I'm hoping for more of the same on the album, something like American Idiot mixed with 21st Century would be good. Maybe a hint of the older stuff, but I think his voice has changed a bit too much for it. Green Day are a great band though, I'll probably buy whatever they release.
Hey, I double tracked my guitar part. One of the tracks is using a Shure Sm57 to mic up my Marshall Jcm900, gain is about halfway, EQ is pretty flat with slightly less mids. For the second track, I'm using line 6 pod farm with the metal plug in. Ibanez tube screamer into Diamond plate amp with a lot of gain, flat EQ, full presence. Then I just added some compression. At 2:05 I just cut out the pod farm track.
Indeed they are great quality guitars, altough i swapped in a Duncan JB in the bridge and a Slash pickup in the neck position, both zebra color. Now it really does rock! By the way your covers are great! Keep it up mate!
how do you read tabs? (sorry I'm just restarting guitar teaching myself, I used to play when I was like 7 and gave up a few years later , I'm now 14 and I forgot everything )
the number is the fret that you play. starting at the bottom being the e string goes up the strings. each numbers is the fret eg the 6th line on the guitar is the 6th fret.
So essentially the number is the fret and the strings are as if you are looking on your guitar from the top so the 6th most bassy string is on the bottom of the tab and the highest string is on the top of the tab, If you don't get it at first, look up a video on how to read tabs and don't give up.
the dankest channel Yeah if you compare this to the lyric video from the Offical green day channel, you'll see he has his amp settings and tuning similar to Billie, but his guitar is scratchier.
