IMO if you already have Mlynar, Surtr, Mountain you probably want to allocate the money to other resources, especially with hell of limited and super limited banner coming
I chose Mountain for my selector. Then I got Nearl Alter from the 10 pull that came with him. And then happened to get a top operator tag in recruitment and nabbed Weedy from that. All new to my account, all in the same night. I will never financially (in the form of in-game resources) recover from this.
Edit: I decided to go for Mlynar, simply because he's the operator I'm picking the most from my friends support list. I like Reed alter a bit more compared to Mlynar, however, I believe Mlynar can get me slightly further compared to Reed. He's just that good ig. Also, knowing that she gets a banner in the near future, I'm gonna try my luck there. That way, I'll have a chance to get her and have both of them. I'll try my luck and see how it goes. I can't decide between Mlynar and Reed Alter I know Reed will get a banner relatively soon with the "To Bloom from a Dim Flame" event rerun, which was her debut a year ago, but seeing what banners are ahead of us, especially after the 5th anniversary, I would ideally like to avoid rolling on any future banner, besides Shu and W-alter
I think it can depend a lot on your roster. If it's well-built with sufficient boss and elite killers, you might want Reedic. You could always borrow Mlynar when needed. But if it's not that good, Mlynar is probably the better choice
Personally, I use Mlynar much more than I use reed-alter. While having a medic that can DPS is good, often times I’m just bringing Saria+skalter and that’s enough.
I personally go for reed alter as if you need a caster then you got someone who possibly one of the best her skill 2 and skill 3 are crazy insane and she a top tier healer so long she attacks stuff she one of my fav character plus her English va is melina form Elden ring Mlynar is yes very powerful but you have to get him to his second promotion for him to be useful while reed is all around at first promotion, if you new then get reed if you older player still get reed as she a damage dealing monster with her skill 2 and 3 if used right
I kinda disagree about ifrit, she has limited place to show her worth, especially when you compare her to another caster you can get from ticket, like Eyja, GG, Lin, Ceobe, I even think if I don't have ifrit or reed alter, I probably pick Reed since she has more chance to show her worth, just IMO no offense

Ines will likely never truly be powercrept, as her invis reveal is just powerful utility. Same is true of Silverash, having an op in your toolbox to counter invis is really handy. Even Totter punches way above his weight because he ignores it.
I think im gonna get Lin, she´s one of the 8 6* I still don't have from the selector list, and it might the best for my buck because I really love the strats she is used in
For a new account that isn't pushing straight to elite 2: Mountain, Saria, Eyja, Suzuran, Nightingale, Gnosis, Hoshi. Mountain is a cheap and excellent blocker with great DPS. Saria healing/sustain and tanking makes her IMO a easy EX quality, Eyja at E1 can make do as an aoe and single target caster, Suzu S2 slows multiple targets and does decent arts damage, Nightingale s2 healing is amazing, Gnosis freeze as a stall trivializes a lot of content, and Hoshi defense trivializes everything until really late game. For accounts that are able to E2 fairly easily but don't have any 6* and want the biggest bang for the buck: Saria, Eyja, Surtur, Mylnar, Thorns, Goldenglow, Mudrock, Bagpipe, Silverash, Nightingale. Saria healing/sustain is key in clearing many levels, Eyjas s2 or s3 is key in most strats and still some of the best arts damage in the game, Surtur S3 nuff said but can also work as an arts guard, uncle deletes basically everything, Thorns is like a self healing permanent silverash shwing shwing mixed with blue poison's S1, goldenglow S3 and S2 are huge in most late content, mudrock sustain is insane and her S3 bonk is can be a boss killer, flagpipe (with mertl or elysium) solves your DP issues, silverash shwing shwing was the "I win button" for years and can still clap, and Nightingale trivializes most healing needs. Honorable mentions: Ines shreds and gives good DP. Exi or Archetto are awesome physical snipers. Ifirit if in her lane absolutely claps cheeks. Skadi helidrop saved my butt a lot of times. Blemishire is a less good Saria. Shining makes a tank nearly indestructible as long as she isn't burned down/stunned. Kalsit and mon3tr's true damage trivializes bosses. Siege is half decent as a tank and does good damage. Obviously up to you, but it's important to know why they're good beyond "cheap to deploy.
