Can I just say that reading all of the books you'd love to read is inspiring me so much. I hope anyone who comes to this comment section finds all of these books and takes the time out to read them someday :) Love all of you
I can’t believe it’s been 1 yr since I have been watching this marvellous channel!!! It’s officially been 1 entire year since the reaction video came out, and when I started watching Shaurya. It literally feels like 2 days. Thank you Shaurya for providing all the quality content that you have in the past year, it has definitely been one of my best years on RUclips :)
Would love to watch a psychology/ entreprenurship book recs A recommendation you didnt ask for - design of everyday things (im myself only half way through it & it gets a little boring sometimes but you seem like someone who’d like that)
"I am not your final girl" by Claire C. Holland. So this book is a collection of poetry, I've been exploring more poetry from different eras. I wanna look into modern poetry too so I thought this would be a great start :))
book title:- tools of titans reason:- I am a 21 y/o business graduate and I'm about to step into the "real/corporate/entrepreneurship" world there are so many "/" because I am as confused as you might be my brother, which is why I need some solid outlooks, opinions and perspectives on life from a varied set of people from all walks of life and try not to f up my journey ahead. don't really need spoilers for the unveiled chapters of my life, just wanna read some cool experiences. recently discovered your content man, it's sick, keep up the good work my guy!
The knife of never letting go by Patrick Ness its themes are far reaching and everyone can connect to it in some way. It is a book about coming of age, adventure, friendship, suspense and is a roller-coaster of a ride! Suspense and thriller are like my daily dose of serotonin. I love to ponder of myself as Nancy drew even if it’s for hours while I am reading. Iwould really love to dive into this book. Btw really love your channel. Shaurya supremacy!!!!!
'Midnight's Children 'by Salman Rushdie Because it is the most illuminating work of post colonial literature. As a staunch admirer of English Literature, I would be extremely glad and excited to read this literary masterpiece.
can you read my mind? this was much needed. I’ve been struggling to get back to my reading habit after 2-3 years of not reading.. this video was much needed!
Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown. I want to read this book because there is a quote from this from this book that says "It's about what matters most to you in life. it's not about less. it's about essential things, essential relationships, essential living. Most of the stuff that is going on is not vital. we sometimes forget that we have a choice." And this stuck with me.
"House of Earth and Blood" by Sarah J. Maas Sarah J. Maas is my Favourite Author and this book is the first installment in her series "Crescent City", so I want this book ...
I absolutely agree, I recently learned that reading a new book every week isnt important, you're only going to absorb few highlights that resonate with you. also, the end was too adorable lol :)
‘Kafka on the Shore’ by Haruki Murakami! I would want to read this book because I have heard and read about how Murakami writes his books in a very different style. And his style of narration requires a person to put out a lot of thought process into work because of how confusing it can be. And I think, I’m up for this difficult reading experience because I’ve always read book which were too straight forward. This time, I want to try something new. . . Also, the introduction couldn’t get any more relatable!😫 Amazing video, Shaurya!!!💙💙
"House of cards by Sudha Murthy" -- My twin sis gave it to me in 7th grade( her fav book and the only Indian fiction book I ever read) I still can't digest the fact that I lost that book in our school library ..I would gift it back to her on our coming birthday in june..we've soooo many memories attached to that 7th-grade fiction book.
The book that I would like to have if I win the giveaway- 1. The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon 2. Steve Jobs , Book by Walter Isaacson Any one of the above-mentioned books. Why I want it- Just cause I'm generally interested in these books, don't worry, I won't write an entire para saying that I'm super willingly wanting to learn and literally mug up the book, hopefully, I can win :)
"Conversational Hypnosis Mastery" by Bryan Westra. I chose this book because I'm not an EXCELLENT communicator, yet , I don't like to have a lot of talks (in person)with people if I know it won't be a lot valuable but still I'd like to know the art of human manipulation and exploit the vulnerabilities in this social system. I'm trying to build the best of myself and I think Communication skills would add a lot of value to it.
Hey Shaurya It’s always so good to see your videos. The book I have been wanting to read is The Motivation myth by Jeff Haden. I wanted to read this book for so long but never bought one for no reason 😬I heard it’s really a good book.
