This iteration of zombies feels so difficult. Idk if it’s because you’re supposed to have all augments unlocked but holy shit. Going into a game with no special gums, spending points on armor with how little points there are, how crucial headshots are for damage, it seems so much harder than past zombies games. Like round 20 on bo6 feels like round 55 on Cold War. Idk if it’s just me but man this game hard.
But I think it’s because the zombies have so many spawn points that they be making them spawn behind you. But I also notice that if you take your time killing them they stop pawning all the zombies in that wave. So I just make a train, kill most of them, maybe leave 5 and let the train build again. But always make sure the horde is following you because they’ll disappear and reappear in the new area you’re in
It gets pretty tedious at round 30. Like 3 megabombs, 5 manglers shooting at you, fast armoured zombies that are basically bullet sponges even if you have a level 3 packed legendary weapon, it's a bit much to never be able to stop moving ever. There's also this really dumb thing with damage taken, where you can have full armor and get hit but it's taking your actual health away and not the armor. I could understand if it was just the mangler canon but it's also regular zombie damage too. Like, wtf did I buy armor for when it just does nothing half the time? Overall it's definitely harder because of this. And also the game has a tendency to throw you off and spin you in random directions sometimes when vaulting cars and stuff too. And mangler blasts and megabomb charges are a bit too strong also, like you can easily get pushed or slowed into a herd at later rounds. Idk man, none of this really feels fun to me. I like the game up to round 30 then exfil.
The gum reward system is dumb , random drops of crappy gums & Quick revive is overpriced & doesnt revive you just team m8s ( probably an Aug to unlock ) its painfully slow progress & points need a buff
The teleporting zombies is the most annoying part for me. You can't rest for a second in this game, even just to buy something at a workbench or whatever. When you try to run away from a large horde of zombies they don't spawn where you are, they spawn where you are going. Like what the fuck. You run toward a building at full tactical sprint and somehow there are already zombies coming out of that doorway blocking your path.
The only way to get a guaranteed free Ray Gun is by doing the Liberty Falls Easter Egg then pick to keep playing after you beat the EE. The main problem with this method is if you pick to keep playing there’s a lot of really weird bugs that apply like not being able to use your equipment and losing connection to the cod servers for up to ten minutes.
I just had a game that after completing the EE. I had an Abomination charge me into the bus outside of the bowling alley. Fucker hit me so hard I was spectating myself from inside the bus on solo. lol
I solo’d the LF EE last night and when I went in it was a vermin round so when I came out it was still a vermin round and immediately died and to them on the roof while tryna loot (I was out of plates completely) and I was just sitting there spectating my dead body even though I had a self rez. Like I wasn’t even downed I was fully dead and it said I was spectating myself.
Oh it's definitely a risk now since the zombies can pretty much just pre swipe you if you use that new melee perk. Shoot you even get swiped even if you use your signature melee.

I saw the window lit up and noticed it was the only one but didn't interact, legend. If u didn't know too, any pool tables you see will have perfectly placed balls, shoot them and pick up the free points it gives

Prestige 1 in zombies here! I have found that using cryo freeze with the arguments “ freeze elites / deal more damage to frozen enemies “ melts the amalgamation the cryo will freeze him and place and then you can just dump into him with your packed weapon !

1. That’s basically already the case as the melee weapon is the 3rd weapon if you hold down the melee button. 2. You can also PAP said melee weapon, So don’t sleep on it! They’re actually pretty good and even fun to use.

For the equipment trials (and other trials that require specific things like perks, weapons, etc.) the trial machine itself will either drop them regularly, reduce the cost/cooldown, or temporarily give it to you. Edit: right click (not sure what controller input, maybe x/square or y/triangle) will just drop the item out of a loot box on the ground instead of equipping it then finding your upgraded/leveling gun on the ground to drop it.
Gotta say I was worried about the always online deal. But this is the smoothest zombies launch we have ever had. I haven't crashed once. Coldwar and issue was the host would leave and it refused to migrate..here that is never a issue. Game feels so smooth
I havent tried but im pretty sure it does let you rejoin if the game settings are right. I was under the assumption you get your stuff back but im not sure 100%

Mr.Roflwaffles their one method to possibly abtain the raygun. Go the door buy by bowling alley by spawn and melee the vending machine and only can one time each round
It should also be mention about the throwing axe, when it kills a zombie and as it is falling to the ground, any zombies that come into contact with it as its falling, they will die to it too. So grouped up zombies can chain reacted with the axe.

