- I am John Salmon a watercolour artist from Enfield, North London. This speeded up video is of a watercolour painting which features woodland trees and a stream and shows how I add some final touches to the artwork.
Growing up in Enfield, I spent a lot of time exploring the local area, from Hilly Fields, Turkey Brook, Whitewebbs, Forty Hill, Trent Park and everywhere in between. These spots hold a special place in my heart and bring back all sorts of fond memories. I like to cycle back to these locations, armed with a sketchbook and a packed lunch. Nothing beats sitting by a babbling brook in the sunshine, with my pencils and sketchbook, listening to the birdsong.

@@JohnSalmon No worries. Leonard told me about your channel.
@@TheTransportHub17 Ah cousin Len. That's good of him. Thanks for letting me know. 👍🏼
@@JohnSalmon Yep. It certainly was. No worries. I’m Jack. I’m on several FB groups and run North London & Surrounding County Walks group.
This is helpful! I slowed it down and could see how you carefully apply the paint. I need to do that and not think it has to be all in one go. I would love to a video of your newest charger! I have tried to make the first one you showed. It is really a game changer. What did you use for the stainless steel in the new one?
Many thanks for your comments. If I can get around to it I will make a video of the charger and how I made it. The wire I used was from a piece of jewellery that my wife had. It was just a choker necklace, a circle of wire that had some trinkets hanging from it. I assume it's Stainless steel because it's quite hard whereas something with silver in it would be quite soft. I tried to get some from eBay but it was only available in large lengths. It is 1.46mm / 0.058 inches diameter. It's good and doesn't rust. If you send your email address to mrjohnsalmon@gmail I'll send you some notes with pictures which someone else asked me for. Thanks again for your comments.
