After nearly a year , I have had NOTHING but positives to say about this model guitar made by Squier. If you were STILL on the fence....Jump ,...It will catch you! Hahaha
Thank you for your patronage, time and friendships to you all that have stood by my side since I picked up the guitar in 2018. This is one hell of a great community and you are what makes it special to me! I only hope to give back with my honest opinions of these instruments I've obtained since I started. These reviews are coming from a still new to guitar pretty much but not to music and or musical instruments. My knowledge is pretty good I think and I'm learning more as I go. the color is just gorgeous. i ordered one two days ago and i'm already itching to get my hands on it! i'm kind of switching from acoustic and restarting after a couple of months without playing and i'm beyond excited. i hope i'll be able to get to the level of your first demo, it was clean. 🙌🏼

Glad you still love it man. A great guitar to break in to a tele if it's not your normal thing. And just like my bullet strats, sound good stock and hold up fantastic.

I just got one of the FSR Lake Placid Blue models. I'm loving it so far. I'm gonna clean it up a little and maybe change the pickups out eventually. Glad to hear yours still sounds great a year in.
Thank you C😊... true stroy...My fellow friend and youtuber also bought a LPB, that's the one I wanted but was out of stock, ordered one as well and swapped to black pickguard and it looks and sounds fabulous! CCJMUSIC is his channel. Anyway these are extraordinary guitars. Nothing I can find to fault them especially the price! Thank you for commenting and please keep me posted one your endeavor with it!! I cannot wait for you to get it!! Hahah. You will be blown away man. These are killer for the reasonable price. By all means these are great! The best part many forget to mention when describing the bridge pup, the tone knob corrects most of the high pitches some may find too shrill but it's a tele! A workhorse. Keep in mind , there are rare occasions of recieving a dud or less set up than others. If you do not dig it or something is a miss bring it to the nearest store you can and swap it out if GC or Sam Ash ....If not ship back and have them send another. Honestly I've heard of them at times sending a whole new guitar if damaged and keep the damaged one. I doubt you'll have any issues. Please let me know when you recieve it and how you like it!!? I ordered one yesterday 9/15/20 from musicians friend. They have it on sale for $129. I don’t have a tele in my collection and I’ve always wanted one in surf green so I had to have it. I don’t like anything but maple fingerboards on fenders so I’m going to order a mighty mite maple neck next. Yours sounds fantastic!

My 🎸 guitars have Rosewood except for the Squire Bullet Tele, Mustang, my Epiphone LP Muse have Indian Laurel and the others Rosewood. What is the Maple fingerboard like?

Wow that just truly made my day. It's crazy my friend , the price for what you get. It's fender at it's heart and once I changed the strings and polished the frets ...bammm. I played it again tonight and uploaded a little clip to my IG feed. I just love it. Thank you again.
So instead of just my custom shop Telecaster, I now own two 2021 Teles. I am a decades-long working guitarist. I pretty much just had to hit the fret ends, and usual tiny setup stuff like string height. That said, listen to it clean without all the processing, as in the video. You will be pleasantly surprised. They're not Alnicos, but the ceramic pups sound good and the output is there. Mine were on sale for $149 December 2021. It also is a platform worth upgrading. Mike Rutherford of Genesis now has some Bullet Stratocasters (way-upgraded). Yeah, I also bought a '21 Bullet Strat to go along with my $3000 Fender Custom Shop Strat. All my Bullets came with intonation good and truss rod good-to-perfect.
I've been gigging since 1969. Totally agree on "buy it".

Omg your fingers will LOVE YOU! I used to play on acoustic. Years ago...That's what I learned my chords on. When I would grand my bandmates electrics I would always tell them, DAMN! Why is my experience so painful. Hahaha. It was the horrible set up and acoustic with 13s hahaha. Anyway you'll be in great shape in the hands!! Cant wait!
When you go to music store, make sure to handle each one you like the looks of then find one you love the tones of and go with that one!! As you can see here low price doesnt have to be horrible. Hhaha. And if the action is a little high or whatever or even if perifect ask them for a set up or you wont buy it. Hahahaha. Good set up has been my biggest appreciation so far. Make them sing comfy. Hahah

Someone who says they might go electric after they learn more chords is a procrastinating person because you can extend your chord playing on any electric guitar 😆 LOL.

