No, all varieties of mangos do not ripen at the same time. There are early, middle and late season varieties. Some of our earliest varieties can fruit in April and May. Most mangos ripen in June and July. There are a handful of varieties that ripen in August. So, yes, you can absolutely stretch out the season by picking different varieties to grow.

Tommy is a very productive variety, and is good in many situations. The varieties that I grow often don't hold up well to handling, but have very unique flavors that my customers enjoy. If someone is buying 2 trees, I recommend that they buy two different varieties. Some years are better for some varieties and not for others, and the fruiting season for different varieties can be different. Of course you can graft other varieties onto your trees. Grafting is easy to learn and opens a world of opportunities for your trees.

Add nutrients to your mango tree...like micrrohizzae....its a nutrient for your tree to produce more fruit. Also fertilize your tree and it will be way more productive.

Probably Organicide would work. Alternatively, since it's a small tree, washing with a soapy sponge might work.
