Last year I visited Scotland, the land of my ancestors on my mother’s side…for the first time. What a magical place. Made me very proud to be part Scottish. I learned that Scottland was the only region that was never conquered by the Roman Empire.
Well, they invaded and defeated the Scotts a few times but certainly did not stay; they conquered and occupied Wales and Britain proper (where the Tin, Gold and food stuffs existed). Ireland they never invaded and so was the only major region in Western Europe never occupied or conquered.

We as a family listened to this CD a lot. When my son was a teenager he would soak in the bath and listen to this. ( He was a BMX rider and had some wipeouts) Today he had surgery on his foot, he sent this to me, he is listening to it as he recovers😊❤
This must be one of the top 10 songs ever produced. I also love the fact that it's technically a waltz. So classy and iconic and all things good. Enya is something else..
I don't have children but your comment made me cry.....i imagine all the beauty and healing this song bring to you... and the wonderful memories. For me it helps through crippling morning anxiety and PTSD from childhood trauma. Every morning in my life I'm going through horrible anxiety attacks and nausea since childhood...... Love and light to you and your family.....(from Florida...)
I will say this, Enya will make anyone feel at ease after listening to any of her songs. After dealing with family issues, I would listen to her songs and feel very calm.
one of her most beautiful songs! haunting melody and harmonies! the little kid in the video looks a lot like my son when he was his age. another reason i love this video!
It is one of her most prettiest songs, I could never get tired of her music or this song. I have been enjoying it since I was eight years old, I even like the piano and cello tribute to this song, they're also beautiful.
I love enyas voice her songs are so melodic. I play her playlist loud in my car as I go to work and back. It's very decompressing after a long hard day. And driving out to the forest and mountains now as green is coming back makes me feel like I'm in Ireland...wonderful woman...
I am Japanese I can't speak English, but ... I can't live without Enya's art I cannot live without the world of Enya It's strange because I'm Japanese, but Enya is the home of my soul
This song and the instrumental "Watermark" are two of my favorite works ever. The beautiful Caribbean Blue, written for a waltz undoubtedly is a dreamsscape in modern music.
My comment is so lame to some of yours! I've learned of Enya on a trip up the Columbia River to Multnomah Falls with a friend of my wives and she put this in the audio player! It was paint the skies! From that day forward I am absolutely in love with her music. It's so beautifully haunting romantically bearing it's incredible thank you for the video
Fun fact: Not only does Enya write almost all of her songs, she performs all of the instruments, one at a time, in re-recording, mostly in her earlier works.
I remember hearing it as a kid in the radio accidentally and just standing still listening to those harmonies, melodies, ethereal haunting elements I knew nothing about except the choir I was in at the time, didn't know what it was until someone on the radio said Enya(which means meaning in Greek because I'm Greek)..that song defined me!it combines the grand blue whether it's the deep sea or the endless sky it still is one of the 10 most influential songs in the soundtrack of my life!a genius song!thank you fullheartedly! ❤
I listen to this music, which is air in motion, and I feel that it's something different from me as a human being. I am made of flesh. Feeling this difference, I long to ascend, and transcend my limitations as a human being. I want to be air in motion. And it's in this difference that I find beauty.
I was just thinking the same... Remember when you heard novelty (such as this) and it seemed like there was seriously some bit of magic in it? It made you stop and furrow your brow in a sort of awe. Remember when, even if you didn't quite like something, you often still understood its value as a highly-unique and original piece of work? Remember originality itself...? That mix of weird and cool that you didn't know could exist until you were introduced to it? Its esoteric depth of soul tuned you right in that something special was happening. This is what was lost for some reason. Why? People do have mechanical, 'AMGT'-style talent today... where they freak their voice up and down and everyone claps while they sing another person's song. Or if someone does have an original, it is just okay. But few were coming out w powerful original souls past 2000s, imo. In fact, every decade before 2000, from 50s-90s, had towering works of greatness.
@@TopBadge Where is this era's Red Hot Chili Peppers? While it's true the greatest eras of powerful music were the 50s, 60s, and 70a, the difference is, at least SOME great music still existed in the 90s... Today, there is EXTREMELY little, if any, truly original good music coming out. There is mechanical talent, yes (but even in voices and sound, today's popular music is very less-distinctive than in past eras). There's no powerful originality, a distasteful emotional prosaicism, and a distinct lack of lyrical depth.
Lord, thank you for creating this beautiful woman for our entertainment... it's a gift that I have and will cherish for the rest of my life..May her music bring smiles upon those that listen ~~~Amen!!
We won all three games that Sunday in Athens, Ga. Under-something champs too long ago to remember the age but I do remember waiting for Orinoco Flow to finish before getting out of the Z that early Sunday morn. To think that one can hit 117 on US 78 at that early hour of the morning is still a fond memory....or was it Caribbean Blue that I waited to hear the end of...no matter, fond memories none the less--and the team? They were so proud of what they had accomplished and me? I only took credit for watching and helping them make adjustments to achieve their full potential.

