Bhaiya maine abhi web development (frontend) start kia hai.... and wanted to be a Full Stack developer........lekin hal hi mai maine aek video dekha hai ki kuch kuch software hai jaha pe aap design dal do to pura website banake deta hai.....aaj se 3-4 sal bad kya web developer ka future hoga? Kya web developer ka future secure hai jisne abhi sikhna start kia hai?
This is true to some extent, that some jobs are in danger . "Low Code" and "No Code" tools search kr skte ho google pe. Already ye sab impact kr rha hai industry ko. If you are good in programming, or want to be a coder, or want to remain for many years in this industry - there is no issue. Good programmers are always in demand, and experienced developer are less. But, if only for quick money purpose you are considering this (full stack) - it might be not as easy. Because, many people are jumping in this field. Please be in this industry of 2-3 years and learn every day, then will reward you.
Simple jobs like - Designing websites will not be a job in few years.
Still coding jobs are good, because which other jobs are that well paying, I can't think of many ??

I am a self-taught developer from non-CS background. I have pretty good knowledge of frontend (including React) and basic knowledge of Node backend. I am thinking to apply for job as a React developer. I am in fear now. What should I do?
Hi, There is NO need of fear. React and Node jobs are still Hot. And you can have at-least 3-4 years of good run. Industry always changes (in 2016 Angular was no.1 frontend thing, many developer learnt it, then react became popular). You will easily learn new things in 3-4 years from now. AI is helpful for developers atleast in initial years.
I am copying a reply to other user, for more detail :
First thing. AI is not that advanced right now, in video also we found it to be only good with small set of instructions. Small problems already available on Stackoverflow etc. So AI didn't solve anything big here.
Second thing. Developer jobs will be one of the last things to be automated. Because it has logic + integrations. Integrating different system and debugging is not easy thing. Jobs which are in danger are non-complex jobs like web designing, photoshop layout to website design conversion, simple data jobs, documentation jobs, cheap blogging stuff, simple video editing. These jobs are in danger but coders are safe for a long time.
Also using AI tools etc. will also be done by coders mostly.
Last thing. Learn web development as a programming skills, which will be required in some or other form in many jobs in future.
I have seen many trends come and go in last decade, coders are always in advantage.
What are you thinking about to learn ai with js.I think we should change according to it and learn something new .
Yes in JS also lots of interesting ML related library are there. For a learner and smart developers - There will be work for a long time. AI will be only dangerous for copy paste level workers.

I think We should focus on AI and Machine learning , to grow up because in next some years AI will definetly replace web developer..
Yes we should, Just to be clear we shouldn't be learning AI/ML core (actual Algos) as they are more of research field and require advance maths etc (Only for deep researchers). We can use it via APIs, Libraries and improve the products/ apps we are making. Also basic terminologies like Training a Model, Neural network Layers etc can be interesting

i tried but some its response very different and we can't do work with chatgpt by our own choice
Yes, its not upto the mark right now. one has to type a lot of instructions to get things done

For sure web developers who just copy paste from stack overflow or have no deep understanding jobs are in danger but not right now. In like 5 years. Best strategy is to learn concepts of web development. As tech will be changing. Also don’t learn easy things like CSS designing etc. they will be automated. Video editor job, designer jobs, data base jobs are in more danger than web developer.
@@coderdost this is terrible advice. Every web developer should know CSS, even if it’s can be partially automated, you’ll still need to understand it to build upon what an AI produces.
@Blackmamba Seems terrible but its correct. Also its not a personal opinion - it comes from an experience of many developers. I have mentored 100s of developer. Many of them are now working on a 30L-50L package(3-5 year of Frontend Dev). And I remember how bad their CSS is, couldn't Center simple things. But reality is No one wants CSS to be written by you if you know JS, React JS and have good understanding of web concepts.
On the other hand I have trained many people who are good CSS designers (5-10 yr experience). And they just want to learn front-end development (JS, React JS) so they can have a good package of 10L+.
Personally I am a CSS fan, and hated when ppl didn't know basics of CSS. But my eyes are now open - Most developers who I personally know don't write CSS and many don't even know.
Also, I mentioned not to learn 'CSS designing' which is a design thing. Not "CSS basics'.
Time is changing fast there is no time to learn things AI can do

Around 10 in industry. But with many roles. Developer, manager, recruiter, mentor, startups. Also I worked on diff tech so no fixed technology

SO says most of chatGPT answers are wrong that’s why they don’t want those answers 🤔 denial?
chatGPT is providing seemingly right answers. Which are very close to correct but not 100% correct. This can create lot of fake knowledge on Stack Overflow. So they are avoiding it. Also any developer with no knowledge can answer complex questions by Copy pasting - so StackOverflow members ranking will also hurt.

I think react don't have many concepts. It has very few concepts compared to other technologies.
There are 10-15 react concepts - Components, Props, Rendering, State, important Hooks , DOM and virtual DOM, Basic Knowledge of APIs (fetch and axios) only these are important.
After that all you need is good JavaScript programming knowledge - which is a longer task than learning React. [ Async JavaScript, Higher order functions, de-structuring, Objects and Arrays fundamentals, Class etc]
Also starting on a project small or big is very important to get a good understanding.

I think starting with ReactJS is good. It has lots of jobs right now. Full Stack will be longer task. Also full stack has less jobs (they are mostly senior jobs, so less). I think better not to wait to be fullStack. Jump into react, learn with Job. More work experience is always better. Learning with job is not that difficult. All the best ✌️
