So I’m honestly pretty sure the song was originally about her ex but I’m not too sure about that. When she first teased the song she said it was about her mom who is very much alive. She made the song a little while back. Announced it weeks ago. Cooper was her best fiend. Like a brother to her. He struggled w addiction since he was 9. When he was 17 he had his second o/d and almost didn’t make it. That was in October 2020. He relapsed after that o/d then went cold turkey and remained sober. He had a falling out w his best friend jaden who is also nessas ex (who this song might have been about originally) and he and his gf broke up but remained friends. They were together from October 2020 to April 2022. After that breakup it seemed he may have relapsed and the last week of his life I think it was pretty obvious something was wrong. He was a famous tik toker as well. Nessa and Jaden were originally tik tokers who got famous and then started music careers and cooper was their friend. Cooper was 19 and died on June 9th. This song was his favorite from her upcoming album and she dedicated it to him after he died. His birthday is June 28th and Jaden is releasing music for him as well. The autopsy is not back yet so there’s no confirmation on how he died but it’s suspected and most likely drugs.