Homo Deus: A brief history of tomorrow uhh I want this because I'm really interested in humanity as a whole, the progress we've made is exhilarating! plus, I admire Harari's work and theories. I am quite excited for the book honestly
ATOMIC HABITS by James Clear this pandemic has absolutely ruined my motivation to do anything productive and my habits and I really want to read this book and try to inculcate some habits so that I can get back on track and learn some ways to do smart work
@@OOPOO-np5ej It wasn't worth my time so I try to help others save theirs by not recommending it. The perspectives of a highly privileged first world man was not something I could relate to. Had it been fiction, or written differently with genuine concerns and ideas, I might have not considered it a sick book. Also, I firmly believe that beginners should read fiction if they want to develop a reading habit. I recommend Yuval Noah Harrari's books for non-fiction. But I feel books like the subtle art barely teach us anything. Yes, they sometimes state the obvious or mention things a person could relate to. And may trigger something sometime but it really doesn't stay. But fiction, I feel it teaches you a lot more, triggers your thought process, develops compassion and empathy, and stays with you. (wow I'm really going out of my way to prevent people from reading the subtle art 😅)
Talking to stranger: malcolm gladwell. Its a book that i really want to read because first, i am great fan of the author secondly, i love his point of view on many things, how he analyses things which we normally ignore and such great points which just makes me more and more curious. Apart from this, I really like your channel. The content is awesome...keep it up.
Flow by Mihaly. It is on one of the newest researches and interests in psychology of optimal experience. The preview is intriguing and I have been wanting to read it for very long. So if you send one my way, please send this one. I also recommend it to you. Absolutely love your channel, keep it going, mate!
It’s Kind Of a Funny Story- Ned Vizzini It’s a book about how a student’s mental health is affected by the dilemma of finding the right things in life. The author himself spent time in a psychiatric hospital. You would expect it to be a depressing story but it’s kind of a funny one and hence the name.. I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while and now being a psychology student, I really want to read it!!!
ATOMIC HABITS BY JAMES CLEAR I want this book because recently only I have heard about this amazing book that it tells us to focus on the process rather than the results. And I am excited learn more:))) I came across this channel a year ago during the College decision reaction season and I love how informative it is. Thanks to Shaurya!!
There's this book called "creative confidence " by Tom Kelley and David Kelley , that a teacher recommended. I want to go into the design field and have a little self doubt sometimes. He said it's something that changed his whole perspective and that I should read it. I've been wanting to, but haven't gotten to it as of yet.
i lost it at "you can snort the cover" what a MOOD 😹💀 Also Shaurya I love your videos! I definitely think they're some of the most unique I have seen in the realm of study/productivity channels... HOWEVER. The little flashy thing in your transition cards kinda gives me headaches (and might be certain triggers for some people) so I would appreciate if you look into that!
MANY LIVES, MANY MASTERS -It's such an insightful book about how Dr. Weiss' patient started recalling her traumatic past life experiences when he hypnotized her and it just teaches you about how our past lives affect us and I'm really curious about it -Two of the people whom I really admire a lot (my fav teacher n my friend) have also read this book and they found it really impactful! And if a book leaves an impact on you, then uk it's worth everything :) -Plus it would be so cool to receive something from you Shaurya! 😁 It would honestly make the book much more exciting and special for me!! 😭💙
Me noding my head when shaurya was speaking, I was like yeahh yesss!!! Also me, banging my head when the song played in between. I mean shaurya is a vibe. Btw love your channel. Don't want any book, you are the book honestly 👍 keep up with the good work
"How to win friends and influence people" -Dale Carnegie. As I will be a freshman soon. This book will be too much helpful for college as well as for future as my communication skills are not much good. Also "One up on the the wall street" to have good financial knowledge which will surely help me.... Do suggest me which one to read first......this the first video I watched and loved the way you delivered your content.
The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin...... why---Very inspiring life + its very big book can't read by downloading tried could not go through it..... thanks a lot
I am a freshman, very inquisitive about the brain and its functions, and that's why I aim to become a neuroscientist. Whenever, I approached my bio teacher the reply was either to " study syllabus or she directly explained the parts of the brain without explaining the basics " When I decided to self-learn from textbooks, I didn't get the insight. The textbooks were only a catalogue of facts which skipped the basics and I didn't feel the learning process. I need to search basics on various websites, which consumes a lot of time. I have read sample pages of this book which illustrate the basics, this book connects as a bridge to my future where I can relate to myself.I would love to get this book on my hands and have a real taste of the learning process. Sorry If my English is bad
You are just fabulous like I just can't stop watching your video when I start I have checked your videos recently and they are amazing I mean you energy is wowwww❤💕loads of love!!!
