Nothing in Soulsborne bothered me until Aldrich. The concept of some hedonistic cannibal with unyielding power, a cult following it, and a massive boner for making its victims suffer, including one of the more pitiable and memorable DS1 characters actually makes me genuinely dislike Aldrich beyond just wanting to kill it because it's a boss.
Well, if you interpret the lore the way I do, Pontiff Sulyvahn is just as responsible for all of that as Aldrich himself. So now you can divide your contempt for the whole matter between the two of them, if that helps.
I hate aldrich and Sulyvahn equally, those two bastards have basically ruined the world with their bullshit... The evangelists wouldn't be there if it weren't for Aldrich, the outrider knights (vordt, dancer, and the other irithyl knights) wouldn't be there if it weren't for Sulyvahn, The deacons are Aldrich's worshippers, Irithyl fell to evil after Sulyvahn took power (all those knights there trying to kill you are his)... Sulyvahn probably ruined the Profaned Capital as well... Aldrich and Sulyvahn both got Gwyndolin killed, and possibly crossbreed priscilla (We don't know for sure, but the fact that you can transpose Lifehunt Scythe from him is a hint in either of two directions: Either, as the lore behind LH scythe states, he dreamt of priscilla, but to enough detail that he was able to mimic her Lifehunt, or he dreamt of her and then came for her in the Painted World, it is in Anor Londo after all...) There's even a hint that aldrich devoured Nito as well (aldrich's music theme has some of nito's characteristics, he wields a magical Gravelord sword, and he has a nito-ish look below gwyndolin's body with all those hairs and skeletons poking out), but that seems unlikely, because nito was actually a required boss to kill in Dark Souls, so he shouldn't even be alive anymore...
Hahaha. Yeah I laughed so hard as i fought the first time this boss. because i thought the same :D it has to be a conection to Outer Heaven :D hahahaha
you should totally do the top ten most disgusting bosses, also top bullshit bosses because hearing you rage just talking about a boss is music to my ears
the lore with ocieros is he used to be the king of lothric but the queen had a miscarriage with their third child. consumed with grief he secluded himself in the grand archives searching for a way to save his dead kid. he found a book about the ancient dragons and their immortality, more specifically seath the scaleless so he began to experiment on himself wich is why he has a dragon appearance. he eventually became blind and insane imagining he saved the child he never had
On a more meta note, Fromsoft originally textured him carrying a baby in his hand. The baby was clearly dead, and having a diaper made of branches very reminiscent of Seath. Problem was, when Oceiros enters his second phase he slams the baby into the ground in a fit of rage, crushing it. While an incredibly cool concept, the main theory is that legal came over and reminded them that some countries flat out outlaw the depiction of the death of children, and keeping the baby in would risk getting their game banned by those countries, limiting sales. So they removed the texture, and possibly added the voice-over to emphasize his tragic madness instead. However if you listen carefully during the fight, you can also hear a baby crying....
Laurence was the hardest boss for me in the entire souls series. And his lore relates to almost the very foundation of Bloodbornes story. Definitely thought he'd be top 10
Yesterday I have beaten laurence. He was the hardest boss for me too. I need 5 days for him. I am confused why the fuck pimwheel a higher difficulty than laurence has
@@robingolling1871 I beat Laurence today, and I personally think he's a little overrated. Not saying he's easy, but I beat him after 3 tries. I dunno, just thought his movements were kind of slow and easy to dodge. Then again, I died an embarrassing amount of times to Ludwig and Orphan, so I'm not sure I can talk.
@@elijoy2585 same here man that's what I love about these games everyone has a different experience with difficulty a boss that might be difficult for you can be easy for somebody and vice versa
Laurence’s placement that low on this list is seriously reductive and kind of insulting. Below Celestial Emissary and the One Reborn? Come on. Even if he was as derivative as is implied (and I don’t agree with that, he had more unique moves in the first phase than the OP is acknowledging), that’s straight up ridiculous. He’s not top tier design but he is upper mid for sure, and difficulty-wise he was definitely above Maria IMO.
Here's my guess on Oceiros, based on what I remember: The members of the Lothric royal family were obsessed with creating the perfect heir through mixing the research hidden within the Grand Archives with their bloodline. Their first attempt created Lorian, the elder prince who was pretty much a normal man, albeit a highly skilled warrior. Their second attempt created Lothric, whom had the magical potential that was hidden within the archives but was cursed with a frail body due to being too human, and in order to survive his curse, Lorian bore half of it, which is what rendered Lorian mute and crippled. By the time Ocelotte was created, Oceiros, whom was Lothric and Lorian's father, became obsessed with the Seath's research and became warped by it, turning into the strange dragonkin that he was. Ocelotte was, to Oceiros, the crowning achievement of their family's research due to him being born both dragon and man, but the madness of the crystal dragon made him unsuitable for ruling Lothric, the land of Humanity and the Hollows, allowing the twin princes to take the throne. Out of the fear that he would damage Lothric with his dragon-fueled madness, Oceiros was sealed away by the Twin Princes, though the fate of Ocelotte is unknown. I would guess that he was taken from Oceiros when he was sealed in his garden, and his madness makes him think he remains still in care of the child of man and dragon. Of course, Ocelotte might end up being in DLC and totally undoing everything I just typed.
im going to hazard a guess: either still playing dark souls 3, or making sure he has a clear picture of the lore before he releases a video about it. i mean, half of the souls community seems to accept his word as law when it comes to lore, so he's gotta be REALLY sure of himself when he puts a video up. ..... damn i want more prepare to cry :(
Great theory and I for myself had a quite similiar theory. But what I came up with that differs from your theory is the following : failing to "create" the perfect heir and driven insane by the research of Seath, Oceiros in his despair made up the existence of Ocelotte. I think Ocelotte doesn't really exist but actually represents what Oceiros always wanted to achieve, yet failed to. That's just my theory however, looking forward to when it may be cleared up one day.
LOL, you still haven't answered my question... I did not finish the video yet so I will ask it once again. What are your thoughts on ''The Nameless King''?
Oceiros is actually one of my favorite bosses, I thought the fight was very good and it was cool that he talked to the player. Not the hardest fight but really fun in my opinion
Thing is, there's actually *better* bosses which talk to you. And now, after like, the release of Sekiro and Elden Ring, I can definitely say that: say Genichiro, Gael, Margit the Fell Omen, Gehrman talks to you too (it doesn't seem like it, but he does), and several others which I can't really think off the top of my mind.