@@robertclarkguitar I have the HSS bullet Strat. It doesn't hum and it has a lot more sound than t SSS. It can be warm or rock your world.

Hello there !!! Thank you very much. Man I miss this dang thing. Here I was talking about how great it is and I wound up letting it go out of a guy wanting it for his handicap son I felt awful for him. He met me here and I went ahead and let him have it. I wound up with a Harley Benton Fusion T HH FNT but I'll be honest. I miss that cheap bullet. I think now they are called Sonic series. But look identical. They did go up 80 bucks or so.

No it was All stock. It is a great guitar for the price. I hope you get one or you find one of you are looking for affordable tele. You can easily upgrade. If anything pups and tuners. But not really a necessity ...thank you!!!

Very good video. Thank you for showing unplugged tone. I happen to believe that it matters. Pickups are important but they don't generate tone, they amplify THAT tone, that's where it starts, then pickups and amp may accentuate some of the content favorably. And it's more just integrity of construction, not tone woods. A guitar should feel resonant and not dull. And awesome playing!
Alex K!!! Wow man I was still and am still in my learning phases and I truly believe you are SPOT ON!!!! THANK YOU for adding this. This is a great comment. Marketing has derailed many and scares them away. I hoped to influence someone just wanting to try one out. I see way more happy than negative over these Squiers. I still mine and the classic Vibe 60s strat.

@@robertclarkguitar yep, I started getting back into playing a bit in 2020. Never had a tele, never liked them when I tried them (thought they sound great in other people's hands). I ended up grabbing a butterscotch version with maple fretboard (also never owned a maple fretboard). I dropped in some GFS pickups, upgraded a few basics - switch, jack, wiring and smoothed up the neck/fretboard and polished the frets. Still can't say that a tele is my favorite guitar but I think it turned out pretty good. Sadly I kind of fell back into not playing, other hobbies taking over. But thanks for the responses :) I think mine was under $100 shipped before upgrades. I was always skeptical of Squiers but no longer.
@@alexk3088 Man that's cool. I used to hate the look of them. Being a drummer I had always thought they were incomplete. Hahaha. I bought this one because silly reason I saw David Gilmour had one. Childhood dreams of playing comfortably numb eventually got me. I bought this after the black strat and CV 60s. I like that maple BSB build one. You got a deal too!!!! Some say they are great bones and I believe that. Thanks so much !!! Hope you pick up again soon!!!

the real genuine talented players like gilmour etc.... i always find they are extremely modest.... and concentrate on the song and the tone rather than the guitar... in fact if you read the text inside cd sleeves.. they list some of the equipment they use on recordings.... i found out mark knoppfler and jimmy paige used quite cheap 'danelectros'.. on a good few tracks.. and most of them in the 60's 70's had cheap telecasters...most of guitaring is HYPE
So true. All those guitara were shelf guitars. Hahah just like today but more hand time. I do not buy into hype much either. Awesome I agree. Love Gilmour. Hah

This guitar is perfect for Surf rock, Rock, ambient and country. Everything in between. People use teles for all types. 3 positions is standard but it's always a great choice to build on as well. Go for it! Sky Is thelimit! And price is killer thank you!!!

Hello Max!! I use 10 46 usually but have messed with Gilmour set for strat GHS on my mim black fsr strat. It has a thicker lower e and I think a. Not sure I remember. Other than that I've been using 10s Ernie Ball or daddario. The regular non fancy. Hahah

Yours does have the ferrules on the back connecting the strings to the bridge. I’m at guitar center returning my third they sent me with out ferrules on the back or the headstock branding. When did you buy yours?
@@Itsmeimyourdad 2019. Listed as Limited Run Sea Foam but looks surf Green to me. That's terrible if they aren't adding the ferrules that will destroy the wood. That sucks you having multiple bad experience with that line. Perhaps you'd be better suited with another brand. If that were me I'd be pissed and writing the company. Take care man.
Yes. Mine had them!!! They should know they are necessity and part of the bullet new series from 2019 up. They made change to headstock removing logo. And wider neck. Not sure what else. Still feel for ya man. That's terrible.