Atomic Habits: Since this COVID-19 stuff happened, I've been procrastinating on studying and have spent all of my time on watching videos on RUclips related to very interesting study related topics which were of course not related to "11th standard CBSE Syllabus" but were about the fields I'm passionate about. This made me lag behind in the 11th standard and now I'm in 12th and the huge backlog terrifies me so much that my life has become stagnant like a pond. I was in the merit list in 10th Board and I am shocked how this whole year and a half got ruined. I want to read this book but unfortunately, this is a too expensive "non-syllabus related book" for my parents to buy so I would be really grateful to you Shaurya if I win this book in the giveaway. You are one of the best productivity and motivational RUclipsrs on the internet who have encouraged me to stand up and start breaking up that backlog rather than sitting and doing nothing to make it even worse. I'm so glad that I've come up to your channel since very beginning and have watched almost every video of yours. Thank You Very Much! Shubham Chandravanshi
Zero to One by Peter Thiel co-written with Blake Masters.... is about the how to think about startups. Peter Thiel shares many unconventional ideas such as why entrepreneurs should avoid competition, how to build (legal) monopolies, and what the future of technology holds for humanity. I'm a Management student and this book seems to be complimenting to what I do. and Hi Shaurya ! if you are reading this comment.... Big fan of your soft skills..
When We Were Orphans, by Kazuo Ishiguro. Ishiguro's known for his historical narratives that are intriguing and introspective, and leave you either stunned or wanting more. As someone who's primary genre of focus has been sci-fi and young adult, Ishiguro's complex literature is something I would love to dive into :)) Also, Shaurya, I have a suggestion for someone you can interview for one of your next videos: King Siddarth. I follow his RUclips channel as well, and you guys seem to have a lot of common interests (entrepreneurship, design and business). He has given several talks on whether or not going to college really helps, and I think his would be a pretty fresh perspective for your audience! P.S: Not sure if you're still doing the book giveaway, but I'd absolutely love to win this book if you are!
Much needed info. You're gonna go places with your content on this channel. I don't read too many books, audio(podcasts+audiobooks) just works for me. Let's see if I read now. Also yeah I failed replicating Ali Abdaal and Kharma Medic(love their work though). Got me hooked to notion and Google Calendar. P.S. Content Recommendation- Indian college advice please. Also, I mailed you(see that maybe?).
I want to read *The Courtesan, The Mahatma and the Italian Brahmin* by Manu S. Pillai. I am currently pursuing history and Mr. Pillai's alternate history of the Indian past is hella amazing. All the characters in the book, apart from their unique quirks, have one thing in common: they were thinkers, believers and dreamers, whose actions did not conform to the norms and structures that existed during their times. This is definitely an idea I want to read about soon soon! Pick me! Pick me!
Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe. I wish I had an emotional reason why I wanted this book but the truth is, I loved Keefe's previous book called Say Nothing on the Northern Ireland Troubles and it's vivid, fast-paced, crisp language. It's a book that somehow got me out of my awful reading slump during the pandemic so now I want to try more stuff by the author. Kudos on the great video though! Will definitely try some of your tips :)
Would love “Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products”! I am interested in Tech Entreprenuership and Psychology so this is going to be an interesting book to read!
heyoo! came across your channel a little while and have been loving your content and your content style. Ikigai is a book I would really like to read. Self help books are the kind I think I would be really interested in reading and as a person who doesn't read books at all but would like to develop that habit, I think ikigai could be a nice start. Also, I had a book review to submit to college last month as a project, I submitted one on ikigai on the basis of other peoples review because I hadn't read it myself but it really caught my eye. So, Ikigai it is. Anyway, have a great day and all the best. ❤️
*Name of the Book: "* Deep Work *Author: "* Cal Newport *Why I would want this book: "* As far as I have seen Cal Newport, I have understood that deep work is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep work makes you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfilment that comes from craftsmanship. In short for what I understood, deep work is like a super power in our increasingly competitive twenty-first century economy. And yet, most people have lost the ability to go deep-spending their days instead in a frantic blur of e-mail and social media, not even realizing there's a better way. I would like to delve deeper into the narrative on impact in a connected age. Also, I would want to know more about the concept of him arguing why distraction is bad and why he celebrates the power of its opposite. I am also really curious to know about the approach that this exMITian takes where, he first makes the case that in almost any profession, cultivating a deep work ethic will produce massive benefits, after which he presents a rigorous training regimen, presented as a series of four "rules," for transforming the mind and habits to support this skill. The book is widely regarded as a mix of cultural criticism and actionable advice, and I would like to be taken on a journey through memorable stories -- from Carl Jung building a stone tower in the woods to focus his mind, to a social media pioneer buying a round-trip business class ticket to Tokyo to write a book free from distraction in the air (also to no-nonsense advice), such as the claim that most serious professionals should quit social media and that you should practice being bored. Deep Work will surely be an indispensable guide to me, who will forever seek focused success in a distracted world. Thank you so much Shaurya, I've truly understood what you've tried to convey in this video, and I hope that I do get this book, it'll just be great and I'll be really very grateful. Ps: I've liked the video and, well, I had subbed a year back (lol). Thanks a lot!
