Todd Snider is the national treasure not nearly enough people know about.
This is how I imagine hearing him, in some reality in which we know one another. One of my favorite Neil Young songs, just T casually playing and singing, me trying to sing harmony in key. So grateful for whatever glimpses we get of Todd, his talent, and his heart. Much love to you, Todd Snider! 💜
I can see the miles traveled in your face, I hear in your voice, a soulful sound of many life experiences, that only comes with the pain and joy of the journey, beautiful man.....
In Todd's case I think it would be more like hear the miles and see it in his voice .
Forever a student of life for sure. If Todd plays within 100 miles of wherever I am I make sure to be there.

Man I'm finally going to be able to see you in person when you come to Bonita Springs in Oct. You're in me man. Singing my life and reminding me of fucking grateful l am to be living it. Long time ago a guy who knew me well told me my dream had to be bigger than my fear. I wrote that down because I felt it would be something I'd need to remind myself of on a regular basis. Still have that old piece of paper. Just don't need the reminding as often as I once did. And with your music in my life I can smile. Don't matter if I'm happy or sad or whatever that middle place is. I can still smile listening to you on your journey. Thank you Todd. Thank you.

Todd has been the same for many years. He's not going anywhere. Seeing him with Prine this summer, woohoo.
He looks healthier now than he did a year or two ago. He's getting old, but he doesnt look sick anymore. I was actually pleasantly surprised by his appearance.