+Golden Foxy the whole backstabbing Ocerios thing might have been the intended design due the description on the Dragonscale ring. Still it's a pretty shit design decision at that though.
theDeModcracy just wanted to say thank you for continuing to make videos on a tight schedule; I check your channel daily for new Soulsborne/Darkborne/Darkblood w/e content because your enthusiasm and love for the series makes playing the games more enjoyable. Regardless if people agree with your rankings, I just wanna keep watching your videos!
Thanks Lars! I try my best to get my videos out quickly, just never want to sacrifice on the quality. I just finished a big move so there's been a delay, but the releases should pick up very shortly!
There's also the fact that the first 5-10 seconds of Nito's fight is pure bullshit. After taking a mandatory drop long enough to take huge chunk of health off before the fight even starts, you then have to hope that Nito doesn't immediately open with a Gravelord Sword, which requires split-second rolling to not get hit by and would be much easier to dodge if you could actually SEE Nito pull off the attack instead of having to time your roll to a specific point AFTER an audio cue. And if you're especially unlucky he'll just do a second Gravelord Sword right afterwards as an extra fuck you.
It seems that a lot of people are getting caught up in the numbers (in particular on Laurence), so I want to clarify a bit. Difficulty scores are based on fairness/if the difficulty makes sense in the context of the fight. While I agree that Laurence should be a very difficult boss, I don't agree with just how much damage he does (particularly in the second phase), I think the addition of fire AOE follow-ups to make it harder was a poor choice, and Laurence deserved better than being a re-skinned high damage model of Cleric Beast. Some of this probably should've factored more into "Design," but of course, this is just my personal opinion. I would be lying if I said it wasn't a monumental task to try to rank all these bosses accurately in terms of the number scores, so there's bound to be a few head-scratchers for those who don't agree with my viewpoint. I recommend taking my commentary as the most accurate reflection of how I feel about a boss over any of the scores.
Another cause of confusion is that the difficulty ratings here don't match with those in your previous series. For example, you gave Nito a much higher rating in the Dark Souls boss rankings but only a 2.5 here. I get that the criteria has changed a bit but for casual people watching this, it's very confusing.
Laurence was the hardest boss in Bloodborne IMO. I had an easier time with Orphan of Kos. I'm not sure what it was, but it seemed like I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I can understand the confusion, especially since the difficulty rankings were voted on by the community - so those rankings were not influenced by me at all. That's one of the primary reasons I started this series, to give my own thoughts.
Not to mention that it's said in an item description(I believe Hidden or Divine Blessing) that the Queen disappeared after giving birth to Ocelotte, and with how much he cares for her as shown via dialogue, there was something going on.
Nice to see a dark souls channel that isn't dedicated to nothing but PvP meta builds and trolling, but rather quality discussions about the series. Good video as usual.
Laurence was my favorite fight in all Soulsborne... why u do dis? I actually liked Defiled Amygdala too, but I thought his jump move was stupid. Whenever he got below 20% he'd spam that attack nonstop.
Step 1: Make an arcane build Step 2: Equip Executioner's Gloves Step 3: Target Amygdala's head Step 4: Spam the following combination of buttons: Up, Triangle, Square, Square (Add an R1 whenever you get a visceral opening from getting the headshot) Protip: I hope you're not lactose-intolerant, because it's time for *CHEEESE*!
Laurence's design is lazy as fuck and cheap to fight against. It doesn't matter how good the lore is, he is an affront to what players should get out of a game: fun.
Hey man, just started getting into Souls games a few weeks ago, just banged out DS1 on NG and NG+ before getting DS3. Gotta say that your videos played a huuuge part in me getting way into souls. So, thanks!
here So many of you have probably beaten the optional boss fight "Oceiros, the consumed king" and you probably noticed he would not shut up about Ocelot. But who is Ocelot, and where is he? Ocelot is the youngest son of Oceiros, brother of Lothric and Lorian. Ocelot was probably conceived after Oceiros became obsessed with dragons and transformed into a Seath-like abomination, thus the referances to him being a "Child of dragons". So where is Ocelot? I mean, we can hear his cries during the boss fight while his father talks to him. Well, there is one other half dragon in the Souls series. Priscilla. And what is her most striking ability? Invisibility. If we keep this in mind, look at Oceiros' stance. He is clutching his arm to his chest, as if he's holding something. I believe he is holding his invisible son. He wishes for us to see him, as he believes us to be his servants, so that we may see the glory of dragons, but Ocelot is afraid, and using his invisibility to hide. During the first half of the boss fight Oceiros is trying to coax him into showing himself. But then what happens in phase two? Most of us have probably been striking at Oceiros' chest for the first half, and by extention, Ocelot. When we enter phase two Oceiros holds his hands up in front of his face, staring at something unseen with disbelief. He then screams Ocelot's name in a voice full of disbelief and pain before enraging and coming at us at full ferocity. Not only that, but Ocelot stops screaming for the second half. My take on this? We killed the invisible Ocelot and Oceiros enrages upon seeing his son's mutilated corpse, his magical abilities letting him see past his sons stealth. Thoughts?
Great theory , but I believe oceiros is angry at humans in general , because ocelote don't even tries to do some stealth stuff to help his father , well the DLC will clear things up.
Definitely one of the better boss lists I've had the pleasure of watching recently. I like that you don't feel the need to hold back on your own opinions and your rating system is far more fair than others. Keep it up!
Thanks for such positive feedback Kyle. I always want to express my opinion honestly because I feel it makes for the best video and encourages you all to share your own thoughts. I'll keep it up!
Aldia is personally my favorite character lore wise in DS2. And his theme and voice acting were awesome. But his fight...not the best. So I agree with his placement in this list. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy the way you explain your thoughts on these bosses, just seems like it's a combination of being chill and professional at the same time. Keep it up Demodcracy
A lot of people seem to still not understand this so here is every category and how they are ranked. The difficulty score is how hard it is with the fairness, if a fight is super hard and also fair, then it gets a high score, if the fight is hard and bull shit, it ranks low, but if its easy as shit, it'll still rank lower, then difficult but fair fights. Design is the design of the fight, not the design of the boss, such as mechanics, like bed of chaos got a zero in design, because it was idiotically designed. Lore is how well the fight actually shows off the bosses lore, not the lore itself. And finally entertainment is well how entertaining the fight is, if you find yourself really enjoying the fight, or getting really sick of the fight, like for example the skeleton lords are just kill this, now fight an army of skeletons, kind of boring compared to other bosses. Thats how every category is ranked.