Not planning on buying this as I am (currently) F2P But if the game can hold me until this pack comes again and if Jessica alter is in there, I'd consider it probably
@@Konpekikaminari Fair, just that I find the Monthly card to be the most useful. While the (total) 6000 Orundum or 10 pulls in 1 month is nice and all, I would say that the daily +80 Sanity Potion is more useful for only $4.99.
It will be a tough choice between Reed alter and Coebe for me... I really want Reed alter, but on the other hand Reeds event and her banner should get a rerun in the next few months while Coebe will be locked behind Kernel headhunting. I luckily got Hoshi recently otherwise this decision would have been even worse for me.

Im getting Qiubai. I did over a hundred pulls when she came out. I got 4 6*s and none of them were Qiubai. I am not missing her again. (Also my roster is well rounded enough. I have most of the rest of them.Reed, GG, Ines, and Mylnar are the only ones I don't have.)
Qiubai's not a bad choice, because it's a pain to search for a support Qiubai in the first one, let alone one with the skill set up you want. GG would probably be the only one I'd recommend over her, given you might want GG S2 vs S3 sometimes, and it's easier to bring your own. The other question is: do you have Suzuran?
@@blackhammer5035 I know Qiubai isn't the most *optimal pick.* Im still getting her. Yes I have Suzu. Shes currently E2 lvl25. Using her in LT-8 trust farm with Saria and Virtuosa as I'm typing this.
If you have Snuzu, Qiubai goes really well with her. I'm a big fan of Qiubai because I feel the game's newer levels move away from self-sustaining laneholders as you need medics for utility (status effects, extra Def/Arts resistance, etc) as much as healing. And if you're deploying a healer anyway, may as well bring someone with more bang for the buck. And Qiubai does a LOT of damage if someone else is applying slow/bind. Snuzu applies a lot of slow. So does Dorothy, who is probably my second favorite unit to accompany Qiubai. I don't have Snuzu, and I'm tempted to use my selector on her just so she can support Qiubai. Though I'm probably blowing it on Ch'en of all people because I want all the main story ops...
Personal Pick from selector would be either Dorothy or Horn or Lin. Sadly, there are characters that may require heavy strategic use for best results(from my picks Dorothy is one). I do recommend standard banner predictions due to shop availability. Purchasing via yellow certificates for a wanted 6-star is always a great and easy investment.
Eh, Dorothy isn't so hard to play as she is stage dependant. You kinda need space to use her to her fullest extent but the actual gameplay is pretty straightforward, you basically deploy traps on cooldowm and watch them blow up stuff while slowing/binding the targets for fat timers.
Depends in your roaster. Blaze if you doesn't have enough Lane-holder, Bagpipe if you are a hardcore CC fan, Exusiai if you don't have enough range damage-dealers
I instantly picked up Surtr. Though I was heavily debating picking up Mylnar instead. The other picks beyond those two, I'd have picked up Mylnar > Mountain > Mudrock, in that order. Mylnar is a great Liberator, similar to SilverAsh, and fits in many strategies. Mountain I have on my alt-acc. He's rather cheap (8 DP or so) and can hold lanes like a champ. Mudmud, again, already have her on an alt. She is an insane tank, but really expansive. And her type limits her usability in a few cases, where you need to outheal a lot of damage... Some I feel are underappreciated include Horn, Irene and Goldenglow.