"Atomic habits" is the one I would really want to read .. The review and learning that I have heard and seen really pin my brain to read it knowing how the pandemic has affected our habits and procrastination has walked it way through it . I would really want to explore different book genre. And above all a book from the person who inspire would be an add on to all my excitement. By the way your recommendations of "how to build a better vocabulary " has added on to my read currently reading it and learning .
Leadership is one of the most challenging things you can ever think about and I myself have experienced that in the past 8 months. Did some mistakes, but glad I learned from them. I would like to read Extreme Ownership- How Navy Seals The Win. Jocko Willink Just bursts you with energy whenever you listen to him. That guy no doubt is a combo pack of all the top leadership skills you can ever imagine of. Reading that book would be completely insane for me!!
Had already done the first 2 steps of the GIVEAWAY beforehand. SOOO the book that I'm on reading is ONE UP ON WALL STREET by Peter Lynch, it explains how stock markets work hypothetically, and for someone who's keen on learning about financial markets.THIS is apparently ONE OF THE BEST BUYS. Hope i get pickedddd By the way, ABSOLUTELY LOVE your content. AND that aggression with YOUR BOOK. ouuuhhhh, KEEP IT UP MAN. XD
The Gene: An Intimate History by Siddhartha Mukherjee: Come to think of it we all are an ensemble of more than 30 thousand genes, each one contributing to our unique quirks. Passionate about biotech and genetics I would love to dive deeper into the foundation of our existence. Happy reading xD! Love the video!
Honestly the bestest advices eveh. Legit... Never got this piece of advice bu still "der ay durust ay".... May you keep making these videos with the same enthusiasm~♡
Psychology of money Since I am just about to finish 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' I want a new book to continue my journey! Shaurya you are an amazing person! Your energy always boosts me! Hope I could meet you in person some day.
Atomic Habits - james clear I really want to read this book because i want to change myself and let myself adopt a new way to think. And also maybe I don’t want to remain where am i now. I am looking for a constant growth period and I believe this book can help me do it.
I was never into reading until last year when I got sufficient time to observe and understand myself. I tried reading a lot of books but for some reason I could never relate to one. However, when I started reading this amazing book called ' The Pilgrimage', it has become impossible for me to keep it away. Since I relate most to adventure fiction books, I'd really love reading a similar, 'THE ALCHEMIST'. It's been a month since I started following your channel, I've to admit your channel has been quite helpful in different ways. Thank you!!!
N Klein This Changes Everything: capitalism vs. the climate (Simon & Schuster, 2014); an intersection of economics and environment (my fav subjects), need to read this for my undergrad course at the LSE.
Limitless by Jim Kwik! I just know that he is the guy for me. He has influenced me so much in literally everything. I've almost watched all of his live event videos on RUclips, and am currently listening to his podcast. I bet I've had a massive change in my attention span and concentration by focusing and applying what he says and shows. I probably had mild ADHD before quarantine, but in 2021, I just have all the focus I need to do whatever I want. Whenever I'm pensive, I just recall some of his quotes, and that just boosts my mood!!! Now the final step left, after watching and listening to him, is to read his book. Like, he just changed my life in a year- how could I not read his book? I couldn't even see myself like this in 2021, back in late 2019. HE IS A BLISS ON ME, AND A MASSIVE PART OF WHO I'M TODAY! P.s. even if I don't win the giveaway, I'm buying the book -- but who doesn't like a freebie hahahah Also, I never read before 2020, Jim's the guy who motivated me to read, and I read my first book, Atomic Habits. From a boy who felt no connection with reading, it has become a part of my life everyday from noon, after my school gets over.