'if it's easy as shit, it'll rank lower' see, he gave laurence a 0 though. that boss is insanely difficult. no boss in that game pissed me off more than him. even orphan of kos who is way stronger was at least fun as hell to fight and a great challenge to overcome. laurence is just artificial difficulty cranked up to 11. i think his scale makes more sense if you consider 0 to mean that it's so bad it's not at all enjoyable. so, laurence is such a bs fight that he's deserving of 0/10 since the difficulty is unrealistic
Capra is pretty damn well designed. It teaches you a couple of important things in a very small space. Divide enemies to take them down individually, don't turtle all the time, use your environment to your advantage, don't try swinging like an idiot in small spaces because you'll bounce off the wall, get roll timing down almost perfectly, don't chug an estus just because your health is low - make sure you have the right opening. Anybody that doesn't learn these things in that fight either overleveled to an extreme degree, or summoned. Also Gehrman, Orphan and Ludwig better be in the top 5 because god damn, for all the mediocre Bloodborne bosses, those make it all forgivable and the connections between Gehrman and Orphan are genuinely impressive.
basically how proper the difficulty is made. so if its hard but fair, it gets a 10. for me, capra wasnt that hard, but i guess alot of people dont agree
...please watch the second video 0/10 means the boss is unfair difficult (like capra demon; it's only difficult because of the tight space) 10/10 means the boss is difficult but the difficult is fair or it ties with the lore (like the ancient dragon being unfair because it makes sense lorewise or some bosses that feel difficult but achievable and not bullshity)
'I don't like the capra demon Because of the poor design of the arena.' 'the fight is fun because of the small arena.' do you even know what design means?
I never have had too much difficulty with Capra, even when I was a newbie. I always dash to the stairs, kill the two dogs, roll off and heal, then smack Capra and retreat until he dies. I think the boss that gave me most trouble early on was the Gargoyles.
Curious, I've always found the tighter boss arenas of the Souls games to be the weakest because, to me, they don't play to the series' strengths. Being unable to effectively dodge or avoid an enemy attack because of being stuck in the corner (which also prevents you from backing off to recover stamina), or rolling into a solid wall, isn't something I'd personally consider to be a fair or interesting fight. Contrast that with something like the Tower Knight, which allows you to safely deal with the archers first and effectively form a strategy for dealing with the knight itself. The fight's still a pretty challenging one, but it feels fair and retains the sense of awe you get from first entering the arena.. I'm willing to admit that a smaller arena can add to a fight if it's well designed, such as the precarious platform you fight the Iron Golem on which made blocking less viable but encouraged dodging (even if his moves were a bit *too* easy to dodge). But because dodging and blocking are the two main counters to boss attacks, I always felt the Capra Demon was cheap as a result, not least because the dogs give you no chance to recover your stamina.
I really like the Fool's Idol's design. She actually looks rather attractive in a game where practically everything is grim and ugly, it makes you understand why so many worshiped her. Its like she gave them a spark of light in the dominant darkness that is the tower of Latria.
I bitched about your "souls series" usage, and you already replied to me on a different video, but I have to comment: Your new moniker for them is OUTSTANDING. BloodSouls. Regardless, well done. Love your videos. I get excited when I see a notification that DeModcracy has uploaded a new video. Thanks for your hard work, I enjoy every second.
I like BloodSouls too. Jokes aside, I think it's the one I'll actually stick with. Thanks for being here so early and I appreciate the kind words Shreepsy!
theDeModcracy Hey I think it's an obligation to support something I get enjoyment out of. Your videos are awesome. If I can use this as a platform to gripe though, Oceiros is in the running for my favorite boss in all of BloodSouls! I've never been so off-put while playing a game I thought I knew everything about! I really want to discover the lore of Oceiros and little Ocelotte. Again though, thanks for making the videos DeMod. Love all of it.
I hear you on Oceiros, it's definitely intriguing what's going on there. I look forward to hearing more fan theories and maybe the DLC will expand on his story! And thanks again for being so kind. I'll work hard to keep making more great videos!
He said in the first video that the difficulty was to represent if it was accurate to that point in the game. Like the ancient dragon got a ten because it represents it's lore in terms of difficulty and was optional.
Ocelot is a halfbreed like Pricilla and is invisible, he is actually holding him during the fight which is made more horrifying by the fact that Ocireos slams his hand that was curled down on the ground while screaming his name like he is pissed signifying that he just murdered his infant child out of anger and that caused him to go full berserk.
I think he said this before. Difficulty score is not based on how hard it is, but rather how fair the difficulty feels. Ancient Dragon is unfair difficulty, O&S is fairer difficulty for example.
I still don't get his Laurence though. 0/10 difficulty when it feels like a regular fight, but 3/10 for celestial emmiserys which is literally just a mob that turns into a slightly more powerful mob? Come on now
I agree his visual design is badass! The design score is actually ranked on the mechanics of the fight (i.e. the "design" of the fight). I probably should've just called it mechanics. Sorry for the confusion!
theDeModcracy ahhh gotcha. Thanks for clearing it up. Loving the series so far! I appreciate all the work you put into your videos. I subbed at like 3,000 and i knew your channel was going to grow quickly. Keep it up man!
Nito's design score should have been way higher than that, he's one of the most visually badass characters From has ever made, and perfectly suits his status within the lore. The concept behind the fight is also sound design, it's just exploitable by experienced players.
The design score is not for the bosses design its more for the boss area. Granted the Nito looks badass but he was not scoring that, he was scoring the entire boss area.
The Dragonscale ring says a lot about Oceiros: "Ring of Oceiros, former king of Lothric. Reduces damage from backstabs. In his later years, Oceiros became fascinated with dragons. After going mad, he was more commonly known as the Consumed King. Many assassins were dispatched to his domain, but none returned. The Consumed King ascribed his resilience to the divine protection of the dragon scale."
+CoBeX31 But the difficulty of the dragon is based on it's lore, like WASTED DAZE said, because it took multiple gods to take it down. So you will be in trouble trying it alone, and the fight perfectly shows that. And there is no reason in bloodborne to make amygdala so hard, because there is nothing in it's lore that says it is a powerful creature.
It's interesting how quite a few of these bosses have really good music. Some of the best in all the games imo, such as Laurence that last Vicar and living failures song
Basically, the difficulty score is how fair the fight is. Orphan of Kos is probably gonna have a very high score in difficulty because his fight is mostly about causing you to make mistakes and punishing you. Ludwig, on the other side, is probably gonna have a medium difficulty score because the first phase is complete bullshit and the second one is really well balanced.
