I just got my first gold level warthog today and I’m fixing to mount him and it’s 6:57 when I am mounting it. And I just want to say thanks you’ve taught me a lot on how to hunt in this game. And if it wasn’t for you I’d still be out there just shooting the gun and wasting ammo.

Yup. They are so hard to find!
You can’t use 10ga slugs on lvl 4 animals. However, you can use 12Ga slugs. But I don’t have them unlocked 😆

I finally played the Africa map and found a heard of those gemsbok right away...picked the biggest one out of the bunch not knowing what max weight was or what even was a high scoring one and the one I shot ended up being .1 away from diamond. Other than that awesome start to Africa I have noticed I am not finding near as many animals and can literally walk around for what seems likes 10 minutes and not see anything. For how open it is with the large plains I thought itd be more like silver ridge peak with its open meadows and full of animals.
Two days ago I was doing quests in Parque Fernando and one buffalo knocked me down. I grabbed the Miller 1891 with 10 gauge slugs and blasted every buffalo on my way 🐃

Yet another reason I love the portable tripod hunting stands. I've had groups of Cape buffalo and Warthogs swarming the base of one while I'm safely sitting up in it. 😁

I got a gold leusistic Cape Buffalo ,A gold gold fur wildebeast and a diamond kudu of 34.4 today
And got something even more rare in another game ! bin my lucky day!!!
Btw im also disapointed with the 10 gauge buckshot penetration and also with the slugs when you going for cap buff you really need a side shot with 0 angle else it wont pen the lung.
And anything smaller i miss..... or hit to high with 10 gauge sluggs .
i rather go with the 12 gauge with a scope better aim(thanx to scope)and about same pen.

So the savannah is definitely the most fun reserve I've been to! (Just got the dlc yesterday)
Im definitely enjoying the added tension in knowing there are deadly animals around.
Been attacked by cape buffalos, warthogs, and stalked by lion.
I wish they would buff some of the animals from Layton lakes and other reserves to do more damage and add a bleed effect.
Bears and moose should probably one shot you, if you survive you will be bleeding and have to use a first aid kit.
DD ur amazing at this game ! I got a gold moose yesterday and his antlers are huge! It was my first big gold . I saw a great one elk but he spooked but I know he is in the area

I shot my first Gold yesterday here is the story one of the missions in the Yukon Valley is to kill a wolf I click to start the mission and thought no more about it roming around the map and shooting anything I found, I came up to the side of the lake and could see two of Wolves there I made a good shot on one and got an instant kill the next had a good run on me before I sighted up and made a long distance shot hitting the rear of the animal .... mission complete moving on shooting a few more animals and feeling good the next thing I know is a full pack of Wolves are around me, one up real close it hair stood up like the main of a lion teeth snarling at me I shot and he was dead but soon another came rushing at me dame my rifel was empty I changed over to my air rifel 45 and put a round in, the Wolf rolled over but was soon up and rushing at me another round hit and he was dead the last two ran away, I came to look at this Wolf and it was a gold my first Gold how exiting and crazy a story for my first gold kill...one I will never forget!

Hey dd i like your vids and you didn't kill the right hog, when it was attacking you and you spotted it it was a 3 with wide tusks not almost touching, so you still need revenge on the 3, check the beginning when it shows it attacking you.