PSYCHOLOGY OF MONEY by Morgan Housel Reason being: agree with it or not during this whole situation of lockdown & pandemic people have clearly understood how important it is to manage the money well, I've always hated finance simply because of data, formulas and spreadsheets but a book like this surely brakes that traditional outlook and give a fresh perspective how we look at personal finance & money management. I'll be graduating this summer & I believe that's the best book one can have before stepping into a corporate career!
Hey Shaurya, I really really wanna read ATOMIC HABITS as I know the change small(atomic) habits bring in your life is a quantum jump💪. As you also have encouraged me to read more books I am gonna become a good book reader now. Thanks buddy!!😊❤️
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Having read some classics here and there, I know that I don’t repel the prospect of reading an another one. I have heard great things about this book and would love to read it. :)
Ive wanted ' how to build a better vocabulary by Maxwell Nürnberg' ever since you recommended it ! as im in 12th rn and planning to give toefl too as soon as the lockdown ends. honestly i'd love to have the copy you already own, because you're foso going to become a big shot and i'd love to flex it one day ;)
I would like to go for the book - 'make time' because time management is extremely crucial in every student life :) And happy world book day in advance that is on 23rd April :) Thank you so much for the generous offer of giveaway of book because book is a gift which can be opened many times 😄
Savarkar: Echoes from a Forgotten past, 1883-1924 by Vikram Sampath, Being a hard-core history and pre-independence reader, really want to read this one. BTW Thanks for value adding videos :-)
"Local Woman Missing" by Mary Kubica. Well I'm new to reading and I started off with some self help books which was not going that well. So I thought of changing it and decided to go with this crime thriller (my favourite genre in movies). I don't know if the giveaway is still going on but you got a new subscriber mate. Keep up the good work ;)
Woah! And then there's me stressing over the fact that I have been reading the same book for the last 20 days. Probably, got to stop stressing over it lol. Gotta say though, the energy in your videos motivates me more than anything. Lemme just say it - YOU are my favorite indian youtuber (ok there I said it haha) ok so "byeiiiiiiii" ;)
“The 100$ Startup”, by Chris Guillebeau. Loved your three part series on entrepreneurship, from a student’s perspective. The book paves a way for all those who really need motivation to find their passion, and is a really thought provoking book. It teaches one and all to do what they love. I would love to read it sometime soon ❤️ Ps. I really like reading about entrepreneurship too. I would really suggest you to read “Design Your Thinking” by Pavan Soni, its super intriguing. Thanks!
Hey Shaurya! I absolutely love reading books, because of all the good that I can imbibe from them. However, being an 11th grader, I don't really find enough time to read as much as I'd like to. Getting these tips from you is an absolute help to me, and I'm sure I'll be able to get on track with reading soon. Thank you so much for putting your efforts and time into this amazing video! I'm glad to have watched it, and I'm looking forward to more of such amazing content from your channel! Also, thank you so much for doing a giveaway! I'd like to give it a chance, even though the odds of me getting a book from you are very less. Death; An Inside Story by Sadhguru is a book that explores death, talking about which is a taboo in various societies around the world. I personally write and publish poetry and stories, and I've had a fascination with writing about death lately. I've written a couple of epitaphs and a eulogy, and I've gifted them to my friends on their birthdays (I know it's pretty weird, but can't help it, 'cause I'm a weirdo). I provided them with a sense of inexistence on the day they celebrate their existence in this world, which I think is a beautiful irony. I'd love to read this book by Sadhguru (I love listening to his spiritual talks) because death is a topic that I'd like to destigmatize. I'd be really glad if you give me this opportunity. Also, let me know if you'd like to read any of my writing. I'd be more than happy to share it with you! Thank you again! You're an amazing person! Keep on inspiring and motivating people! With love from, Kamya 😊
SAPIENS: A BRIEF HISTORY OF HUMANKIND I really want to read this book because it's non fiction and raises so many questions about human history, also has insights of biology, economics and personalities as well. Also many famous people have recommended it. Overall it is an amazing book.
Okay not gonna deny, I’m really flushed w the motivation to finally start reading, after watching this well-put video! Gonna update you on how that goes ahahah! Big ups to you! -fellow one book reader xD
I should really start reading. I'm literally an 18yo who hasn't read a single book till date. Not even Harry Potter! I'd love to read 'the art of racing in the rain' coz I heard that it's a really good book and my idol, Mr.Ratan Tata loves it. Maybe that's not the best reason to start reading a book but hey, I'm atleast starting :)
Great content man! You should make a video showing your favourite books and which ones you recommend the most. A book I'd like to have right now is "The subtle art of not giving a f*ck" . Although it's one of the most famous and has got many positive feedback, I haven't read it yet!