I'm not sure if someone has already said it, but I've heard some stuff about what Oceiros can be: From what I've heard he was one of the kings of Lothric (Not sure if he is the Twin Princes' father or not) who became obsessed with mimicking or becoming like Seath the Scaleless. Basically, his experiments resulted in him becoming the beast that we see, as well as resulting in his section of the castle being ruined. This is why after the fight you can find all of the dragon corpses and the serpent/dragons. Also, there seems to be two explanations for the Consumed King's son, Ocelot; One claim is that the son died quite a while ago and that Oceiros has lost his mind, due to his physical changes, loss of his son, and failure to become as powerful as Seath. The second claim is that Ocelot is still alive and is actually being cradled by Oceiros in the first phase of the fight, but is just invisible. Earlier on in the series (I can't remember who they were) there have been one or two half dragon- half human hybrids (Like Ocelot would be) that can become invisible.
I wonder how high you will have to be in the list to start talking about bosses in a positive light. lol Even a lot of these bosses don't merit the negativity you give them, even if they are lower than other bosses in the series.
But they are fair fights. Rating them as a 0 for fairness is entirely unjustified; both bosses have clearly telegraphed attacks and simple movesets. They're endgame bosses that are meant to be difficult, but patience is all that's necessary for beating them. You've explained previously that your playstyle is overly aggressive with little care for your own HP -- this is a playstyle that these bosses were designed to punish.
Shin defiled amygdala is in the top 3 most unfair bosses in the series for me, the damage it does is ridiculous and can just randomly one shot you for no reason near the end even if you play patient. The final phase is even worse because every attack has AOE and seen as it has so much reach it’s basically unavoidable
I believe the lore with Oceiros is that he consumed his child, Ocelotte, in order to gain more power. Wracked with grief, Oceiros went insane and convinced himself that Ocelotte was just hiding from him. The sounds that "Ocelotte" makes during the fight are actually spells created by Oceiros as he was going insae to keep the illusion that Ocelotte was still alive.
He didn't consume any children. King Oceiros was married to the Queen of Lothric (supposedly Gwynevere as she is a goddess of fertility as Divine Blessing mentions). He was obsessed with creating the perfect heir to link the flame. Both Lorian and Lothric were a result of this "inbreeding". He eventually turned insane with his obsession of creating the perfect heir to link the flame. He went onto study in the Grand Archives, which is a place where the Scholars of Lothric worshipped the paledrake, Seath (who was also known for being insane/mad back in DS1). There you have it. No interpretation, just face of his lore. What he did with Ocelotte is unknown. Some speculate he is a crossbreed like Priscilla and can turn himself invisible, and some believe the Queen of Lothric ran away with Ocelotte, and Oceiros is somehow projecting his madness as the sound of a baby crying.
Here's a tip I don't know if anyone's figured out for the Capra Demon. If you go to the very top of the staircase, and turn right, there's a small platform adjacent to the wall that you can step on to. After that, stand in the corner and block. The boss will approach you, and hit you maybe once or twice, before falling below you. He'll stay below you for a bit, so you can get some aerial attacks in. You're welcome
+theDeModcracy Im that case, ancient dragon has no right to be a 10/10 in difficulty. It is not fair in any way, and what we should expect from a "legendary dragon" should be something akin to Kalameet, not a giant dragon who just flys and beaths fire a bit and then stands still for you to whack at him.
+Christian Alfaro I smacked the ancient dragon with a gyrm great shield +10, so I thought it was kinda cheesable. I also thought Laurance was a cakewalk, since I got him on the first time.
The original iteration of Oceiros had him holding his child, Ocelot, in his arm. When he went insane, he would smash the baby into the floor, killing it, showing that he's... well, completely lost his marbles. But, Fromsoft decided that having a deranged tentacledragon-man crushing a baby was too much, and instead made him hallucinating that he is holding his child. You can hear a baby crying in the background of the fight, if you listen closely, so you can assume that Ocelot is in a different room than Oceiros.
Laurence difficulty 0/10? What? That guy was harder than all of the main game's bosses imo. I did however first kill him when I was NG++ with an underleveled character. But still I would rate him a lot higher in difficulty
My guess on Ocerios is that he created a baby dragon and named it Ocelotte, he then merged his soul with it to become as one in an attempt to create the perfect being. Like when you battle Oceiros, in the first phase the boss seems terrified of you, it backs off and try to shove you away, all while Oceiros keeps telling Ocelotte to not be afraid, to come out and play. And in the second phase Ocelotte finally emerges, Oceiros screams it's name and the moveset switches to a feral, berserk style. Kinda like a beast trying to desperately kill you. That's my take on it.
When you get to Vicar Amelia in your rankings, please pronounce her name correctly. It is pronounced Vick-er Amelia. VICK ER. Not vye car. Trust me on this, you can look it up. It is a clergy ranking and there is no such thing as vye car. I know a lot of other youtubers have been pronouncing it that way but they either don't know what a vicar is or have just been saying it wrong.
I heard a theory that Ocelotte is on the staff that Oceiros is holding in the first half of the fight. You can hear a baby crying while fighting him during this half then once you get him to half health the baby begins crying harder and you can literally hear the baby sounding like it's being crushed after he slams the staff into the ground. After Oceiros does this you can't hear the crying anymore.
It's because of the way he's ranked it's. If the fight is hard and unfair, it gets a low difficulty score. But if the fight is fair but still hard, it gets a high difficulty score (like the ancient dragon). It's because Lawrence is designed to 1 or 2 shot you with erratic movements, AOE attacks and is generally bullshit, it gets a low score.
Yeah, but the fact that is super late game and he can still basically 1 shot you is unfair. Especially when he's in his second form, his movements are so erratic and untelegraphed that on your first fight with him, it's bullshit
Ocelotte is actually there during the first phase of the Oceiros-encounter. You can hear a baby cry in the background if you listen closely. My theory is, that during the transition into phase 2 he kills her. He makes like a slamming movement while crying her name. This would tie in very well with the theme of phase 2: him killing his baby would coincide very well with the outbreak of his more animalistic nature and his loss of the last bit of humanity he had left.