The equipment Sam challenge will drop lethal equipment around itself when you get the challenge, using those is a better way to do it rather than going to a crafting table.
I have just 1 question for activision, why is it that when you load up cod it plays the mw3 intro then the bo6 intro? Shouldn't it start playing those intros when you load those games? Because they don't do that, when you load the games you're just put into the select game mode screen right away. COD HQ should have its own intro and the bo6 and mw3 intros should play when you load those games

Something to mention for the weapons you get from the keys and bonus easter eggs - DROP THEM ON THE GROUND INSTEAD OF EQUIPPING THEM - THE GAME REGISTERS YOU HAVING ONLY A GUN AND YOUR KNIFE IF YOU EQUIP IT FROM THISE SOURCES
With the vault loot you don't have to take the items out. You can just leave them for later. I like if you had perks or self revives or even guns don't loot them and they will stay there. Until you need them. But if you drop them or equip them they'll disappear.
you just have to be careful when using the "immunity" killstreaks because sometimes when you're in a corner it'll stop mid animation due to not having enough space / being blocked.
Hey Milo I'm not sure if you know. But while it is true you don't need like stamin up to level up, if you do have it equipped you do get more exp for the research. That goes for all the researches.
Another bonus tip: if you swan dive across a perk machine while holding the "Use" button, you instantly get the perk and completely skip the animation of chugging the drink down.
On both maps there are pool tables with pool balls on them, shoot them to get 100 essence, go prone in front of perk machines for 100 essence. During the Sam trials with equipment kills, the trial machine spots out tons of equipment for kills.
The free 100 essence does not reset in the bowling alley. Even if you save and quit it will reset the pool table and do the legendary trick shot break animation but no points will pop out.
I got a raygun from a blue key on terminus, as well as my buddy got one from a underwater loot crate, i bet the digs have a small chance of digging one up too! I remember getting one from a dig in cold war
Really not enjoying the game at the moment. The boss spam and how bullet spongy they are completely ruins the fun of high rounding for me. I’m all for making the game more ‘difficult” but this is NOT it. All they had to do was make armour less effective so it only allowed you to tank one extra hit regardless of what round your on (the difference between not having armour and having armour is also an issue because of the zombies doing more damage on higher rounds to compensate for the fact that armour is so effective)
Yeah I’m their efforts to make it “harder” we’ve just gone full circle back to leading hoards through traps to get far. It’s “harder” but more so just tedious as hell compared to something like BO2 or BO3
You can 1 hit a miniboss with a melee weapon pap'ed, and you can kill the bosses the same way, its nice to be back to zombies being hard and needing to use traps, Bo4 and Cold war, there was no difficulty at all, every time you almost die you just use a chopper gunner or a hellstorm or an ability or any of the instant get out of jail free items, I did round 100 on every map on those 2 games first try and then pretty much stopped playing. This Zombies mode is challenging and fair, throw nades into the Boss mouths to kill it fast. I can go round 50 with a baseball bat or a knife with no bullets shot, its not hard if you know how to play it, just need to adapt.
@@kfc2180 you literally just admitted that what made made Cold War and BO4 so easy was the ability to use a get out of jail free card which I agree with. What has any of that got to do with everything taking forever to kill and boss spam?
The issue with the kick feature is if you have to go AFK in Co-op and get kicked, you lose your weapons AND the easter egg will no longer count for you.
Another tip with the vaults, the rewards don't despawn. So if you have perks or self revives in one, save it til you run out of craftable selfs or when you down and need a perk or 2 for free
@UrNeighboursDog oh weird. I opened the vault on LF on round 6 and had all of what I didn't take stay until round 41 when I took them to exfil. Do we know how long they stay or is it certain rewards that will disappear? Maybe it'll leave guns but not scorestreaks? Good info tho, thank you
I did the vault keys on liberty falls yesterday it was nice first code is on the counter near the vault second code is at the comic book shop under the counter and the third code is in the bowling alley and you have to shoot a bucket of beer bottles
I have a tip for people doing Zombies camo challenges specifically Crit Kills going into 3rd person because of how its programed is a bit easier to hit headshots with semi-auto weapons especially in a group I know this because I've been grinding GS45 challenges

Fun fact: the lethal kills trial compter will generate lethals but throwing them out for the machine i learned this while playing solo it makes the challege less painful

