World's Fastest Roller Coaster Concept - The WHEEL MELTER 3000 - NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulator

  • So, here's a little context as to what this coaster is. Simply put, its a little idea I had that would break the current roller coaster speed record as of 2023 ( Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's Formula Rossa - 149.1 MPH). Most of the worlds fastest coasters all have one thing in common - a super fast launch into a super tall hill. My idea behind this ride was to utilize terrain to launch trains into a drop. This increases the speed even further than what the train was launched at. The train reaches roughly 156 MPH at the end of the launch (max section speed in NL2), then traverses a 200' drop into a tunnel. This is where the train hits its max speed of 171.5 MPH.
As you can probably tell, this is nothing more than a proof of concept. This is why there is no scenery and the supports of the ride are mostly pre-fab supports. I do plan on making a more detailed version of this ride now that I know that the layout actually works. This would likely include windshields added to the train, significantly beefier support structures, improvements to hourly capacity, and a possibly more dynamic layout.
Obviously, this isn't the most "realistic" coaster I've made. I never intended for it to be. Would this possibly work in real life? maybe. Would it be safe? Sure. Would it be comfortable? Probably not.
This coaster is not available for download. Though the finished project certainly will be :)

The worst part is that this looks More realistic than falcon's flight

I think their choice in animation really played a part in that. They made it look like something straight from a mobile phone coaster game. It would probably be more believable had they used a traditional animation style.

@@AMCustomCoasters So that 500-foot (152.4m) proposed spike that is going onto TTD wouldn't last long as a record then? I mean Cedar Point has that planned as the refresh for TTD. I really hope that isn't the only thing that happens to the coaster as i could see a 310-foot (94.5m) Zero-G roll working as well. I mean, why not have the inversion height record as well? That would DEMOLISH Steel Curtain's 197-foot (60m) high roll by 113 feet (34.4m) AND it would be the same height as Millennium Force's main lift hill. Just think of being upside down that high off of the ground. That would be pretty insane if you ask me.