0/10 difficulty for the First Vicar? Clearly you never tried on NG+7. He's an absolute nightmare to deal with. I get that these are your personal opinions, but there could be some clarification on why/how you feel the way you do.
the score for the difficulty isn't based on how difficult the fight is, it's based on how well designed the fight is. So as an example: bed of chaos got a score of 0/10 for difficulty, not because the fight is easy, but because it's just straight up bad designed, frustrating and unfair.
Thats what every category is ranked on.
I like the Capra demon, I mean I did beat it on my third try but still. People rage that the area is too small, but I like that. It forces you to mind where you are, and I like how the way you fight the boss completely changes once you kill the two dogs.
Or is trying to not ramp up the volume in a video by yelling top of lungs like a lot of annoying youtubers do. It's annoying as balls to have to turn the volume down, mid video, because the person decides to start yelling.
Wow this was almost 4 years ago but I will post this in case someone was wondering or maybe even Demod was... A huge chunk of the fight with Oceiros was cut out because FROM thought it was too dark even for a Souls game. Originally Oceiros was supposed to be holding a baby. This baby was Ocelotte, youngest brother of the Twin Princes. You can even still hear the crying from Ocelotte during the fight and while you are near the fog gate. During second phase, when Oceiros yells OCELOTTE, Oceiros was to kill the baby by some means, weather it be from insanity, or maybe because he thought it would make him stronger (Which it definitely did). I think there was beta files for Ocelotte in the game even, but they have since been removed.
Oceiros was the king of Lothric, the queen had a son named ocelot who then disappeared. After that the king went to look into research in the archives and found work of Seath. He then became obsessed with dragons which eventually ended him where he is now.
Yeah I had absolutely no idea there were even Crones to worry about when I fought the One Reborn. I only found out about their existence from your videos.
Oceirus had another child who fancies himself an expert shot until he got his ass kicked by the greatest soldier of all time during the Cold War. That stranger gave him advice on gun usage and thus, ocelot, revolver ocelot, was born.
Totally agree on Nito. Along with Pinwheel, he was (if I remember correctly) pretty much the only boss in DS1 I killed on my first attempt in my first playthrough. He didn't go down quite as fast as Pinwheel, but that's only because he has more health. His lore is great, but one of the Lords should be a lot harder to kill than that, even with Pinwheel draining his power or whatever.
You should do a top 10 loudest moments in your streaming career 😂 great content even if I do feel myself needing to turn down my volume as soon as your videos start 😂😂😂
With the consumed king, there has been a lot of cut content such as audio of a toddler crying and also the model in his hand that is cradling is the skeletal structure of a child in design. The skeletal structure was soon to be dismissed yet the hand still goes to the contours of the structure. From my understanding the reason why the audio and model structure were cut was because it was thought to be too disturbing to kill a child in the game.
I'm no lore master but what I've gathered is that Oceiros was desperate to make a suitable heir to link the first flame. when his first two sons turned out useless he turned to hideous experimentation to create a child of dragons, Ocelotte, thinking that would do the trick. But when the child died it blew away all hope he had left along with his sanity
I agree with you on Laurence 100%!!! And totally understand where you are coming from. I would have ranked him lower tbh :P but anyway, what i really wanna say, is thanks a lot for these videos! they are amazing, and I am really loving your channel more and more. Also, you are very interactive with the viewers, and that says something. Also, good to see you ;)
Nice to see that you agree on Laurence, but I don't mind when other viewers disagree. It makes for good discussion! Thanks for the kind words and support Jay, it's always appreciated :)
i heard of a theory for ocerios, where ocelot doesn't actually exist, but the baby crying and various sounds you hear are actually a product of crystal magic, which drives ocerios insane like it did Logan and Seath before him.
I find myself more and more excited as each new one of these come out. Looking forward to the point where you have more positive things to say then negative!
Love these videos/lists, and I agree with pretty much all the choices made. I'm not complaining about the video, I thought it was interesting to see such a different take on this one boss, Defiled Amygdala. I felt I had to comment on the 19/40 rating for entertainment value for this boss, I cant disagree more here. personally I felt that D.A was the worst designed boss in the series, not that it was overly difficult, just such a long boring right hacking away untill it finally dies. And since its random swipes can easily one shot you with the halfed health, you can die even when doing everything right. Bloodborne especially had bosses that you needed to really learn the moovesets to best them, but the random hit boxes here(like his stomping move) makes it just down to luck even after you've learned how to deal with the boss. Worth noting that I quite like the normall Nightmare Frontier version, with full health the fight seems much more fair. Rant over! Keep up the videos man!!
Regarding The One Reborn, not only do you not have to kill the crones, THIS VIDEO is how I learned that it's even possible to kill them, and I've beaten the boss twice. Both times I just used a beast blood pellet and got up close and personal. He's such an easy target that he went down before the witches could do any meaningful damage. What's even funnier is that his body makes great cover from the fireballs.
you know it would be cool if you make a ranking list of the most difficults npcs of souls series like you know old king doran, hawkwood, and the guy u fight at the end of eileen the crow quest i really think all those guys deserve some credit :D
Oceiros dabbled in the forbidden knowledge of Seathe the Scaleless in the quest of creating the perfect heir by combining human with dragons. The knowledge drove him mad and dillusional, and the foul magic eventually twisted his body into what you see before you. That is my theory at least.
Oceiros is carrying Ocelotte, but Ocelotte is invisable and Oceiros is blind, so he has no idea Ocelotte is supposed to be the almighty dragon and Oceiros expects Ocelotte to fight you... When you hear him scream "Aaaah, oceloooootte!!" He actually gets frustrated because ocelotte doesn't fight like he's supposed to
Ocelot is the baby he's cradling throughout the first phase of the fight (that's why you can hear a baby crying). Then in the second phase, he slams the baby into the floor and screams.
I honestly think that Osiris The Consumed King is actually a grown up Ocelot, and that the "Consumed" part of his name has to do with the fact that he killed and are his father. As for why he pretends to be his father, I think it's a coping mechanism to protect himself from the draconic instincts that lead to his father's death, but once you reduce him to half health, he gives into those instincts in a last ditch effort to keep himself from being liked by you.
Oceiros is actually holding a baby during the first half of the fight. Thats why you hear crying. It's just invisible. That's why he keeps telling it to show itself. Priscilla was born of dragons too and she can turn invisible. But during the second phase he loses the kid and goes into a rage. It's actually possible for you to kill the baby by stepping on it. You'll hear it scream.
If you go back to The consumed king boss fight and listen after he goes all fours on you, you can hear a baby crying in the background every now and then.
I hate you too.