units that'd recommend if you dont have them surt : just kills pretty much any boss in the game ( it's rarely that she can't deal with a boss ) mynar: he's just better silver ash and he was used alot, he kills a lot of mobs and his ability recharges fast enoguh. he doesn't blovk enmies unless he uses his skill so do keep that in mind now those two out of the way thorns :L one of the best lane holders in the game and like the previuos unbits he's only good with onhe ability, he can attack both ground units and flying units. mountain: he's another great lane holder an he's pretty cheap in terms of DP points, only costing 11 DP. mudrock: she's one of the best defenders in the game being able to hold a lane with multiple enemies at the same time. her DPS is decent and unlike the other operators she has 2 skills that see use (S2 is the most common one but s3 is really good if you time it properly). she cant be healed but her shields and self healing is more than enough to keep her up. kal'sit : BROKEN ASS MEDIC ( she's an offensive healer, her heals suck compared , and most of the power budget comes from m3nsert killing everything ) bagpipe: she makes any vanguard (specailly myrtle) better her second passive keeps her up to date toi thgis day if you hjave dp problems she and any flag vanguard just turns into a DP printing machine, honestly if yopu dont have bagpipe she has more priority over surtr and mynar penance: another great unit like mudrock she uses shields more than mudrock to both deal damage an to keep herself up. like mudrock she can't be heald and unlike mudrock she doesn't have any self healing. shes not bad at all is just that you need to understand her as a vampire she only generates shields with her skill saria: the best healing defender at the moment, there's another unit that people say wioll powercreep saria but honestly shes just really good, unlike the rest of the units all 3 of her skils see play her s1 is alot in a and it keep up to 3 charges her s2 heals in a wide area but only once its pssive these two skills and her s3 is a even bigger area but this time is focused on debuffing ther enemy blaze : another great lane holder, the best i might add. she has the unique traiut to attack all units in front of her which makes her good to deal with mobs and her passive makes her dodge letal dmg once. nightingale : she increases operators res so shes good angainst heavy arts dmg eyjafjalla : to this day an exellent caster that see constant plays in all stages her s2 turns her into a pseudo AOE CASTER and her s3 deals a lot of dmg. consider her if yopu dont have a good caster ceobe : she deals dmg based on the enemies deffense. good single targer caster, the only problem is amiya is good as well so you might dont want another single target caster ifrit: she has a unique aoe range ( being one lane in front of her ) she's the best at annihilation stages due to the size of said stages, in regular stages she looses some effectiveness but you can work around that. the real downside is her DP cost at 33 reedalter : she deals dmg like a caster and heals off that interaction so if you face a lot of enemies at once shes a great caster/healer if you dont, shes practically useless be mindful about that susurran: a good supporter with great debuffs and crowd control skills and her passive buffs other supporters exusia : sniper meant to deal with mobs of enemies but in the right set up she can become a boss killer ( you need both buffers and debuffers toi make this happen ) the biggeest downside of her is that she looses a lot of dmg agaisnt high def ennemies so in the later stages in she becomes only an aerial units killer which it can for the rest of the operators either i havent used them as well or i dont recomend to begginers. that being said. this game relies more on your knowledge of the stages rather than theese operators are among the best in the game but if you want to pull another one becouse is your favorite or you like the gameplay fell free to do so, ive been playing for a long time and have a lot of characters so any questions you have just let me know
Ines is likely top of my list if I buy it. Replaces the Flagpipe duo and I have more than enough elsewhere now. Pozy was also a maybe, but she's buyable with gold certs in 8 or so months so I can wait
I might consider having Reed alter as i have most of the core operator if i am buying the selector ticket for the 2nd time. My first time using the 6-star selector was actually Mudrock, what a chad i am XD. Currently, my roster team lack of Mountain and Texas alter for AFK runs and high end clears, sad :(
need help. i have Exu, Pozy, Thorns, Bagpipe, Ceobe, Ifrit, Ling, Saria, Penance as my 6* operators. i also have (Saileach, Saga, Weedy, Phantom, Aak, Siege, Hooleyak, and Vigil) but these operators are the ones that i use the least or don't use at all. so with all that said, my question is who should i choose from the 6star ticket? my choices are Mlynar, Surtr, or Suzuran but i think i need some help to analyze my roster and help me choose the most useful operator that can help boost my roster immediately. thanks
Always Młynar, nothing can go wrong for him Surtr is nice, but her S3 only useful against boss, while Młynar S3 can be used over & over makes him really useful as a sweeper Suzuran is also nice, but what do you gonna do if you doesn't have the greatest Boss-Killer? Also you have Aak! Młynar's beat friend, so why not?
If you're a new player, Exusiai is an amazing Sniper. She falls off a bit in late stages, but she is a great carry through chapter 0 to 7 and more. She's really simple to use, and her talent makes her buff a random operator with attack and HP increase. She is excellent with air targets and if you bulid her right, she can be quite a boss killer. I got her as my first 6 star and I don't regret that. She's also fairly cheap on DP, so that's really useful on accounts with weak vanguards.
