"Welcome back, Link." *The forest girl stretches out her hand to the decomposed remains of a strong, one-eyed warrior, one who now laid on the tree bed, covered in moss that settled long ago.* "Let's go home."
This brought chills through my spine. When I finished the Forest Temple, and I found out I wouldn't be able to see Saria again, the first thing I did was become a child, go to the Forest Temple entrance, and just kinda... sit there, with a certain feeling in my gut. I wouldn't be able to articulate the feeling if I tried to. Even worse, I've never found a version of Lost Woods that encapsulated that feeling I felt all those years ago. This song did it. ... Thanks for making it.
It's the same for me. I spend so much time listening to Saria's Song in the game itself. Not just entering the Lost Woods, but actually going to Saria, to listen to her. nowadays friends tell me I'm obsessed with her.
+Hades Kiram Even worse the fact that in the Windwaker timeline everyone we knew and loved were either brutally murdered by the horde of monsters that attacked the entire land once Ganondorf returned or they drowned in the flood because they didn't make it to the castle in time.... Whoever says Wind Waker is childish never really played the game at all... hell the two dead sages we meet were children... it's fucked up man...
Hearing the song like this, it makes me think of the Hero's Shade, now ready to move on after teaching his Descendant all the moves that he knew , looking over and sees Saria, standing there next to him. She reaches out her hand and smiles, before she says "Come on, Link. Let's go home!" (Edited three years later, cause yikes was my grammar bad!)
even though i didn’t play this game, even though i don’t know what most of these comments are talking about, i still get a lot of feelings and almost tear up listening to this tune. this piano, this melody, the birds, everything.. i don’t know how to express what i feel but thank you to whoever made this ❤️
This nearly brings me to tears... playing this game when I was but a few years old was the best time of my whole life... and you made one of my favorite songs from it even more beautiful... please, make more beautiful music like this, my friend. you are magnificent!!!
I listened to this for the first time in the summer of 2016, I was such a happier person back then... I can't believe what memories were unlocked by coming back to this orchestral... Thank you so much for this even 6 years later.
the Legend of Zelda is full of amazing music. And this is one of the best Arrangements I've heard so far. It's so calming and beautiful, and shows Sarias gentle Side
OverlordDystroy it would be freaking AWSOME if they added another divine beast based on Saria. Divine beast vah Sarvoh. It would have like nature puzzles inside. I dont know what animal though
This song gives me chills and seriously Lost Woods is one of my favorite places in video games and every time I play Zelda Ocarina Of Time I feel that same feeling and I go back to be that child who spent hours playing that game I remember that once I even dreamed of that place few games have done that to me and well a great song
This music just says one thing and one thing only to me: That Saria will always love Link unconditionally forever. No matter what happens and that is reflected in the way she plays her ocarina. :) Excellent work +Xander Leonis :) Simply.....Beautiful :) ~AStuder
I love this. I have already listened to this many times and everytime I hear it, this song makes me cry, For Saria. This song in loneliness. And I don't know, that's why I love it.

This is like relaxing, meditation music! If only it were longer, I would definitely use it when I meditate! Absolutely beautiful, thank you so much for sharing :)
So so good! Both the idea and the execution are so well done. I really hope that I will reach this level of quality with my renditions in the future :-)
Hi Xander. This remix of Lost Woods "Saria's Theme" (The Legend of Zelda) is beautiful 💞. The remix has a bit of atmosphere into it and the orchestral instruments blends in it as well. Anyway, Love this Remix 👍.
In case you want to sing along 😜 No writing credit to me, it's from another video. Well if you think about it, its sort of with Saria, and that is supposed to be like meeting an old friend. Usually when you meet an old friend you think of calm things, telling each others of your life. This is basically the slow calm variation. Plus, he has a good start to making a great album like the Theophany guy who made the Majora's Mask variations.
I was very peacefully and happily listening to this beautiful version of the song... Until a drunkard outside started belting the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul's "Unravelled" over and over before throwing up.
This is great, just take out the "you accomplished something/solved the mystery" sound at the end. You want to end it with a feeling of ease, and that kind of takes it away.
Sing along, sing along, Sing it side by side! We all sing this song, To cheer the life! Sing along, sing along, Sing the magic score! We all love this song To cheer and explore! All the woods, all the grass, all the way, All the green, all the red, even gray, All the night, all the light, all the day, We explore together! Sing it along! Sing along, sing along, Sing it side by side! We all sing this song, To cheer the life! Sing along, sing along, Sing the magic score! We all love this song To cheer and explore! Look! There is the river that flows, There is the cold ice snows, There is the road that goes! We explore together! Sing it along! Sing along, sing along, Sing it side by side! We all sing this song, To cheer the life! Sing along, sing along, Sing the magic score! We all love this song To cheer and explore! There's a forest far, far away Those the legends of the kingdom says! You are running, but if you stay We can hear together Hear the sounds together You can hear it better So Sing it along! Sing along sing along, Let's sing the Song!

