Boy I must be getting old. It is nice for you to have the nostalgia of being in middle school when you see these dolls. I can't wait to see how you incorporate them into your room.
I know! I have been surprised as well that the 90s is now considered historical! My kids had a dress like the 90s day at school around the same time these dolls were released 😂 I almost added to the video how I incorporated them into the doll room! That might need to be in a separate video... Though it has changed several times. So maybe, it's good to see the final result! I gave some of their outfits to other AG dolls. So now, more girls can be 90s themed 🥰 Hope you're having a great weekend!
Yes please do a video when you decide where the girls are going to be. As a fellow doll collector I know that rearranging the room is something we do from time to time. I love your channel, it's my favorite. You have a great weekend also.
I loved your detailed review of Isabelle and Nicki. They are the only two historicals I don’t have yet. It was neat to see them up close. My favourite is actually Isabelle with her bright green eyes. I may get her at some point. I have two Caroline’s so they are my identical twins. 😊
It is fun having dolls that are identical twins! It would have been fun if American Girl took that approach. But I adore both dolls. Caroline is a doll I have really wanted, but I sadly missed out on her. She is the perfect doll to twin! 💝💕

I love these dolls so much! I’m just about their age as well, a year older, so they make me so nostalgic! I do wish they had more unique names, though. These are names that have been used multiple times for AGs, and Isabel isn’t exactly a common ‘90s name! Ashley and Jennifer would’ve been much more accurate. Still, I adore most of their collection, especially Nicki’s.
I agree! They are super fun, nostalgic dolls! I actually new twins named Ashley and Nicki growing up. So funny! Ashley and Jennifer were super common names. As well as Katherine or Katie for short. Glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰
Nicki and Isabel are beautiful dolls. If Nicki’s wig bothers you, you can remove it and then re-glue to your preferred fit. I used Tacky Glue to glue wigs on my AG dolls. Enjoy your dolls!
That’s a great suggestion! And definitely good to know for future dolls! I think I am hyper aware of flaws when picking out a new doll, but in the end it doesn’t bother me so much. It just had me a little worried at first 😅
I got nicki for my birthday last year and am hoping to get isabel for christmas so I can have them both although I definitely prefer isabel over nicki just because I think shes cuter and I love her outfit its so cutee 😍I also hope to get her tennis outfit and accessories someday because that would be cool but yeah which doll do you prefer?❤
I like them both so much it's hard to pick. But maybe Isabel as well, because her outfit is so outstanding. But it's a hard choice... I have Nicki's main outfit on my mini me, because that is the type of clothes I would wear back in the day. But I love the Clueless reference of Isabel! So exciting! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Ha ha! I know. But I think the 90s being viewed as a historical trend is a popular thing right now. AG is jumping on this. My kids’ school had a dress like the 90s day. And my husband said someone from work went to an adult 90s themed party… I think kids now are curious about the era when their parents were teenagers 😂 But it really doesn’t seem very long ago 💨
