I do not want a retread of Nolan's style Batman, please oh PLEASE, add the fantastic elements, with some ninjitsu and maybe horror..... Some. Comedy would be nice 😊
In my opinion the 1rst movie was 🗑️, this Batman portrayal was boring, I'll give it another chance with the second movie, choose a worthy villain this round.
Penguin will define the new Batman. Penguin was not great in the movie, so I doubt he can draw me in. Spinoffs have not worked much. Look at Marvel from Disney. Terrible stuff like Captain Marvel blended with kids from Disney. I like Batman stuff, but this series of movies is not close compared to Affleck and Christian Bale

It's so good to see DC healing. I hope more DC live action movies like The Batman are made. The grounded Batman is honestly my favorite.
Colin Farrell was superb as Oz Cobb in The Penguin, just follows on to Batman 2 perfectly