Bhaiya, Straight forward i want 1.Quantitative aptitude by arun sharma 2. Verbal ability by arun sharma Because I'm preparing for 'ipmat indore' exam & Keep it up bhaiya 🤍
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It's a beautiful, beautiful book (from the samples I have read and all the critical acclaim I know it has received) and I would love to get my hands on this book. I don't know what parameter you are using to judge the winner of the giveaway, but if it is the reason that is the determining factor, I can only say I am dying to get my hands on this book. P.s. Love all your videos Shaurya!
‘Benjamin Franklin: An American Life’ by Walter Isaacson One of the greatest and most effective historical figures of all times and someone who’s quite the role model for me. His innovative and inventive approach, his entrepreneurial spirit, his shrewd diplomacy and statesmanship, and his divergent and unconventional thinking at the time, all culminate into a keen interest in his life’s story (Also, the fact that he’s America’s founding father😂). Walter Isaacson is one of the best bibliographic writers. Definitely next on my list.
hi shaurya,i really love your videos and I'm glad of how far you've come! to be honest this is super relatable for me because once I read i really get into it and read for hours( if it interests me) and then i just stop suddenly. it's really hard for me to find books that really make me feel curious to read more. I just really wanna read 'The book Thief'. I read the book wonder and it was amazing..by far the best book i've read and this story goes about the same i suppose. I've just left reading for a long time and it would be amazing if i started again. Thanks a lot again for this video! hope to see more amazing content from you and good luck!
Can I just say that reading all of the books you'd love to read is inspiring me so much. I hope anyone who comes to this comment section finds all of these books and takes the time out to read them someday :) Love all of you

Listening to Kendrick Lamar while working out, man that hits home...
I’d strongly recommend launching a Spotify podcast, I could literally hear you all day (+what a pleasing accent), hehe 🥰
SO SWEET maybe some day!!!
Lol ever since I started using my phone I've noticed I barely read, I used to read so much but that habit went after getting a phone.
:( Just put it aside when you're reading?
"I am not your final girl" by Claire C. Holland.
So this book is a collection of poetry, I've been exploring more poetry from different eras. I wanna look into modern poetry too so I thought this would be a great start :))
What a different type of read, I LOVE IT
@@ShauryaSinha yayy :p
book title:- tools of titans
reason:- I am a 21 y/o business graduate and I'm about to step into the "real/corporate/entrepreneurship" world there are so many "/" because I am as confused as you might be my brother, which is why I need some solid outlooks, opinions and perspectives on life from a varied set of people from all walks of life and try not to f up my journey ahead.

That sounds so sick Siddhartha and thank you for the love :) I really appreciate it
@@ShauryaSinha does that mean I have won the giveaway?
The knife of never letting go by Patrick Ness
its themes are far reaching and everyone can connect to it in some way. It is a book about coming of age, adventure, friendship, suspense and is a roller-coaster of a ride! Suspense and thriller are like my daily dose of serotonin. I love to ponder of myself as Nancy drew even if it’s for hours while I am reading. Iwould really love to dive into this book.

'Midnight's Children 'by Salman Rushdie
Because it is the most illuminating work of post colonial literature. As a staunch admirer of English Literature, I would be extremely glad and excited to read this literary masterpiece.
Sounds great!!!
can you read my mind? this was much needed. I’ve been struggling to get back to my reading habit after 2-3 years of not reading.. this video was much needed!
I HOPE IT HELPED!!!
I'm really really fascinated listening to the title "atomic habits" by you all the time. I need it!
Massive relate on not being a fan of audio books or podcasts. But definitely struggling to get back on reading like I used to :')
I hope this video helps you get back to your schedule!!
"House of Earth and Blood" by Sarah J. Maas
Sarah J. Maas is my Favourite Author and this book is the first installment in her series "Crescent City", so I want this book ...
I absolutely agree, I recently learned that reading a new book every week isnt important, you're only going to absorb few highlights that resonate with you.
also, the end was too adorable lol :)
HAHAHAHHA thank you upasna, and yes! ! ! I AGREE
This time, I want to try something new.
.
.
