Hi Ally, ECO mode acts upon certain driving actions (acceleration, gear changing, cruise control, deceleration etc.) and it can be temporarily exited by pressing the accelerator pedal down firmly and fully. It can be reactivated when you take pressure off the accelerator pedal or manually press the ECO button back on. So it may be that it will deactivate as it adapts to the conditions and performance of the car to give you an optimum driving experience, however, you can manually adjust it as you see fit.
I own a Captur, and love it but I have yet to use the ECO button and hate the idea of a stop-start.
are you able to use air con when stop/start is on?
I have to switch on the eco button every time I get into the car is this normal or is there a way for it to come on itself.
