I never really realized staraptors role in Paula story, that’s actually pretty cool and a nice connection! I agree staraptor could’ve used a little more development but I still think it was one of ash’s best sinnoh Pokémon. I wonder which of ash’s birds are the strongest?
It depends on what you think “strongest” Jack of all trades? Probably Swellow. Sheer power: probably staraptor or Hawlucha Cleverness and intelligence: noctowl. Speed: probably Swellow talonflame or Pidgeot? Luck: Rowlet 🥴
I love how much of an impact Paul had on Ash's team. he's vital to Torterra, Infernape, Staraptor & Gliscor's storyline. He also has a big impact on Buizel, but not as memorable (beating him with ursaring and chastisting Ash for entering the Wallace Cup)
Staravia: "Why won't you pick me for fighting Roark!?" (shows alternate universe where it gets picked: is one shot by any of Roark's team) Ash: "That's why. Now pull yourself together, I need you for Gardenia." xD
I've only just discovered your channel and I must say your work is great. I am curious, though. Is there any chance you could extend these kind of videos to more than just the anime? Perhaps the Pokemon Adventures manga? I know I'd enjoy videos on Red's Poliwrath, Pikachu and Gyarados or X's Kangaskhan. Just a thought.
To differentiate Staraptor from Swellow, maybe its evolution episode could’ve been that it meets other Staravia who are serious & vain, like the pokédex says. They evolve, but Staravia isn’t and they blame that on his “weak” personality. He’s down in the dumps but after a talk with Ash & his friends, Pikachu’s tales of other silly yet strong pokémon (like Muk), and a Team Rocket kidnapping attempt, he saves the staraptor group & evolves himself, only he learns both close combat & sky attack(instead of brave bird). At the end, the wild birds would accept his personality & wish him well, and for the rest of the series Staraptor would look intimidating but reveal his real personality quickly.
Im not even that into Pokemon, anime, games and what not. But I do enjoy the story of Ash's Pokemon, it's cool to revisit something you loved as a kid :)
Honestly, I'm all about it for the storylines themselves. I like the episodes, but I think it's fun to break down (what can potentially be hundreds of appearances) into a succinct storyline that cuts out everything but the meat. I used to read Wikipedia all the time when younger for the same reason
@@ProfessorAlexSilver Yeah I agree. It is nice to see what happend to a character you really cared for as a kid. Like even as an adult they have a small spot in your nostalgic heart. I love ash's starly it not just an cute bird pokemon but its also strong and the fact it fully evolve into staraptor makes one of the strongest pokemon that ash caught 😍😍😍
Definitely a powerhouse :)
I never really realized staraptors role in Paula story, that’s actually pretty cool and a nice connection! I agree staraptor could’ve used a little more development but I still think it was one of ash’s best sinnoh Pokémon. I wonder which of ash’s birds are the strongest?
It depends on what you think “strongest”
Jack of all trades? Probably Swellow.
Sheer power: probably staraptor or Hawlucha
Cleverness and intelligence: noctowl.
Speed: probably Swellow talonflame or Pidgeot?
Luck: Rowlet 🥴
@@Lonewulf321 "luck: Rowlet" definitely 🤣🤣
@@TheTobiasburton4 he’s cute but my boy got too many lucky wins
I love how much of an impact Paul had on Ash's team. he's vital to Torterra, Infernape, Staraptor & Gliscor's storyline. He also has a big impact on Buizel, but not as memorable (beating him with ursaring and chastisting Ash for entering the Wallace Cup)
Alright decent video i am gonna sub
Nice! More decent vids to come :)
FINALLY.. strange why have you been posting these recent videos at night lately
Weekdays at night (since I work). Mornings on weekends are easier ha
Every RUclipsr loves squarespace nowadays 😂
Ash’s snorlax got his turn who will be next
That we do! It's a great platform :)
I know I’m late but yessir you finally did it
Late to the reply ,but thanks!
I remember staraptor as ash’s strongest regional bird yet
Swellow pretty dope too :)
Another amazing video your videos make me love Pokémon even more
Happy to hear that!
More for others
My favorite flying type pokemon. Thank you for covering him Professor 😊
My pleasure!
This is true to love
Honchkrow may not have the stats but it’s still my favorite bird type Pokémon of all time.
I love its design. I wish Ash had one
Staravia: "Why won't you pick me for fighting Roark!?"
(shows alternate universe where it gets picked: is one shot by any of Roark's team)
Ash: "That's why. Now pull yourself together, I need you for Gardenia." xD
Ultra class battles should like this
hahah
Staraptor is my favorite flying type Pokémon! Ash showed how powerful it is :)
Good choice :)
if you pause 8:19 even tho gastrodon is using the counter shield staraptor can still use a move since it can fly through the centre of the shield
Next Jessie’s woobat
Thanks! Most definitely in the future I'd like to cover adventures. It rocks
Shout out to Paul's brother for mentoring Ash, that and his win record
I think you should do corphish or buizel next cause i think they are pretty strong for not being evolved
They will soon
I hope to cover both of them in the near future
Although I prefer Honchkrow and well aware that the Pokeringer episode solidified Ash's Staraptor as a Swellow clone, Staraptor is still cool.
Staraptor the best final stage bird Pokémon
Hot take! 🔥
Would've been cool!
Oh man, I used to do the same with Warcraft lore when I was younger. Spending hours on the wiki to learn all the small juicy details.
Sadly I no longer care for Warcraft, since the lore I used to love got changed, for something worse imo.
@@ProfessorAlexSilver Also thank you for making these video's, they are really well made and I want to see more :)
I thought fondly of Staraptor. I nicknamed mine Starbucks 😅
Staravia dancing is hilarious
🤣🤣
One of the best professors out there 👍
😊
Ash and Serena will make a perfect poke fan family
We need more of these !! For all of Ash's Pokemon
Working on em :)
Ash’s scraggy
