Many in Ireland will remember Ballyfin as a boys' boarding school. It has been beautifully restored and I'm sure that many past pupils would take today's luxury bedrooms over their former dormitories!

I've seen/visited some really beautiful places in Europe but this one is stunningly beautiful. I particularly like the use of colors in the gorgeous public spaces and the furniture arrangement which looks somehow different, at least in my view. The expression in your face when Nathan took the wheel of the golf cart and drove like a mad man around was priceless Nicolas 😄! You guys are doing a fantastic job. As for me and this place, I want to move in tomorrow!!

This must be one of the loveliest videos you have ever made. Nathan you were a wild child driving that golf buggy 😂😂. Every room was spectacular and had a refined elegance. What a wonderful layout of all the furniture in each room. The cottage was also glorious.

The saloon has that Downton Abbey feel for sure, but when you show the view of the home from across the lake it reminds me of Mr Darcy’s home in Pride and Prejudice. The care that they took in every detail of the restoration is just lovely. Thank you both so much.

This visit is just amazing! Thank you so much for taking us. Loved the staircase and the gold room in the main house. And the gardener’s cottage! Right up my alley! Love the larger sized bedrooms where you can fit an armchair in for a cozy reading spot.

I watched a documentary on the restoration of castle and how everything was moved out and stored. The huge art work had to be taken down and moved and it was quite an engineering challenge.

Lovely upload. The Late Georgians knew how to combine a classical look while living in a northern climate. You could almost imagine the Coote family were still in residence, but with modern lighting and bathrooms. Congratulations to everyone who played a part in its restoration and tasteful updating. The lamps in the bedroom of the cottage are not unlike your new ones in your dining room…there is a Downton feel about the place alright. As I said to you a few times, Ashford Castle in the west of Ireland is a must for both of you… it’s special too.. safe travels to Switzerland, it will be so Christmassy!!! All the best.