Are you referring to O&S when you said "pitiable and memorable"?
+Cornel Belongie No, he's referring to Gwyndolin, whom Aldrich is in the process of devouring when you fight him.
Aldrich and Sulyvahn both got Gwyndolin killed, and possibly crossbreed priscilla (We don't know for sure, but the fact that you can transpose Lifehunt Scythe from him is a hint in either of two directions: Either, as the lore behind LH scythe states, he dreamt of priscilla, but to enough detail that he was able to mimic her Lifehunt, or he dreamt of her and then came for her in the Painted World, it is in Anor Londo after all...)
There's even a hint that aldrich devoured Nito as well (aldrich's music theme has some of nito's characteristics, he wields a magical Gravelord sword, and he has a nito-ish look below gwyndolin's body with all those hairs and skeletons poking out), but that seems unlikely, because nito was actually a required boss to kill in Dark Souls, so he shouldn't even be alive anymore...
My theory is that Ocelotte went and helped Big Boss create Outer Heaven.
I laughed so hard Xd
Makes sense, Ocelotte always struck me as a Patriot.
Guess that means Oceiros was behind everything.
Oceiros was Zero the whole time.
Hahaha. Yeah I laughed so hard as i fought the first time this boss. because i thought the same :D it has to be a conection to Outer Heaven :D hahahaha
I’ve heard the He’s Pretty Good
you should totally do the top ten most disgusting bosses, also top bullshit bosses because hearing you rage just talking about a boss is music to my ears
Oh god I don't know if I can stomach that list! And don't worry, no matter what video I make, I'll always find a reason to call out some BULLSHIT ;)
theDeModcracy And that bullshit... WAS SOLAIRE THE WHOLE TIME
\|T|/
+theDeModcracy Please make this happen!
still waiting for the top ten reasons why you love the word darkborne ;)
the lore with ocieros is he used to be the king of lothric but the queen had a miscarriage with their third child. consumed with grief he secluded himself in the grand archives searching for a way to save his dead kid. he found a book about the ancient dragons and their immortality, more specifically seath the scaleless so he began to experiment on himself wich is why he has a dragon appearance. he eventually became blind and insane imagining he saved the child he never had
Brady Albright I love dark souls lore. Prone to theories and always good with/without them
On a more meta note, Fromsoft originally textured him carrying a baby in his hand.
I think his difficulty is considered to be unfair so he's punted down the list.
Here's my guess on Oceiros, based on what I remember:
The members of the Lothric royal family were obsessed with creating the perfect heir through mixing the research hidden within the Grand Archives with their bloodline.
Of course, Ocelotte might end up being in DLC and totally undoing everything I just typed.
good theory (Y)
Where's Vaati when you need him?
He probably steals from reddit as we speak lol.
im going to hazard a guess: either still playing dark souls 3, or making sure he has a clear picture of the lore before he releases a video about it. i mean, half of the souls community seems to accept his word as law when it comes to lore, so he's gotta be REALLY sure of himself when he puts a video up. ..... damn i want more prepare to cry :(
Great theory and I for myself had a quite similiar theory. That's just my theory however, looking forward to when it may be cleared up one day.
oceiros is actually solid snake
ocelet? more like LIQUIIIIIIIID
I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to edit Ocelot's head from Metal Gear Solid in Oceiros hands...
+theDeModcracy That would've been...pretty good.
LOL, you still haven't answered my question... I did not finish the video yet so I will ask it once again. What are your thoughts on ''The Nameless King''?
How about you wait for him to actually GET to that part in the series of videos...
Wouldn't Oceiros be more like Big Boss as Ocelottes father?
Oceiros is actually one of my favorite bosses, I thought the fight was very good and it was cool that he talked to the player. Not the hardest fight but really fun in my opinion
Thing is, there's actually *better* bosses which talk to you. And now, after like, the release of Sekiro and Elden Ring, I can definitely say that: say Genichiro, Gael, Margit the Fell Omen, Gehrman talks to you too (it doesn't seem like it, but he does), and several others which I can't really think off the top of my mind.
Oceiros should be ranked higher.
I agree
no cause if you get from behind him every time he starts t oattack he just keep attacks forward specially on his
buff state.
Golden Foxy Not because of his AI, but because of the setting, the music, the lore and the overall atmosphere, I think it's a great boss.
I agree with that.
If something was fitting with this boss fight it was the voice acting, the music and the arena is remarkable!
+Golden Foxy the whole backstabbing Ocerios thing might have been the intended design due the description on the Dragonscale ring. Still it's a pretty shit design decision at that though.
he said living failures, and I was all like
"I didn't know I was a boss"
Say what you want about the failures, but the MUSIC IS FECCIN TOP TEIR
half of the comments are just people complaining about the difficulty score when In reality they just don't understand how it's being scored at all.
The lore ranking IS bullshit tho.
+Iraklis Pazios that's a score of how well the fight represented the lore, not how good the lore is itself.
Monkey D. Mihawk Exactly and it is bullshit cause Old Iron king is a horrible representation and Oceiros is a perfect one. So it is indeed bullshit.
+Iraklis Pazios opinion
Cameron Jordan I know it's got to do with opinion but just how hated can an opinion get before it's a bad one.
theDeModcracy just wanted to say thank you for continuing to make videos on a tight schedule; I check your channel daily for new Soulsborne/Darkborne/Darkblood w/e content because your enthusiasm and love for the series makes playing the games more enjoyable.
I always get fall control for Nito and Stray Demon regardless of build. It's not too much of an investment.
The more these lists grow the more I finding myself agreeing with you. Really enjoying your work!
+theDeModcracy so how the hell did demon of song get 6/10?
I think Oceiros should have got a 20/20 for lore. You have all the bosses before it 15/20 - 20/20 and there lore was crap compared to his.
Lore is how well the fight actually shows off the bosses lore, not the lore itself.
Oceiros in the fight definitely shows off the lore of a crazy old king obsessed with dragons with his running crazily everywhere.
Not to mention that it's said in an item description(I believe Hidden or Divine Blessing) that the Queen disappeared after giving birth to Ocelotte, and with how much he cares for her as shown via dialogue, there was something going on.
he iterally holds a non-existing baby in his hands because he went mad.
How could it show more his lore?
he wanted power, he became a dragon and mad.
He did say he did not know much about the lore, though. But I do agree with you.
