Don't worry. We eventually figured out that it was their logo in the thumbnails that caused the copyright strikes, not the phrase "world record."
Good, if it was just those words than a ton of content would just crumble. It's understandable having your logo copyrighted especially if they want to only use if in collaboration with records they give out and not for channels using it to make clickbait/easy content with world records and making it seem like guinness is involved at first, but they did make it seem way too surprising, especially with people like preston getting hit hard out of nowhere for just having it in a few videos.

@@Theadvertisementman3 when they do a world record, it’s meant to be a trophy not a thing that you just never talk about so technically it is a trap. No one’s gonna wanna do a world record when you can’t even do it without getting sued.
@@Theadvertisementman3 the way guiness world records works is people do something noone else has ever done before, then they get a plaque, the trophy for having that record, since this is a huge challenge thing that noone else has ever completed, naturally content creators will try to do those challenges for fame and attention. But now out of nowhere, genesis (the company who owns guiness) is punishing everyone who got a record and made it public by copyright claiming the videos that have any mention of guiness world records, causing those creators to get strikes, which are youtubes way of punishing creators who violate the terms of service, each time a channel gets a strike, that channel will be suppressed by the algorithm and will be suggested to less people, if you get too many strikes you will get your channel taken down.
Basically, genesis is using guiness to destroy large channels unfairly

Contact some of the affected creators and start a class action lawsuit. Guinness do not own the words "world record", so for them to try and copyright every video that has it in the name is corporate suicide. Then advertise to youtube that a class action has been started and maybe try and get in contact with other creators, possibly also the speedrunning community. If you dont oppose them, they may very well have legal precedent to claim "world record" under copyright.
