Hola Josh! Como estas? I just found your channel! I liked the little skits, haha! Here is my little tidbit: I was "dating" my ex for 7 years, I thought I was going to marry him. He was a believer (catholic born and raised) and I was saved by accepting Jesus as my Lord and savior in a Non-denominational church. Even with both of us being believers we were "unequally yoked". We disagreed on a lot of core values (what church to raise our children in, how exactly someone is saved as a Christian, if Mary is the queen of Heaven?, should we ask the "saints" for prayer? and so much more). Also, I was not willing to live in the lukewarm Christianity life-style without repentance that he seemed so comfortable in. All of the *convictions* I had and promises I made to the Lord about purity were seemingly becoming *considerations* because I wanted my ex to be happy. I was deeply in love with him and yet I felt the Lord leading me to end it with Him. I realized I had gone so far from the path I was once on (pursuing Jesus). I was infatuated with him in such a way that when I finally did end it, it hurt so much. However, I knew that I had made the right decision. Since that leap of faith, I have grown so much in my relationship with the Lord. I have no regrets now. If the Lord wills it, I will marry the man of God that He has for me, in the future. I believe that in faith. Until then, I will delight myself in Jesus and be rooted in Him. I am deeply satisfied in Christ and I urge those of you who see this video to rethink what unequally yoked means because even if someone is a believer in Jesus, the true question is, is Jesus the LORD of their life? Who sits on the throne seat of their heart? hint: it should be The Lord. These are important things. P.S. don't be so worried about offending people. As a Christian every day we will say things that will offend someone down the line, especially in our current political climate. Just speak truth and let The Lord bring conviction and reconcile them back to Him :)
Celest P hello and God Bless, Dios te bendiga! First and foremost thanks for visiting this channel! Hope it is a blessing to your life and everyone else’s. Secondly wow wow wow wow wow wow Thank you for this. Honestly this is a powerful testimony!!! I think it’s very important for us as young people to realize when we have an unequally yoked and see that as a RED FLAG in the relationship. Again thanks for your input it’s a powerful testimony and by you Obeying GOD, He has Blessed your life even more! Thanks for this comment again. Keep checking this channel next video I think we will be talking about “Do Christian couples know how to break up” I usually run a poll on IG feel free to follow and I’ll follow back for sure :) GOD BLESS.
Great Job Josh! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 truly agree with your points and dead on with the Bible scriptures! Love the examples as it brings what you are saying to life and a more clear view towards your point. Like you said, it might have been posible before and there may be some unique cases but it’s a risk. While trying to “save” the other person, you will lose yourself a bit without even trying to. Keep up the great work! Love this ❤️
I also made the observation that Paul uses a yoke to describe this relationship, and a yoke is used for working. I think it's so important for young people to think about their future, and this verse tells you to do that, to think about the work you will be doing and really think if this person will be there working by your side, getting the Lord's work done. because we are called to so much more, when we are able to find a spouse who can work along side us we will be a greater tool for Christ.
Yadira hernandez haha YES!! In order for marriage to be successful there needs to be HARD WORK!! It’s not just ehh let’s get married. It’s a huge responsibility, commitment, so so much more !!!
Brother Josh, you did great! May God continue to bless you! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