Beautiful song from a very very talented woman, to me she’s a one of a kind, a rare jewel. We love you Enya😊
Enya is in another level of existence I swear to god
I will say this, Enya will make anyone feel at ease after listening to any of her songs. After dealing with family issues, I would listen to her songs and feel very calm.

one of her most beautiful songs!
haunting melody and harmonies!
the little kid in the video looks a lot like my son
when he was his age.
another reason i love this video!
It is one of her most prettiest songs, I could never get tired of her music or this song. I have been enjoying it since I was eight years old, I even like the piano and cello tribute to this song, they're also beautiful.
The moment the painting comes to life always gets me.
No dejemos morir esta joya musical.
2021 y seguimos aquí
A que es preciosa la musica
Ya estoy en 2022 escuchando
Abril de 2022 y aún la escucho.
Mayo 22 escuchando
I love enyas voice her songs are so melodic. I play her playlist loud in my car as I go to work and back. It's very decompressing after a long hard day. And driving out to the forest and mountains now as green is coming back makes me feel like I'm in Ireland...wonderful woman...
Angel sounds😮
Absolutely stunning isn't it?

¡Hola! Yo hablar muy poco español. ¿cómo estás? Soy de Pakistan y estoy aprendiendo español.
In a world that's getting shittier by the minute, this is one of the few things that cheers me up and keeps me going.

❤️
Fun fact: Not only does Enya write almost all of her songs, she performs all of the instruments, one at a time, in re-recording, mostly in her earlier works.
If you search this song by yourself you have a great musical taste ☺️✨
Beautyful Video🤩
I knew there was an enya song that I would spin around to as a child and I finally found it today after 20 years. Instant tears!
awww,so beautiful

My favorite Enya song............ greetings of Peru...
Imagine. This is the first Enya song I was introduced to. Hooked from the jump. It wasn't even fair.
That's the sound in heaven.i have heard during my encounter with God in heaven. When I was declared dead 1967 little girl soul travel to heaven.
God bless you
This is my favourite music video, ever. It looks like a painting coming to life. It’s absolutely stunning.
There was something so enchanting about this tune when I was in my teens. I still love it to this day.

Very well said.
Great Song Forever !
One of the most beautiful video I' ve ever seen! Music like this is perfect to your heart.
This is my favourite song by Enya.
I listen to this music, which is air in motion, and I feel that it's something different from me as a human being. I am made of flesh. Feeling this difference, I long to ascend, and transcend my limitations as a human being. I want to be air in motion. And it's in this difference that I find beauty.
+MrJohnnyOwl Beautifully said!
+MrJohnnyOwl wow....air in motion....love the idea of that...
+MrJohnnyOwl Meet God and you'll be able to transcend.
+MrJohnnyOwl You have words into my feelings!!
Im glad I’m from 90’s. When music still existed.
💯❤️🥰
@@leaf842buried under pile of trash nowadays. Hard to find.
It's funny because you talk like you're from the 50s. The 90 o also had a LOT of shit music. You just don't remember it.
I am pretty sure that hundreds of years from now, people will still be listening to Enya. Forever classic.
Even the angels weep when they hear Enya's magical ethereal voice..
I can't watch this without crying.
Same
You're not alone
Same here
Lord, thank you for creating this beautiful woman for our entertainment... it's a gift that I have and will cherish for the rest of my life..May her music bring smiles upon those that listen ~~~Amen!!
Who's out there 2021 . Such a beautiful voice and beautiful women. She's an angel.
Brilliant, it looks something like a CELESTIAL WALTZ.
On a personal level, remember when my daughter was a child, we listened it for her to sleep, today she's almost 30 and has her own family.
Missing those times, good times that ternity won't bring anymore.
