and higher as well, while the 321 is stuck at lower alts for the majority of its flight

    19:43 why doesn’t American and United flights say where their flight crew is based after the plane lands??

    • @sla31
      @sla31  8 месяцев назад

      They do sometimes. I think it's really more of a crew specific thing. I was on a United flight yesterday where they said where the crew was based.

    WOWOWOWOW!!! Good view of Big Bear Lake. That's where the mountain cabin is in The Bold and The Beautiful. Very good view of Mt. San Antonio. Great view of the CBD of LA.
    Well, jeez. My GF has to work extra hours and days the next few weeks to make up for being short-changed in her jury duty pay. And why again do they want people to serve on juries???
    And... we're way under budget in terms of rainfall here in Western WA. We're only at 2/3 of where we should be. So far, by a sheer miracle of God, we've been spared from all of the wildfire smoke this summer. But there's still August and September, so we'll see. Our front lawn is so dry that I fear that it'll spontaneously combust right before my eyes at any moment - poof!
    Anyhow, another fine video from your. I'll rest of from the jet lag and use the time to watch Event Horizon. Pray you're never aboard that ship!

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад +1

      That's really the pits they short change her and she then has to make up for it by working extra. For doing her civic duty haha. What a mess!
      As for your lawn, I'm quite surprised my lawn is still green here. It doesn't usually matter how wet or dry it's been, by this time of year everything is usually brown and dried up. I'm still having to mow every week!

    • @scottbridge9391
      @scottbridge9391 Год назад

      @@sla31 Yes, that is the pits indeed. I was lucky last winter in that my group number was never called so I never had to report to the courthouse, so I didn't have to worry about having to deal with the jury pay nonsense.
      The case that my GF had to do the jury selection for may still be going on. Cases like rape of a minor and with one of the parties being transgender could last for weeks. if the victim was transgender, then it could be a hate crime on too of SA of a hid and that could REALLY drag out.
      Imagine having to be sequestered for a case where they lock you up in a hotel room during your off hours, no TV, no internet, no smartphone - with cops standing outside your hotel room to make sure you do't go anywhere.
      No thank you!!
      I pray that you never get called for jury duty. But... if you ever do, I'm sure your viewers will understand if you don't post any videos for a few days.

    Hi dude why can't you do the left window from the plane it's nothing on the right

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад +1

      Well, I do sit on both sides of planes. Here's the problem though. I cannot sit on the hard light side. I.e., the side looking directly on at the sun. Filming in 4K generates a lot of heat from the camera as is devours power to keep operating. And airplanes effectively have double paned windows to help insulate the cabin from the extreme cold temperatures outside. So, if I sit on the side looking at the sun, that double paned window becomes an incredibly hot place to sit. The camera, being in the window then overheats in less than 10 minutes. It gets so hot that you can burn you hand if you hold it against the window for too long. So, given that LA and the US are in the northern hemisphere, this means the sun tracks across the sky to the south. Since LA is on the west coast, that means that 95% of the flights coming into it from the rest of the country are to the east. Which means sitting on the left side of the plane when flying into LAX is almost impossible, because there are very few flights that would allow that without instantly cooking my camera.