Capra Demon entertainment 25/40? I would give it 10/40, barely
Step 1: Make an arcane build
Step 2: Equip Executioner's Gloves
Step 3: Target Amygdala's head
Step 4: Spam the following combination of buttons: Up, Triangle, Square, Square (Add an R1 whenever you get a visceral opening from getting the headshot)
Protip: I hope you're not lactose-intolerant, because it's time for *CHEEESE*!
His jump move does get annoying after a while, but at least it opens up his head for some extra damage
Laurence's design is lazy as fuck and cheap to fight against. It doesn't matter how good the lore is, he is an affront to what players should get out of a game: fun.
@@Knyex Laurence wasn't my fav, but I thought he was top 5 in BB
Hey man, just started getting into Souls games a few weeks ago, just banged out DS1 on NG and NG+ before getting DS3. Gotta say that your videos played a huuuge part in me getting way into souls. So, thanks!
here
So many of you have probably beaten the optional boss fight "Oceiros, the consumed king" and you probably noticed he would not shut up about Ocelot. Thoughts?
btw i love u democracy
Damn son that is a twisted theory. I love it!
Damn I just beat that boss today an honestly this makes a lot of sense.
Great theory , but I believe oceiros is angry at humans in general , because ocelote don't even tries to do some stealth stuff to help his father , well the DLC will clear things up.
i guess your right
Definitely one of the better boss lists I've had the pleasure of watching recently.
Awesome to hear I can capture both vibes at the same time. Always want to be laid back but also be informative, so I'll work to keep it up!
'if it's easy as shit, it'll rank lower'
see, he gave laurence a 0 though. that boss is insanely difficult. no boss in that game pissed me off more than him. even orphan of kos who is way stronger was at least fun as hell to fight and a great challenge to overcome. laurence is just artificial difficulty cranked up to 11.
i think his scale makes more sense if you consider 0 to mean that it's so bad it's not at all enjoyable. so, laurence is such a bs fight that he's deserving of 0/10 since the difficulty is unrealistic
Matt well if you read my text again i said really hard but unfair fights get really low scores, thats what laurence is
Matt my exact words were if the fight is hard and bull shit (meaning unfair) then it gets a low score
I liked The "other" King Allant fight. My first thought was that I was going against a Devil May Cry boss with my Demon's Souls guy.
3 Bloodborne bosses in the top 5, unlikely, atleast one of them will make it in though (probably Gehrman)
you can throw bombs to skip. I'm sure lots have done that.
The only thing Capra demon teaches you is that dogs in soulsborne are pieces of obnoxious garbage.
Capra demon
Difficulty: 0 out of 10 ?
wat ? you lost me right there
that has got to be a mistake
basically how proper the difficulty is made. so if its hard but fair, it gets a 10. for me, capra wasnt that hard, but i guess alot of people dont agree
i know right what the fuck?
The Capra demon is only hard because of the tight space and the dogs. The actual boss itself is retardedly easy.
...please watch the second video
0/10 means the boss is unfair difficult (like capra demon; it's only difficult because of the tight space)
10/10 means the boss is difficult but the difficult is fair or it ties with the lore (like the ancient dragon being unfair because it makes sense lorewise or some bosses that feel difficult but achievable and not bullshity)
Opened up RUclips hoping i would find a good video and boom democracy! Thank God!
Happy I could deliver just in time Jukeezz!
0/10 difficulty for laurence?!! are you high?? that boss is broken.
Seriously. That alone makes me not look forward to ANYTHING else going into this list. That fight alone is the top 25.
The fact that he says "1 hits you" as well, maybe forgot to edit that bit
He said in the first video that the difficulty was to represent if it was accurate to that point in the game. Like the ancient dragon got a ten because it represents it's lore in terms of difficulty and was optional.
Ah i see
+eazy player on ng+ 4 and above he oneshots no matter how much health you have
Ocelot is a halfbreed like Pricilla and is invisible, he is actually holding him during the fight which is made more horrifying by the fact that Ocireos slams his hand that was curled down on the ground while screaming his name like he is pissed signifying that he just murdered his infant child out of anger and that caused him to go full berserk.
When I heard Oceiros (Oreoes?) scream,
"OCELOT!!!"
My immediate reaction was to yell:
"SNAAAAAAKE!"
Best series ever i get so hyped when you upload dude great job!
I don't get your argumentation behind some of the bosses. "This one can easily 1- or 2-hit you..." - "Difficulty 0/10".... What?
Ugh... The dificulty is not interesting, that what he means
It's more like "This boss is a fair but challenging fight. 10/10" "This boss can nearly one shot you making it very unbalanced. 0/10"
If a boss was better for being unfair, that would make 0 sense.
Come on now
Ty for mentioning the voice acting for #86, I love that fight because of that reason
Nito's design is waaaay better than 10 out of 30. He looks badass!!! Definitely an underwelming fight, but his design is awesome.
Thanks for the long-term support Issac and I'm glad your enjoying the current videos! :)
Yea. Really love all of the strobo lights and the party skelettons. He is a true party animal ;)
You reached 50k subs! Congrats!
With this quality content I'm sure you'll reach 100k in no time ;)
Looking forward for your next video :)
+DarkWoLF he scores design based on boss mechanics
Not Beneth yeah that's what I said. He scores it depending on the entire boss area. The bosses moveset, crowd control, etc.
It's more of "battle design" than area or boss visual design.
The Dragonscale ring says a lot about Oceiros:
"Ring of Oceiros, former king of Lothric. Reduces damage from backstabs.
In his later years, Oceiros became fascinated with dragons.
After going mad, he was more commonly known as the Consumed King. Many
assassins were dispatched to his domain, but none returned.
The Consumed King ascribed his resilience to the divine protection of the dragon scale."
Ancient Dragon: 1-shots you, has a ton of health, 10/10 Difficulty
Defiled Amygdala: 1-shots you, has a ton of health, 0/10 Difficulty
Ummmmmm
Lore has literally nothing to do with what I was saying. I'm referring to gameplay.
+CoBeX31 pay attention. He said it's justified that he can one shot you because he's an ancient dragon. Not justified or fair for the other
CoBeX31 but he was basing it around lore
+BlckTgr yes there is amygdala is a great one meaning it's God.
It's interesting how quite a few of these bosses have really good music. Some of the best in all the games imo, such as Laurence that last Vicar and living failures song
Oceiros is gold mine of lore! Why aint his lore 20
To sum up the Old Iron King: A boss with lore so deep, so tragic, and yet the fight sucks if you lack fire resistance, patience, and damage
Maybe I don't understand how difficulty is rated but I disagree with Laurence being a 0
I disagree with guardian dragon being a 10
I was wondering too - maybe 40 is perfectly balanced and 0 = too easy/hard??
difficulty is based on how fair/cheap the fight is. If the boss one shots you and has a ton of health, that's not very fair.
