Love the 'Ok, oh ya, noted' when Ben pulled his 58 again in the intro part. So far so good, loving the video.
This was awesome. NLU needs more Ben, he is great.
Very much agree with this!
These are the videos I love the most. On course, talking through shots, learning how to improve in certain areas. Like a better film room.
Coach stole the show here.
Ben: This is a 58 always
Maureen: Press X to doubt
The infinite nuance in short game is always mind blowing
If that doesn’t make you want to work with a PGA pro I don’t know what will. I loved the mindset and the technical discussions. Solid positive coaching.
that move at 17:00 just changed my life
Excellent coach..analogies, mental pictures, right amount of data, feedback…loved it all
What an impressive teacher, enjoyed this!
She's a great example of a PGA Pro. Love to see it! Great video
She's a good coach.
Loved the video! I think seeing more numbers during the lesson would've helped see the effects of the changes Ben was working on
My short game needs the most work and this really helps. Understanding how to hit 40yrd chippy spinny, trappy, recoily shot is so good to have. Maureen is awesome!
This wasn't actually a planned segment at all. After losing two matches to Soly and Neil, Ben was sitting in a Runza in Missouri, absolutely defeated. He looked at DJ and was just like, 'Deej, what if we just...went bad?' A month later, Soly sees a video being uploaded and processed on the RUclips channel. He checks the Slack and sees an unread message from Ben:
"The king returns"
If you’re gonna talk about my beloved Runza…please give credit accordingly…Nebraska is the great state with all of the Runza restaurants! (I’m from Nebraska..I Love Runza! 😁😁
@@COACHMOGOLF No shade at all! Bit of Refuge humor leaking out and the fact that Ben lives in MO instead of NE.
I was able to read the playful tone! Just had to set the record straight just in case. 😉
Wow, this was very good and interesting. Definately going to revisit this one over and over.
excellent video - just shows how much you can still learn even at +2 handicapp....
Absolutely brilliant video 👍👍👍👍 fantastic coaching easy to understand 😊😊
how does you tube know what I have been working on lately and then feeds me this!
Such a positive coach. Are you going to have more "fun" with these shots? A great way to frame the goal. Terrific video.
I have been trying to manipulate grinds, lofts, face angle, hi toe grooves, open, closed, high, low.
The simple idea of leaning "down and up" and through with the strike instead of "letting the club do the work" changed turf interaction more than anything I've ever tried.
Awesome! So happy that helped you!
guitar space soundtracking a golf epiphany 🤌🏼
More videos from Maureen please
I would be really good at golf if I had a teacher like this. Impressive.
Loved this content!
Best coach in KC!
What a great teacher
Great video. Took away multiple swing thoughts from this that took 4-5 shots off my score today. Some #sensible wedge play.
Loved this, hitting chips up my hallway …
Brilliant content. Maureen seems to be a wonderful coach and just about every am golfer can learn plenty from this video! Keep it coming guys.
Great video, will be practicing 👍
The 40 yard shots were sick
Who knew Ben was the true dome golfer
This season I started my warm up before a round only hitting theses shots getting my body moving, it's made a big difference
Great coach.
the way she said "it becomes FUN" hit me
@DJpie love the Guvs music selection
This is sick, where do I get lessons this good?! 😂
🙋🏼♀️
Amazing to me that at +2 he didn’t already have these shots. Makes me feel better tbh!
To be honest, scratch golfers are not that good. If you can just hit the ball generally in the right direction with very few catastrophic failures and have a decent short game, you're scratch
@@johnroberts2104 haha seems so easy hey!
Ben after his Pinehurst performance
*Michael jordan I took it personally* meme
I think the downhill shot was the most important information. I knew about how it bottoms out early but a large majority do not.
That being said im still waiting for "all that bite" they kept talking about
"I got a ball."
"Is that it?"
"Huh, yeh."
Haha have been there
Edit: Good video. Please dial in the background music - at points, way way too loud.
Just goes to show you that even a plus-2 handicapper can duff shots, and needs a coach to help get more choices and direction for his short game. The hard part is finding a good coach that will actually help you and not string you along just to make more money. Cheers.
Wearing those socks with the FootJoy traditions is easily costing you 2 strokes.
What I would do to get this type of lesson! If he’s a 2+ and struggles with short game with wedges, I wonder what most average players should really focus on 🧐
The correct answer is long game - if he can be a plus 2 with an average short game that tells you all you need to now about what it takes to be that good
Love the Dirty Guv's inclusion 😤
He needs a trip to Scotland, and or play some links conditions.
genuinely asking, what's with the black fans around the greens? never seen that in MI
Keeps the Bent grass cool in the summers.
Have also seen it in NC. I think it also helps to dry the green after rain, watering, etc.
Was this sponsored by servpro?
ben might be a ball speed impostor
Gonna have to disagree with that.
Can you please be my coach too 🙏
Can she be ny coach??? Smokeshow!
🏌🏻
Disappointed in Ben. If hes going ‘long socks’ he needs to commit. Pull those beauties up. Cant be having wrinkly tubes. Man up and commit.
subject is a v good golfer but his weakness is obvious- he just gets in his own way by being way too neurotic and overthinking everything. results in him being obviously tense, overswinging, being fidgety (notice his reaction on misses, just gets way too rattled). its like hes obsessed w optics and results rather than the process.
and while i like the coach i think shes not a good fit bc she encourages the analytical approach which is good for feel players but not for neurotic types. i think all the player needs is more casual feel-based practise-to take off his hat, wear normal runners, and just casually hit around the green not caring about results and experimenting w different positions and letting the ball teach him. the more intuitive and relaxed hell get, the better the results will be. bryson's recent coaching content is a good eg of the type of instruction that would work well for him.
If you're a +2, you have no mess in your game.
That’s not true
Did you watch the Pinehurst video with Neil?
@@awillia42 hahaha exactly!
Needs to not keep head down and chest down for so long
That turf 😢
