I've been watching practically hundreds of Crosstrek off road videos and yours is by far the best I've ever seen! I was already convinced buying a new 2019 Crosstrek. The new global platform is even better than the previous generation too. Live in Toronto Canada area where are winters are brutal, especially this year. Buying the Crosstrek next year. I know it sounds crazy but I am hoping for another brutal winter and lots of snow when I have it in January. LoL. Awesome video, and yes as the other viewer stated, you should be paid by Subaru. The sales for 2019 models here were so good, they had almost a three month waiting list in our province of Ontario

i got a 2013 crosstrek, and i LOVE it, would love if the next crosstrek had a short front for better approach angle and throw in a turbo/faster engine and it will be perfect
Yes I agree that the front bumper hangs too low and makes it harder to approach certain situations

people i know buy jeep wranglers and subaru crosstreks and foresters, but i never see them take it off road like this, so one day,finally,ive convinced my friend to take her jeep out for some light offroading on snow,semi-deep snow, like maybe about 4-6inches, then the car started sliding tires slippin' and SHE started freakin' out and started complaining and screaming like her jeep's going to break! smh... @_@

Awesome! I personally prefer the manual over the CVT. Mainly because you have a little more control over acceleration, off-road driving, and the exhaust sounds better with a manual. Excuseme , Wich buttons you turn off or on for off road?
The only button that I can think of is the one for traction control. I turn traction control off so that I may spin tires.
Call me an idiot, but I did not know this car was this off road capable, and I own a 2018 cvt 1.6. Wish It were manual though.
Guys! Don't get me wrong... I love the Crosstrek / XV for what it is: a great car, decent ground clearance and of course, AWD. BUT.....Is it me, or does it SEEM that the XV/Crosstrek takes a longer / more cautious way to go around things? (especially the front bumper) Please tell me i am wrong. Let me know! I really need this final convincing purchasing this XV/Crosstrek.

what kinda exhaust you got? doesn't sound stock to me for some reason.
it's a manual and I took the muffler off. that's it haha, it doesn't work as well with the CVT IMO.

It's not that loud inside but with the roof rack it can be. If you're mentioning the exhaust, I removed the muffler.

muffler delete. Not sure what a bash plate is but it has no skid plate if that's what you mean.

doing well! my dad just drove it from CO to NC for me while I'm TDY. Clutch is a tad worn but she's doing great.