Also, the introduction couldn’t get any more relatable!😫
Amazing video, Shaurya!!!💙💙
"House of cards by Sudha Murthy" -- My twin sis gave it to me in 7th grade( her fav book and the only Indian fiction book I ever read) I still can't digest the fact that I lost that book in our school library ..I would gift it back to her on our coming birthday in june..we've soooo many memories attached to that 7th-grade fiction book.
Awwww that's so wholesome, hope you win!!
That “I love myself” segment at the end was fab😂😉🤟🏻
:)) I TRY
The book that I would like to have if I win the giveaway-
1. The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon
2. Steve Jobs
, Book by Walter Isaacson
Any one of the above-mentioned books.
Hey Shaurya
It’s always so good to see your videos.
The book I have been wanting to read is The Motivation myth by Jeff Haden. I wanted to read this book for so long but never bought one for no reason 😬I heard it’s really a good book.
HI SUNEETHA Long long time no talk!!! Sounds like a super cool book :)
Homo Deus: A brief history of tomorrow
uhh I want this because I'm really interested in humanity as a whole, the progress we've made is exhilarating! plus, I admire Harari's work and theories. I am quite excited for the book honestly
INSANE choice, HOPE YOU WIN :)
ATOMIC HABITS by James Clear
this pandemic has absolutely ruined my motivation to do anything productive and my habits and I really want to read this book and try to inculcate some habits so that I can get back on track and learn some ways to do smart work
Absolutely phenomenal choice, GO FOR IT!!
The subtle art of not giving a f*ck by Mark Manson. Because I heard that it is the best book to get through for a beginner. Thankyou!!!
I REALLY WANT TO READ THIS AS WELL
@@ShauryaSinha I REALLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO READ IT
@@aayushmaadhikari658 but whyy??!!
@@aayushmaadhikari658 very insightful. Thankyou for the information
Wow what an interesting read, I'll definitely look into it for myself as well :)
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart I wanna read this book so bad. I heard it's so beautiful, heartbreaking and surprisingly has a suspense.
"The Silent Patient" By Alex Michaelides
And the reason is because I am looking forward to started reading Mystery or thriller type of books.
pls this is so relatable for me..THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!
ALWAYS ALWAYS WELCOME

“Seriously I’m kidding” by ELLEN DEGENERES. I’ve heard and searched about it that it’s a humourous book. Really excited to read it✌🏻:)
Best of best of luck!!!
the references I get from his videos>>>>
It’s Kind Of a Funny Story- Ned Vizzini
It’s a book about how a student’s mental health is affected by the dilemma of finding the right things in life. The author himself spent time in a psychiatric hospital. You would expect it to be a depressing story but it’s kind of a funny one and hence the name..
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while and now being a psychology student, I really want to read it!!!
ATOMIC HABITS
BY JAMES CLEAR
I want this book because recently only I have heard about this amazing book that it tells us to focus on the process rather than the results. And I am excited learn more:)))
I came across this channel a year ago during the College decision reaction season and I love how informative it is. Thanks to Shaurya!!
There's this book called "creative confidence " by Tom Kelley and David Kelley , that a teacher recommended. I want to go into the design field and have a little self doubt sometimes. He said it's something that changed his whole perspective and that I should read it. I've been wanting to, but haven't gotten to it as of yet.
i lost it at "you can snort the cover" what a MOOD 😹💀
Also Shaurya I love your videos! I definitely think they're some of the most unique I have seen in the realm of study/productivity channels... HOWEVER. The little flashy thing in your transition cards kinda gives me headaches (and might be certain triggers for some people) so I would appreciate if you look into that!
MANY LIVES, MANY MASTERS
-It's such an insightful book about how Dr. Weiss' patient started recalling her traumatic past life experiences when he hypnotized her and it just teaches you about how our past lives affect us and I'm really curious about it
-Two of the people whom I really admire a lot (my fav teacher n my friend) have also read this book and they found it really impactful! And if a book leaves an impact on you, then uk it's worth everything :)
-Plus it would be so cool to receive something from you Shaurya! 😁 It would honestly make the book much more exciting and special for me!! 😭💙
8:10 loved that particularly 🤣
Me noding my head when shaurya was speaking, I was like yeahh yesss!!! Also me, banging my head when the song played in between. I mean shaurya is a vibe. Btw love your channel.
Don't want any book, you are the book honestly 👍 keep up with the good work
HAHAHAHAHAH this is too too kind thank you :)
"How to win friends and influence people" -Dale Carnegie.