OK. the 6 star selector is offered in limited events, which corespond to half year and full year anniversary in CN. (so the ones that are NOT half year and full year in global) which yes is typically about every 6 months. the list is up to the last half year event that offered a six star selector (ON THE CN SCHEDULE) so if global does something wonky with release order, it doesn't afffect the order of the six star selector. 30 USD is it a good buy? if you were going to Spend money to get pulls to get a unit on this list, almost any amount of pulls would be more expensive than this selector. picture for the kernal and standard banner units was wrong, Rosa and Suzuran are on the kernal on global. kernal banner predictions we don't know whats coming. we Do not need to know, every 3 months we get to set a kernal banner operator in the shop. ergo whoever we want will be along within 3 months.
My only missing ops are Dorothy and Ebenholtz, and I've been wanting that sad goat for FAR too long to miss getting him guaranteed. Hes always so fun to borrow, plus his new module makes him even more fun to use!
My recommendation would be Best tier: (multi utility that can function perfectly by themselves & excellent if paired too . Good for all kind of content) 1. GG: best caster for every single game mode. sss? Is? TFN? DOS? RA? U name it. Global delete button is op, especially paired with buffer 2. Mlynar: do i need to explain this? Just pair him with aak+ suzuran+ skalter+ shamare & watch any boss being melted. 3. Reed: medic with one of the highest hps on skill while also being one of the best caster. Good if paired with arts damager due to res shred too (especially texalt+ surtr).No.2 pick for IS4 after degen 4. Kaltsit: medic that can bring a fast redeploy (FRD) tankier than gravel while dealing high true damage? That FRD can also be used as lane holder & stun bomb too? Yes sir!!! 5. Ines: bring so much utility than a flagpipe combo combined. Dp gen? Slow? Bind? Invisibility reveal? FRD? Debuff? Ines solves all of that Top tier (good unit that perform good enough themselves but can be excellent depending on who they pair with. Good for some modes) 1. Surtr: high arts damage + immortality. So many stages counter her mechanic tho 2. Ceobe: good caster to handle bosses. Pair her with someone who reduce shred & she deletes everything real fast 3. Horn: one of the best physical damager with block 3 capability. Sadly she cant function as both blocker & dps at the same time also have awkward range. With module, as long as someone block for her, she become a delete button 4. Eyja: best aoe caster for now with some res shred capability. Her single target damage kinda mid tho. Also keep in mind that upcoming logos powercreep her hard, logos s1 being better than eyja s2 & logos s3 have better everything except range compared to eyja s3 5. Penance: blocker with high dph. Pair her with skalter or upcoming 6* bard, she can be ur main defender 6. Pozy: high dph sniper with a FRD untargetable schwarz that can reduce defense too. 7. Suzuran: almost a necessary operator for advanced content due to mass slow & fragile. Her fragile can be replaced with upcoming r6s 6* tho 8. Lin: her niche as ranged tank is irreplacable, that see much use on is4 & mvp of ccb#2 but she need module to be good. Pair her with aak & see her spam buffed s3 (+atk & sp on hit talent) Mid: 1. Mountain: good laneholder, also a good combo with flagbearer to handle early rush. Not meta for current content tho 2. Bagpipe: on her own she is kinda mid for a pseudo guard but paired with flagbearer, she solves dp problem. Outside of that? Not much utility if compared to something like ines or mumu & flagpipe combo need 2 slots too 3.Gnosis: top operator for SSS but no one cares about that mode anyway. Better fragile than suzuran but conditional. 4. Ifrit: if there is an ifrit tile, deal high arts damage & res shredder. High dp cost & not much utility beside that 5. Saria: weaker than pure defender & can only heal on skill. Her s3 debuff arts only & high cooldown too, while her s1 hps kinda mid 6. Thorn: same as mountain, not meta as of current content. Can be used on general stage tho 7. Mudrock: a lesser version of penance which favor enemies with slow aspd Anyone not mentioned is below this tier :p
