ഈ നൃത്തം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ശരീരമാസകലം ധീരതയുടെ ഊർജ്ജം പ്രവാഹം. ശേഷം ഒരു ദീർഘ നിശ്വാസവും
അതിനാൽ തന്നെ ഈ നൃത്തം എല്ലാവർക്കും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും എന്ന് വേണം കരുതാൻ. ലോകത്തെ ഏത് ശിൽപ്പത്തിനും സൂക്ഷ്മമായി പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ ലക്ഷത്തിൽ ഒരംശം ചേർച്ച ഇല്ലാതെ കാണാം
അത് സംകൽപശക്തി ഉള്ള മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശ്രദ്ധ അവിടെ പതിയുകയില്ല

This is actually like 1980's cinematic dance. Is it coming under folk category. Yes the story of chandu belongs to folk category, but when it comes in the form of a dance, at least there should be more folk styles. In this the story of chandu interpeted in musical form and the dancers just intepreting the same in semi classical form.

this is an university level group dance competition where it is most preferable to use classical form for the dance.this is just an expression of the entire story of 'vadakkanpaattu' in a semi classical dance format,and it is expressed really well in the music and dance,which include both classical as well as folk steps. Art is beyond limits and there is no such thing that a folk tale should be expressed in folk format only.we are having a new level of ideology that classical dance is not only meant for the 'elite'class,but also for each and every common man.so the choreography of this dance is strengthening the argument.

Abcd Xyz I felt the same. Folk dance soul is missing. All steps have stiffness bcos they are classical dancers. All of them are talented indeed but the essence of folk dance is missing.