0:28 The first time Navi told me to listen and I actually listened.
"Welcome back, Link."
*The forest girl stretches out her hand to the decomposed remains of a strong, one-eyed warrior, one who now laid on the tree bed, covered in moss that settled long ago.*
"Let's go home."
😭
If only, if only
thats beautiful....
I cri 😭
Nearly made me cry. One thing Zelda games taught me is that even if life's tough: "Keep going." Finish it.
This brought chills through my spine. That was a beautiful
Same, I played that song she teaches you to communicate with her
Imagine being so obsessed with a virtual spirit girl that you literally go back in time to stay with them
Hearing the song like this, it makes me think of the Hero's Shade, now ready to move on after teaching his Descendant all the moves that he knew , looking over and sees Saria, standing there next to him. She reaches out her hand and smiles, before she says "Come on, Link. Let's go home!"

Ow my heart.
I walked down the aisle to this in the middle of a beautiful forest. Thank you for making such an ethereal and gorgeous version.
That's so amazing to hear, congratulations on your big day! I'm actually floored by this.

The one who disliked this was Skullkid.
LOL! I just played that part of the game yesterday!
Along with tatl and tael maybe?
Michael Marshall and some bosses
commander frostwolf
The views have practically doubled since I was last here! :D
RebeccaETripp No way! Skull Kid loves Saria, just like everyone else who lives in the forest.
I listened to this for the first time in the summer of 2016, I was such a happier person back then... I can't believe what memories were unlocked by coming back to this orchestral... Thank you so much for this even 6 years later.

when i hear this song the first thing that comes to mind is the Hero's shade remembering his childhood
Sarias song "Zelda Breath of the wild version"
So tru 😂👍🏾
Lmao, I'd love to hear this is BotW
OverlordDystroy it would be freaking AWSOME if they added another divine beast based on Saria. Divine beast vah Sarvoh. It would have like nature puzzles inside. I dont know what animal though

Wow.. Just WOW. I can't describe how I'm feeling, chills in every inch of my body

She loves Link, but in a friendly way
Without a doubt the most beautiful rendition of Saria's Song I have ever heard. Amazing work, Xander. :)
I love that magical floating atmosphere, beautiful work :)
You need more sub's man, this was a wonderful re-invention of what was already good to begin with.
This brought me tears. Absolutely stunning.
I’m watching this in 2018 but you know what it doesn’t change the way I feel about this. This is simply beautiful.
I love this. I have already listened to this many times and everytime I hear it, this song makes me cry, For Saria. This song in loneliness. And I don't know, that's why I love it.

This is so pretty.
Still the most majestic peace, 6 years later. Give us more!
This is such a peaceful rendition. It brings back great memories. Fantastic job! I've yet to find a remix of equal caliber for this song.
This is so beautiful composition...
This is such an awesome cover of Sarias Song, I wish it was longer because it's brilliant!
So beautiful. Bright and dark enough to be in Majora's Mask.
The single most beautiful thing in the universe.
I came up with an idea!
‘Sarias return’
Just imagine link and saria hugging and being friends again!
This makes me so happy
This makes me feel something I'm not sure even exists but it's good I think
This music is one of the most relaxing songs that i heard un my life
The tempo of the song seems to play on the battle of nature - how it can be chaotic at times and serene at others. Bravo. :)
this song tho... i cant get over how awesome it is!
Beautiful piece of artwork
This song makes my heart ache with nostalgia it’s a feeling I haven’t felt in a long time but one I will cherish forever

NICE pls make more Zelda songs thats awesome
BEST THING EVER!!!
Need an extended version of this!
So beautiful. =')
I can really imagine this as the soundtrack for an Ocarina of Time remake sort of Skyrim style... Like really massive open-world and stuff.
goodbye saria, im gonna miss you ;-;
I know it's not easy do this, but I DON'T ACCEPT it's only two and a half minutes! I want more of this :(
This is great, just take out the "you accomplished something/solved the mystery" sound at the end. You want to end it with a feeling of ease, and that kind of takes it away.

Is this song yours??
If so, why dont you do more like this?? It's awesome!!
Furthermore... how this song is played reminds me to 'Layers of Fear' main soundtrack :)
There are many times when I feel like Zelda and Link are long lost siblings, mostly due to the Ocarina of Time story.
holy sh**
search "rainy mood" when listening to this
enjoy
The 54 dislikes were the skullkids
This remix really makes you think doesn't it.
this belong in a movie that how good it is
I still think Saria is the most beautiful girl name ever.
Go run around the forest in real life while listening to this
7 years ago...