I'm not sure if someone has already said it, but I've heard some stuff about what Oceiros can be:
From what I've heard he was one of the kings of Lothric (Not sure if he is the Twin Princes' father or not) who became obsessed with mimicking or becoming like Seath the Scaleless.
When you were explaining the lore behind the Fool's Idol I couldn't help but think "Yes, but why is she carrying a French bread?"
ITS CALLED A BAGUETTE YOU FILTHY CASUL
Alex Rigney
Yes, I know. Well done.
So what was up with Lawrence and Amygdala having a 0 difficulty rating? Capra too but he's more artificial difficulty.
Difficulty scores are based on the fairness and if it makes sense in the context of the fight, not actual difficulty
Can't wait until the higher numbers like the top 20! Keep up the great work by the way!
I'm excited for it too Angel. I've got a lot of gushing to do after all this BULLSHIT! And thank you :)
Did you just say sir Alone? Nope I'm done.
Ocelotte is actually an invisible crossbreed. That's why you can hear the baby crying even after Oceiros slams him into the ground.
If artoios isn't #1 many tears will shed
Don't worry i'll be in 10 to 1 , that's confirmed.
yup, or atleast top 3
No, I will.
He's number 2.
@@TheUglySlug666 peter bone? Youre a boss? Is there a refrence I dont get?
I believe the lore with Oceiros is that he consumed his child, Ocelotte, in order to gain more power. Wracked with grief, Oceiros went insane and convinced himself that Ocelotte was just hiding from him. The sounds that "Ocelotte" makes during the fight are actually spells created by Oceiros as he was going insae to keep the illusion that Ocelotte was still alive.
Wrong
Well, don't leave people hanging by just telling everyone they're wrong. What's your interpretation?
+Michael Savides well what's right then?
When I faced Neto I stayed in the part of the room you drop into. Only the little skeletons attacked me and Neto was easy.
How the fuck is Laurence a 0/10 difficulty?
I'm scoring difficulty based on the fairness of it and if it's good in the context of the fight, not how hard it actually is.
Yeah
You should clarify this in the next video
Difficulty is measured by "Oh this is a challenge for the area but not unfair to me" instead of just how hard it is to kill
You are literally the best RUclipsr around. Keep up the great work!
That's high praise Kenneth. I'll keep working hard to meet it!
laurence 0 difficulty?
RatedRyman its based on fairness not actual strength of the boss.
After Oceiros does this you can't hear the crying anymore.
no way you have Lawerence's difficulty at 0 out of 10. just no way.
+Jamm3z133 Laurence is hard but fair...
I hate Laurence. Exspecialy in NG+
I thought it was fair. Its supposed to be a super late game optional boss in the optional area. Of course its gonna be hard!
This would tie in very well with the theme of phase 2: him killing his baby would coincide very well with the outbreak of his more animalistic nature and his loss of the last bit of humanity he had left.
hey demodcracy, do u like dank maymays?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
theDeModcracy NICO NICO NEE
theDeModcracy did you get it
lol I don't think I'm familiar with that one
you should make a top ten dank meme video based purely on your opinion
very much enjoying these vids dude! well done
0/10 difficulty for the First Vicar? Clearly you never tried on NG+7. He's an absolute nightmare to deal with. I get that these are your personal opinions, but there could be some clarification on why/how you feel the way you do.
Hey, he gave to the Ancient Dragon 10/10, so expect things like that
the score for the difficulty isn't based on how difficult the fight is, it's based on how well designed the fight is. So as an example: bed of chaos got a score of 0/10 for difficulty, not because the fight is easy, but because it's just straight up bad designed, frustrating and unfair.
then what is the design score for xD
+Wouter van den Broek ...and he gave the Ancient Dragon 10/10. That is bullsh*t
Thats what every category is ranked on.
I like the Capra demon, I mean I did beat it on my third try but still. People rage that the area is too small, but I like that. It forces you to mind where you are, and I like how the way you fight the boss completely changes once you kill the two dogs.
your yells sound like you're trying to keep your voice down but still sound loud because your parents are sleeping
stop
Or is trying to not ramp up the volume in a video by yelling top of lungs like a lot of annoying youtubers do. It's annoying as balls to have to turn the volume down, mid video, because the person decides to start yelling.
So are you though. The fact you even care so much to comment about it is "cringy."
+Robbi Irvine Oh wow so having a complaint is cringy? so you replying to me in any form is cringy.
You're an idiot
You upload these in a positively surprising pace.
I'm glad you're content with the upload pace. I'm working very hard to get them out in a timely manner!
theDeModcracy
I could never get videos like these done so quickly. One per month is probably the fastest I could make these.
Nice work dude, its awesome! Cant wait until the final 10 bosses
Thanks Jonas, I can't wait either!
I've gone back and watched like 50 of ur vids lol. I've been waiting for this one all week
That's awesome Cory!! I'm glad you're enjoying the channel so much :)
i heard of a theory for ocerios, where ocelot doesn't actually exist, but the baby crying and various sounds you hear are actually a product of crystal magic, which drives ocerios insane like it did Logan and Seath before him.
I find myself more and more excited as each new one of these come out. Looking forward to the point where you have more positive things to say then negative!
6:10 you broke my heart into a bunch of little pieces ;-;
and still no Adjudicator I am legit shocked lmao
I'm debating whether or not to include NPCs like this in a "hardest enemies" list or to make it a separate one entirely...
This Channel is going to grow so much
Oceiros dabbled in the forbidden knowledge of Seathe the Scaleless in the quest of creating the perfect heir by combining human with dragons.
The knowledge drove him mad and dillusional, and the foul magic eventually twisted his body into what you see before you.
That is my theory at least.
The way he describes Laurence is the way I make all my Soulsborne builds lol.
Oceiros is carrying Ocelotte, but Ocelotte is invisable and Oceiros is blind, so he has no idea
Ocelotte is supposed to be the almighty dragon and Oceiros expects Ocelotte to fight you...
I don't think I'll ever recover from the scarring the unused Oceiros audio gave me
I honestly think that Osiris The Consumed King is actually a grown up Ocelot, and that the "Consumed" part of his name has to do with the fact that he killed and are his father.