Here is a tip, you can preset a max out gun with attachments for zombie in the gun menu. With this, you buy your customized gun off the wall or mystery box. This is how I start with GS45 akimbo (Sally) with higher rairty every game.
Never works with me. I constantly come in with a next to fully kitted out shotgun. And everytime I grab a different version of it instead of using the arsenal to upgrade it, I have a completely random variant of it.
Additional thing it seems normal zombies and specials have a SMALL chance to drop self revives beyond the limit ive only seen it drop like 3 tital times and im level 41 through zombies alone
Dude last night me and my friend were playing and I did nothing but hit the box for 27 straight rounds until I even got a decent assault rifle and lmg like damn..the rng was insane. That has to be some kind of record for constantly hitting the box. We made it to round 34 before we died but damn it was so annoying
All the kills you get aren't counted towards the skins either. Just tested a fresh game.. needed 11 kills to unlock next skin. I killed 11 zombies and then died with my eliminations on 11 also. But I skill need 3 more kills to unlock the skin.
I'm at level 47 and just found out that 9000 salvages is the cost of all the weapon's rarity upgrades(uncommon + rare + epic + legendary) and not just legendary rarity. Once you upgrade to green you will only need 8500 salvages to get to gold.
Anyone else just start finding small ee’s in this game, feel like the old ones are skill driven with story on the side but nowadays it’s story driven with skill on the side, interesting change treyarch
6:25 the SAM machine you used to activate the equipment kills challenge will actually periodically drop random equipment on the ground if you happen to get that challenge. So you don’t necessarily need to use the axe or craft equipment just keep an eye out and use what it drops
Does it? I agree that would make sense for a few of the trials for it to resupply you while active (especially the killstreak one), but so far I haven't noticed it doing that.
I noticed a few times that if I don't have the specific item that I am researching equipped in game that my augment research does not progress. Like with jugg yesterday played 2 games of Terminus and got 0 progress.
I’ve noticed the zombie AI is really bad when you stand on ledges above. There is a spot in liberty falls where the zombies path find under you and can’t actually touch you while your there

Something to mention for the weapons you get from the keys and bonus easter eggs -
DROP THEM ON THE GROUND INSTEAD OF EQUIPPING THEM - THE GAME REGISTERS YOU HAVING ONLY A GUN AND YOUR KNIFE IF YOU EQUIP IT FROM THISE SOURCES
With the vault loot you don't have to take the items out. You can just leave them for later. I like if you had perks or self revives or even guns don't loot them and they will stay there. Until you need them. But if you drop them or equip them they'll disappear.
you just have to be careful when using the "immunity" killstreaks because sometimes when you're in a corner it'll stop mid animation due to not having enough space / being blocked.
Just did the Easter egg yesterday! It was pretty hard and we got a free raygun and pack 3 after finishing it! So cool!
Hey Milo I'm not sure if you know. But while it is true you don't need like stamin up to level up, if you do have it equipped you do get more exp for the research. That goes for all the researches.

I kept seeing those Monte Carlo's around and thought they looked out of place. Didn't think of blowing them up though lol
Another bonus tip: if you swan dive across a perk machine while holding the "Use" button, you instantly get the perk and completely skip the animation of chugging the drink down.
You can also get the ray gun from those underwater chests and the vending machine by motel on liberty falls if you melee it with the punch perk

On both maps there are pool tables with pool balls on them, shoot them to get 100 essence, go prone in front of perk machines for 100 essence. During the Sam trials with equipment kills, the trial machine spots out tons of equipment for kills.
The free 100 essence does not reset in the bowling alley. Even if you save and quit it will reset the pool table and do the legendary trick shot break animation but no points will pop out.
I got a raygun from a blue key on terminus, as well as my buddy got one from a underwater loot crate, i bet the digs have a small chance of digging one up too! I remember getting one from a dig in cold war
9:00 I've managed to get a raygun from one of these, definitely do NOT sleep on these.
Really not enjoying the game at the moment. The boss spam and how bullet spongy they are completely ruins the fun of high rounding for me. I’m all for making the game more ‘difficult” but this is NOT it. All they had to do was make armour less effective so it only allowed you to tank one extra hit regardless of what round your on (the difference between not having armour and having armour is also an issue because of the zombies doing more damage on higher rounds to compensate for the fact that armour is so effective)
Yeah I’m their efforts to make it “harder” we’ve just gone full circle back to leading hoards through traps to get far. It’s “harder” but more so just tedious as hell compared to something like BO2 or BO3
You can 1 hit a miniboss with a melee weapon pap'ed, and you can kill the bosses the same way, its nice to be back to zombies being hard and needing to use traps, Bo4 and Cold war, there was no difficulty at all, every time you almost die you just use a chopper gunner or a hellstorm or an ability or any of the instant get out of jail free items, I did round 100 on every map on those 2 games first try and then pretty much stopped playing. This Zombies mode is challenging and fair, throw nades into the Boss mouths to kill it fast. I can go round 50 with a baseball bat or a knife with no bullets shot, its not hard if you know how to play it, just need to adapt.

