This is the way review should be done..to the point...i have ambiente model..in bangalore roads its just fav...am getting around 10-11 in city..i guess its good considering bangalore traffic..if u take swift/baleno u will get 13-14 city mileage..guess highway mileage will be same..but in the build quality,suspension you hv to compromise..ford should try to penetrate tier 2 nd 3 cities to increase their sales..!!

Yes if u look at the saftey features it offers.. the suspension on bad roads is very good.. looks are subjective but swift looks more sporty and due to light swift is faster also in a drag race.. but u get more value for money in freestyle in my opinion.. and uts peppy too.. Engine wise swift has 4 cyllinder engine which is more silent compared to this..

in my opinion sensor is more useful compared to camera as camera cant help u in judging the gap.. yes u can install it as an after market acessory but i will advise to get it done frm showroom or ensure tht they dont void warranty for installing it from outside as it requires some electrical work..

Would not suggest freestyle if u want to take entire family as boot space is not big enough.. but thts for all the cars in this price segment..

fun to drive , safe and feature rich.. then Freestyle.. we have not seen Triber yet but news and report suggest its quite spacious sub 4 meter.. but engine is same 1Litre which comes in Kwid.. now if u want more space and more seating capacity and a people mover from point A to B then go For Triber.. it will not be as fun to drive as Freestyle
Brother, I have not seen both the cars in 2020, but both are same cars in different attire, you should decide based on where u want to drive mostly.. Freestyle is an allrounder because of its ground clerance, ARP and functional roof rails. So u can take it anywhere. Figo has less ground clerance so will give u plush ride in city and may be slighlty better mileage. if u go for long rides and roads are not very good always then opt for freestyle , still u compare the features and see what fits best in ur use case.
Service centre should be nearby.. else its bit of problem travelling 150 Km for every service .. its once in a year.. but still there will be situations where u might have to visit the service centre

on MID it was 10.8.. thts because owner never reset it since the date of purchase so it was telling overall milage of entire 1700 Km.. which involves lot of idling with aC on.. owner spends a lot of time idling.. however after we told him how to he is getting 14 inside city traffic and close to on highway 17 in MID..
difficult to answer as both are frm different categories.. i20 will look better and slightly bigger.. but u will get more bang for ur money in freestyle.. for same price u will get 6 air bags, tcs , active rollover protection, tcs .. top notch safety feature.. plus more powerful petrol engine

Safety wise Freestyle due to 6 Airbags and lot of other features like Active Rollover Protection, TCS, Hill Assist etc which are otherwise available in top version of Ecosport, comfort is also good in Freestyle if u have a small family and dont need to carry around lot of luggage.. wht u will miss in freestyle is rear leg and headspace compared to ecosport, boot space and tht feeling of having a big car although both are similar in length.. ecosports has more height... So if u have small family and rear passengers are not very tall then Freestyle is a wiser choice

Seems to be a good car. In Dubai Ford car pricing is on lesser side, buT Spairs are quite expensive. Repairs is expensive. Ford's policy is, sell for less & recovery in Spairs & Repairs.

no.. all manufacturers are preparing.. ABS, EBD,Airbags, seat belt warning etc are norms now... biggest challenge is emission norms.. for petrol cars it wont be difficult to meet those but for Diesel cars it will be difficult.. this confusion is one of the reason sales of automobiles are down

Cant promise for sure as we dont have one in friend circle yet. U can check our Ciaz 1.5 road test. Engine is same so mileage will be 1-3 kmpl less compared to ciaz to suv body type
both play the role.. centrifugal force is the main reason, however downforce is also imp.. as tht counters that and keeps the car in grip with road.. low downforce means rear tyre will loose grip and in case of high speed may get lifted easily

Combined forces of Centrifugal force on the car body and friction on tyres causes rollover. If we are discussing untripped rollover however there is no protection available for tripped rollover.
@@ravishbharti Sir all ur points are valid, may be the example i gave is not to the point, there are sevral factors to it, i was just trying to keep things simple.. but downforce is also very critical as tht applies vertical force on the tyres , and make them grip road better. this allows cars to go faster on the corners.. SUv or more GC means more air going beneath the car.. which increases uplift and reduces downforce and thts why you should not drive suv in triple digits speed as any sudden movement will cause it to loose control easily compared to a sedan or low gc car

Due to bad aerodynamic design the air might cause the car to lift even on a straight road, this is not RollOver. Anti-rollover protects the Car from toppling on the banking of track by reducing the speed(there by reducing the Centrifugal Force) automatically. Can you tell me how Anti-Rollover can protect from rollover if is caused by Air ?

