I do drag and one of the best brow blocking tips I can give you is to apply glue in all directions so you totally coat every hair. Then after you brush your brows up with a VERY FINE tooth comb, get a hairdryer on a cool setting and blow it upwards against your brows to dry them out, you can press them flatter as this is happening with the flat part of the comb. THEN do a second application of glue BUT only rub the glue over the eyebrows UPWARDS the way the brow hairs are already laying... and repeat the hairdryer step again. THEN apply powder. That shit will be FLAAAAT!!

And using and orange concealer will cancel out the dark browns better then the pinky/red concealer

Growing up, The Mummy was my favorite movie. My mom even made my room look like an Egyptian museum for me. We got the movie stand for The Mummy from the VIDEO STORE... let that sink in. It stayed in my room for years. This was a fantastic video. Great job!
Yo I relate hard af in the regard that my mom put alot of money into making my room look like an Egyptian museum except the only difference is that she didn't allow me to watch the mummy until I was like 12 or 13 lol I remember being a little kid and begging her to let me watch it but she wouldn't budge

I just bought the steelbook collection of the Mummy movies and now I have to go and watch them again because of this video. I actually have a library assistant degree and while I can't really do anything with it I'm glad I have something in the same field as Evie.
The Mummy came out the year I met my husband. We we're both 16. I love the character Evie so much that I vowed one day I would have a daughter and name her Evie. Sure enough, 9 years ago I had my daughter and I named her Evie. She lives up to her name!

I am always amazed with people who can contour their face to look like other people, and I think you did a great job! I agree, this is an improvement on your previous cosplay. What really helped was the wig, eyebrows, and lips. And once you put on the glasses, it was unmistakable who you are supposed to be! Great job (again)!

I love this SO MUCH!!! The Mummy has always been one of my favorite films, and that film & Evie (along with so many other films) inspired me to get my degree in History and Archaeology. Evie even inspired me to work in my campus library for a semester in the special collections department, and it was the most amazing experience ever. Also, I think you KILLED this cosplay, and you should 100% make a The Mummy inspired lookbook!!! 😊

Omg this is amazing!! As a little girl I had a VHS copy of The Mummy that I would watch religiously! I have vivid memories of waiting for it to rewind so I could watch it again haha. Evie and Rick were the best and the movie itself is what I miss about how movies used to be. :)
oh man, i remember my two best friends who have been dating since middle school dressed as evie and rick from the mummy one halloween. i ended up going as jonathan, because i was inevitably going to be a third wheel. though benni and winston were close second choices.
I had some friends over for New Years and in the full hour of attempting to choose a movie between the 5 of us, as soon as I offered The Mummy, everyone was ON BOARD! (and the one who hadn't seen it before was in love with it) It absolutely stands up. And everytime I watch it I'm just like yessss...the villain A. speaks his own language through an interpreter B. shows more skin than the female lead, and C. really wants his girlfriend back. It's hilarious, somewhat historical, set in a proper time period for the situation, and all the characters are magnificent!

And it’s full lace with real hair even, so that’s not the problem. Do you just put it on over your wig cap and that’s it? No glueing down the edges? Ahh you look so good as Evie! Such a good transformation and the contacts really make the look! So I saw The Mummy for the first time in my 7th grade social studies class as we were studying Egypt at the time. And I'm pretty sure Brendan Fraiser and Rachel Weisz sparked by bisexual awakening. I also forever love that scene where he screams at the mummy and it freaks out, makes me laugh every time.

I know this video is old but when you mentioned the sound that creeps you out, I remembered how much the sound at the beginning of Twister when the tornado drips apart the title. It's always creeped me out in ways I can't explain. Anyway, I love your cosplay. You look great! The Mummy is a masterpiece. Evie was and still is my hero. I quoted her for years in high school and college (I went to school for Library Science.)