@@kfc2180 you literally just admitted that what made made Cold War and BO4 so easy was the ability to use a get out of jail free card which I agree with. What has any of that got to do with everything taking forever to kill and boss spam?
Skill issue
The issue with the kick feature is if you have to go AFK in Co-op and get kicked, you lose your weapons AND the easter egg will no longer count for you.

Another tip with the vaults, the rewards don't despawn. So if you have perks or self revives in one, save it til you run out of craftable selfs or when you down and need a perk or 2 for free
They do eventually, we had loads of chopper gunners in there and they gradually vanished without being used
@UrNeighboursDog oh weird. I opened the vault on LF on round 6 and had all of what I didn't take stay until round 41 when I took them to exfil. Do we know how long they stay or is it certain rewards that will disappear? Maybe it'll leave guns but not scorestreaks? Good info tho, thank you

You could also change your field upgrade in Cold War by just changing your class midgame

I did the vault keys on liberty falls yesterday it was nice first code is on the counter near the vault second code is at the comic book shop under the counter and the third code is in the bowling alley and you have to shoot a bucket of beer bottles

I have a tip for people doing Zombies camo challenges specifically Crit Kills going into 3rd person because of how its programed is a bit easier to hit headshots with semi-auto weapons especially in a group I know this because I've been grinding GS45 challenges
I got to say I already liked the zombies but now that it's been a few days I'm really surprised with how many little Easter eggs are on all of the maps!

Fun fact: the lethal kills trial compter will generate lethals but throwing them out for the machine i learned this while playing solo it makes the challege less painful

Here is a tip, you can preset a max out gun with attachments for zombie in the gun menu.
With this, you buy your customized gun off the wall or mystery box. This is how I start with GS45 akimbo (Sally) with higher rairty every game.
Never works with me. I constantly come in with a next to fully kitted out shotgun. And everytime I grab a different version of it instead of using the arsenal to upgrade it, I have a completely random variant of it.
My only complaint about Liberty balls is the Vermin rounds. They aren’t but some of those rounds just last forever for no reason.

Additional thing it seems normal zombies and specials have a SMALL chance to drop self revives beyond the limit ive only seen it drop like 3 tital times and im level 41 through zombies alone
Being able to hold 5 axes in zombies is great and they do a lot of damage to manglers and stuff more than semtexs and max everything weapons
The gold chests also can give you wonder weapons i pullled a raygun from onenof them
Boss zombies can also drop wonder weapons when you kill them. I got a Jet Gun from a mangler.
You can cancel the perk drinking animation if you dolphin dive into a perk machine and buy it at the same time
Dude last night me and my friend were playing and I did nothing but hit the box for 27 straight rounds until I even got a decent assault rifle and lmg like damn..the rng was insane. That has to be some kind of record for constantly hitting the box. We made it to round 34 before we died but damn it was so annoying
All the kills you get aren't counted towards the skins either.
Just tested a fresh game.. needed 11 kills to unlock next skin. I killed 11 zombies and then died with my eliminations on 11 also.
But I skill need 3 more kills to unlock the skin.
You probably didn’t get critical kills
I'm at level 47 and just found out that 9000 salvages is the cost of all the weapon's rarity upgrades(uncommon + rare + epic + legendary) and not just legendary rarity. Once you upgrade to green you will only need 8500 salvages to get to gold.

For no. 12 does double xp work for the augments
6:25 the SAM machine you used to activate the equipment kills challenge will actually periodically drop random equipment on the ground if you happen to get that challenge. So you don’t necessarily need to use the axe or craft equipment just keep an eye out and use what it drops
Does it? I agree that would make sense for a few of the trials for it to resupply you while active (especially the killstreak one), but so far I haven't noticed it doing that.
I noticed a few times that if I don't have the specific item that I am researching equipped in game that my augment research does not progress. Like with jugg yesterday played 2 games of Terminus and got 0 progress.

I’ve noticed the zombie AI is really bad when you stand on ledges above. There is a spot in liberty falls where the zombies path find under you and can’t actually touch you while your there
I was meta gaming last night in front of the church. The mantling over cars helps a lot. Until a mangler jumps up there with you. Bout pissed my pants the first time that happened
The equipment SAM trial will spawn equipment during the duration of its challenge so you don’t need to craft anything for it.
Love using the knife - all my boys look at me like wtf you doing in round 20 2 hitting with the knife while they waste a half a clip for zombie.
Regarding the Mystery Box weapon charm. I bought it but not sure how I redeem the code for it.
The points from the pool reset when you save quit then come back in solo but not the essence from it sadly
The boss zombies just feel like bullet sponges even with fully upgraded weapons