I have watched a lot of videos on Ford Freestyle. How does one get rid of the speed governor on the 2020 version freestyle BS-VI. AT 80 Kmph it beeps once and a warning light comes in the fuel gauge, then at 100 there is another beep and at 120 Kmph the beep is continuous which is very irritating. I checked the internet and the manual and there seems to be no solution, even the folks at Team-BHP are complaining about it. And why none of the Ford Freestyle reviewers talk about this irritating aspect

nahi bhai both are ok.. Freestyle has more ground clearance.. if the roads in ur area are bad then rethink to switch to Freestyle.. else keep Figo

Which is better choice between freestyle titanium+ and ecosport trend. Prefer- safety and comfort.
Safety wise Freestyle due to 6 Airbags and lot of other features like Active Rollover Protection, TCS, Hill Assist etc which are otherwise available in top version of Ecosport, comfort is also good in Freestyle if u have a small family and dont need to carry around lot of luggage..
wht u will miss in freestyle is rear leg and headspace compared to ecosport, boot space and tht feeling of having a big car although both are similar in length.. ecosports has more height...
So if u have small family and rear passengers are not very tall then Freestyle is a wiser choice

mileage : my friends freestyle petrol is giving him 13-14 with AC in city with light traffic..
Polo GT TSI will be less may be 12..
but if its bumper bumper traffic then both will be close to 10 in city...
on highway Freestyle's claimed figure is high compared to polo and difference will be 1 -2 kmpl hardly..

no.. all manufacturers are preparing.. ABS, EBD,Airbags, seat belt warning etc are norms now... biggest challenge is emission norms.. for petrol cars it wont be difficult to meet those but for Diesel cars it will be difficult.. this confusion is one of the reason sales of automobiles are down

Mahindra XUV 500 mai Bosch ka Rollover Mitigation System aata hai.. small car segments mai yeh karib 2 saal pehle aana shuru hua and Ford ne isko jyada market kiya

we have not testes it, but have same engine and quite similar power to weight ratio, mileage should be similar....

Cant promise for sure as we dont have one in friend circle yet. U can check our Ciaz 1.5 road test. Engine is same so mileage will be 1-3 kmpl less compared to ciaz to suv body type

I think rollover is caused by centrifugal force not because of air. 🤔
both play the role.. centrifugal force is the main reason, however downforce is also imp.. as tht counters that and keeps the car in grip with road.. low downforce means rear tyre will loose grip and in case of high speed may get lifted easily

Combined forces of Centrifugal force on the car body and friction on tyres causes rollover. If we are discussing untripped rollover however there is no protection available for tripped rollover.
@@ravishbharti Sir all ur points are valid, may be the example i gave is not to the point, there are sevral factors to it, i was just trying to keep things simple.. but downforce is also very critical as tht applies vertical force on the tyres , and make them grip road better. this allows cars to go faster on the corners.. SUv or more GC means more air going beneath the car.. which increases uplift and reduces downforce and thts why you should not drive suv in triple digits speed as any sudden movement will cause it to loose control easily compared to a sedan or low gc car

Anti-rollover protects the Car from toppling on the banking of track by reducing the speed(there by reducing the Centrifugal Force) automatically.
Can you tell me how Anti-Rollover can protect from rollover if is caused by Air ?

i need to accept it now as my logic is not practical.. having more grip can also cause the roll over and downforce will not help in preventing entirely .. sliding is better than resisting the sideways force and finally getting toppled

I think they stopped parking sensors in Titanium version recently. I bought a car manufactured in Feb 2019. It does have parking sensors

Getting 12-14 in city and 17+ on highway.both with AC on . speed on highway 80-90 kmph.will give better mileage if driven in 60-75 range

I have watched a lot of videos on Ford Freestyle. How does one get rid of the speed governor on the 2020 version freestyle BS-VI. AT 80 Kmph it beeps once and a warning light comes in the fuel gauge, then at 100 there is another beep and at 120 Kmph the beep is continuous which is very irritating. I checked the internet and the manual and there seems to be no solution, even the folks at Team-BHP are complaining about it. And why none of the Ford Freestyle reviewers talk about this irritating aspect
