in case ya wondering, "per aspera ad inferi" basically means "through hardships to/towards hell" (turns out choosing gcse latin was worth it)
Well I have seen "ad inferi per aspera" written somewhere in Outlast 2.
@@eminkilicaslan8945 Yeah its basically a play on that phrase. the original is Triumph/ the stars instead of hell. Depends wether its astra or aspera at the end if im not mistaken and im not sure wich is wich Pretty neat detail

This song is catastrophically underrated. It's easily one of my top 10 Ghost songs, and i really wish more people listened to it because its so, for lack of a better term, delicious. So dark but yet so heavenly.

Infestissumam their best album. I love this song. The riff is so great
Problem with Infestissumam is that the mixing is a bit off, but I'd say it's the second best album after Prequelle

I actually really enjoy the way the album is mixed. It is unusual and I can see how people can be annoyed by it, but it just makes it special and unique in sound for me.
I just got their first, I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. After Infestissumam and Meliora, it seemed a bit paltry.
The vocals are nothing short of delicious.

Hmm, this is the first time I'm listening to this band and when the music started playing, I expected either some nice raspy voice or some death growls. Don't really like clean male vocals in metal. Although, if it sounded more like church singing blended with metal, that might be pretty cool.

The first time I heard this was at rock on the range in Columbus Ohio. I had never heard of ghost they were playing on a side stage outside the main stadium. Again this was 2013

Some say.. to this day he's still waiting on his album to arive.
Almost BoC ish on the the vocals. This is up there with Year Zero and Miasma as my favorite Ghost songs. Per aspera ad astra is kind of a positive motto....your hardships today will have a payoff ultimately. I prefer this saying as if you go through life expecting to be rewarded for your hardships you will be in for disappointments. Best to just expect more hardships, anything good will then be a bonus.
