Introduction to EDU4Standards: Pioneering Standardisation Education in Europe webinar is just ended!
Together with our panellists, we officially presented the EDU4Standards.eu project to a wider audience, six months after its kick-off this year.
Starting with an overview of standardisation and its role in the High-Level Forum on European Standardisation, Gabriella Sestini delved into the pillars of the European Standardisation Strategy and Knut Blind, the coordinator of the project, on the project's objectives.
Vladislav Fomin, from Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University, further discussed the state of the art of education, focusing on innovative teaching concepts of standardisation, identifying issues, and the proposed solutions.
To foster discussion, we dedicated part of the webinar to a panel discussion with experts: Elisabeth Staudegger (Universität Graz), Anna Gallet (ISO), Claire d'Esclercs (ETSI), and Uwe Rueddenklau (Infineon).
Lastly, Kirsten Glennung from CEN and CENELEC introduced and explained one of the project's main outputs: the Academic Standardisation Days, covering their definition, current status, and organisational plans.
