  • 6 months Already passed since we got Tesla from a Local shop. He was really wild and scared at start. But after 6 months he completely transformed to tame but still a bit annoying parrot with atitude. :)

Tesla is absolutely adorable and I LOVE the name! Perfect for a clever bird like a lovebird. Got two feather babies myself a couple of weeks ago and I can barely get near them so it's reassuring to see how long it took you to get to the petting point with Tesla. Thanks for your videos and your channel. I came here from a video by another RUclipsr who clips their birds wings (which I vehemently disagree with) and I am so glad I did. Thank you for showing how it can be done without taking away one of their fundamental rights.

I think i know which guy you think of. I read good article about importance of flight for their development. I think cliped wings are huge handicap on bird. Also i love when he follows me around, and flying super fast. Lovebirds are known as good fliers.
To be honest i didn't expect him to ever get tamed to this level considering how wild was he at start. But i guess they are social animals and it is in their nature to approach others, and spend time with them. So over time he approached me, always checking on what am i doing, slowly getting closer and closer. But at beginning it was super slow progress.
