I visited Mongolia with my husband who is Australian last summer - and the hostility we got was quite full on. Every time we stepped foot outdoors - we got glares, or wide-eyed stares. We honestly felt safer travelling when I was alone, or he was alone. Not looking forward to that if/when we go back.
I just discovered your channel and I love it. I'm canadian and my boyfriend is mongolian ! People are usually nice and happy for him (yhea, he got the white as a glass of milk blue eyes canadian girl!). Not gonna lie, not trying to brag, but he's quite handsome and the only negative things I heard was from some of his female friends, and it was snarky comments like i'm not that pretty or he must love me for my money and things like that. But he told me when we started to date that I would get lots of women enemies (LOL) because many had a crush on him 😂The guys are very kind and protective and kinda adopted me like a little sister. I also had 2 of his (female) friends (from the city) cornering me (on 2 different occasions) and asking me for money because it seems like city peoples just assume I'm a stupid foreigner with lots of money to spend. Countryside people were so welcoming and kind tho.

I think the younger generation don’t care. (They have no problem with it). 13% of all yearly marriages are interracial couples. 5 to 8% of all babies born are from mixed race couples. I think the super old conservative people may have a problem. But I don’t know for sure. In USA that how it is. Generally the old conservative group have a problem. But that is because of history and them growing up during the time of segregation. But, overall I think the younger generation is more open to it. The the society is changing to reflect those views and statistics.

I will objectively say that black people in general don’t care about interracial dating. A lot of the “hate” comes from online sect/ fake outrage groups on social media. This is nowhere near the majority. It’s more common for Korean/Asian people to be racist/prejudice in real life towards black people or people outside of their race/culture when it comes to interracial dating. I’m also willing to bet that’s why she brought the white dude home to Mongolia before you. I’m not even trying to be a dick or anything. But you 2 have a higher chance of being mistreated in a bigger way since you are black. Being white still gets you a pass in a lot of places. She was probably scared from a safety perspective for the both of y’all. Obviously everything seems to have worked out for the most part. But that’s still an unfortunate reality But great video and y’all are a good couple. I wish y’all nothing but the best and y’all seem like genuinely nice people!