As I will be a freshman soon. This book will be too much helpful for college as well as for future as my communication skills are not much good.
Also "One up on the the wall street" to have good financial knowledge which will surely help me....
Do suggest me which one to read first......this the first video I watched and loved the way you delivered your content.
i can relate to the ali abdaal one JOKS XD

thanks a lot
This guy is becoming my idol day by day ...
Thank you so much for inspiring me to read books and to be productive..
Atomic Habits:
Since this COVID-19 stuff happened, I've been procrastinating on studying and have spent all of my time on watching videos on RUclips related to very interesting study related topics which were of course not related to "11th standard CBSE Syllabus" but were about the fields I'm passionate about.
As someone who's primary genre of focus has been sci-fi and young adult, Ishiguro's complex literature is something I would love to dive into :))
Also, Shaurya, I have a suggestion for someone you can interview for one of your next videos: King Siddarth.

*Name of the Book: "* Deep Work
*Author: "* Cal Newport
*Why I would want this book: "*
As far as I have seen Cal Newport, I have understood that deep work is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task.
Hey, I really like your videos. You are very composed and knowledgeable.
Your videos are very intellectual ❤️
SUCH A GOOD BOOK ARYAN I just read this
I would love to read "The Unfair Advantage" primarily because Ali Abdal recommended it and secondly because I'm nervous for my first year at Duke😬
Hope i get pickedddd
By the way, ABSOLUTELY LOVE your content. AND that aggression with YOUR BOOK. ouuuhhhh, KEEP IT UP MAN. XD
HAHAHAH I FEEL SO BAD I WAS AGGRESSIVE WITH MY BOOK, but yes solid solid choice!!!
"King of Scars" by Leigh Bardugo
I've read the Grishaverse Books and it would be great if I get this book as it's the continuation of the series.
The Gene: An Intimate History by Siddhartha Mukherjee:
Come to think of it we all are an ensemble of more than 30 thousand genes, each one contributing to our unique quirks. Passionate about biotech and genetics I would love to dive deeper into the foundation of our existence.
Happy reading xD! Love the video!

I really want to read this book because i want to change myself and let myself adopt a new way to think. And also maybe I don’t want to remain where am i now. I am looking for a constant growth period and I believe this book can help me do it.
that video by max helped me get out of my reading slump last year, and I think your video is gonna help me get out of my slump now ^_^
HAHAHAH hope this helps!
Deep work by Cal Newport
I'm always looking for new ways to be more productive. Numerous people have suggested this book. Hoping to read it!
The Alchemist, if you're curious, is the one book I actually read in 2020. It's a beautiful book through and through :) I hope you win!
P.s. even if I don't win the giveaway, I'm buying the book -- but who doesn't like a freebie hahahah
Also, I never read before 2020, Jim's the guy who motivated me to read, and I read my first book, Atomic Habits. From a boy who felt no connection with reading, it has become a part of my life everyday from noon, after my school gets over.
PSYCHOLOGY OF MONEY by Morgan Housel
Reason being: agree with it or not during this whole situation of lockdown & pandemic people have clearly understood how important it is to manage the money well, I've always hated finance simply because of data, formulas and spreadsheets but a book like this surely brakes that traditional outlook and give a fresh perspective how we look at personal finance & money management. I'll be graduating this summer & I believe that's the best book one can have before stepping into a corporate career!

“The 100$ Startup”, by Chris Guillebeau.
Loved your three part series on entrepreneurship, from a student’s perspective. The book paves a way for all those who really need motivation to find their passion, and is a really thought provoking book. It teaches one and all to do what they love. I would love to read it sometime soon ❤️
Ps.

Death; An Inside Story by Sadhguru
is a book that explores death, talking about which is a taboo in various societies around the world.
With love from,

SAPIENS: A BRIEF HISTORY OF HUMANKIND
I really want to read this book because it's non fiction and raises so many questions about human history, also has insights of biology, economics and personalities as well. Also many famous people have recommended it. Overall it is an amazing book.

‘Benjamin Franklin: An American Life’ by Walter Isaacson
One of the greatest and most effective historical figures of all times and someone who’s quite the role model for me.
That's such a nice review of the novel even I want to read it now... BEST OF LUCK!!!
hi shaurya,i really love your videos and I'm glad of how far you've come! to be honest this is super relatable for me because once I read i really get into it and read for hours( if it interests me) and then i just stop suddenly. it's really hard for me to find books that really make me feel curious to read more.