Mlynar is genuinely a trap option imo. Yes he is one of the best units in the game, this is undeniable. But there are some considerations. Firstly is that he needs E2 to be good, which may be relevant for really new players. But the bigger point I would make is that if you get to a stage which really needs him, you can just borrow him as a support. Mlynar and Surtr are both units that if you need them it is pretty obvious, and so you can just borrow. They are a lot less fun as units to use on a day to day basis playing normally. I am planning to buy him but that is because I have most other units I want and I would like him for using in IS. For newer players my advice goes like this: Don't buy operators that can appear in the gold cert shop, they'll show up in there eventually where you can nab them easily. This also extends to those which should be coming soon such as Gnosis, Lee, and most significantly Goldenglow. Fia, Horn, and Irene are far enough out that I think you can justify using the selector on them if you have a burning desire for them and dont want to wait several months. One of my top recommends for example is Kal'tsit and she is in the shop right now if you have the certs. Year 1 ops in the kernal banner also apply here as there are periodic events where you can put any operator in the kernal shop to buy with gold certs. One of these should be coming right after this event alongside CC Pyrolysis. Amongst these units my recommendations would be Eyja/Saria/Blaze -> Hoshiguma/Nightingale/Bagpipe/Ceobe/Ifrit -> Everyone else. Most of the good Kernal ops I've gotten via recruitment but I am aware that I have been quite lucky in that regard. My rate has been a top operator tag roughly once every month/month and a half while consistently using all the recruitment permits and tag refreshes possible. With this criteria in mind, and my arguments against Mlynar and Surtr, I would recommend new players pick up: Ines - Absolutely the top pick. One of the most flexible, fun, and powerful units in the game. If you dont have Yato or Texas getting access to a strong pseudo FRD is an absolute gamechanger. She is fantastic in every stage of the game and she will always have a niche, especially with that invis reveal. Horn - Obscene physical damage on a range that is really hard to come by. She can also invis reveal similar but not as good as Ines. Yes she can struggle on some maps depending on layout and speed but whenever she can find a good spot she will carry you hard. Reed - DON'T USE THE SELECTOR ON HER IF YOU HAVE THE ROLLS. There is a huge opportunity cost because she has a single rate up banner in June. However if you can't spare the rolls because f2p and you are saving for Degen she is a very strong pickup. One of the best units for IS4, she is fantastic role compression and her damage is nuts for someone who is supposed to be a healer. If your gold cert income is really low because f2p or no plans to roll anytime soon my recommendations would also include units such as Kal'tsit, Mountain/Mudrock, and Goldenglow/Eyjafyalla for the selector. Depends what roles you think you need. And of course, the most important piece of advise is to get characters you like. Ignore people talking about meta, if you love a character go and get them. My advice is only to try and keep in mind opportunity cost as the selector is a very powerful tool that you only get every 6 months.
@@helmifaiz4504 That's all fair. I wasn't really thinking about guides when I posted that tbh. Just that most normal and EX stages can be cleared with a barebones team plus usually mlynar or sometimes surtr if you understand the stage and mechanics. Hence my advice to just borrow them if a newer player is struggling. Ines does a lot for smoothing out mistakes and problems by being pseudo frd and giving dp and doing damage and offering cc. Mlynar does one thing really well while units like Ines and Reed offer role compression which is IMO better for someone with a small roster. Horn I think is unique enough in what she does to be worth recommending but you are probably right to value mlynar over her. I rate her quite highly so I think that might be my bias. Also doesn't hurt that my argument took Kal and Eyja out of the running because they are shoperators.
Well i recommend to go for Mlynar is 100% worth it and for a backup use Tequila to help Mlynar and that's it two guards witb almost the same skill clear stages by themselves 😅
i think its good value for someone who already somewhat spends money like daily pass. And ofcourse for people who just desperately want a specific operato. i myself recently returned to arknights after like quiting around 1 year in and will get Mudrock.
Still confused between gg for afk or kaltsit with the true dmg and long range healing :v i have so much caster like eben, eyja, pasengger, ifrit while medic eyjalter and reelter

As someone who startet right before the Kernel banner was introduced, I can say that getting Kernel units is pretty hard for new players. The Kernel banner is available, but doing pulls there does not give the valuable gold certs that are needed for so many things. Kernel banner can be good in certain cases, but to players that want to pull for modern units, the Kernel pool is basicly locked. They will not get any of the units outside of recruitment luck or buying them with gold certs. Therefore, don't ignore the Kernel units in the selector just because they can in theory show up in recruitment. It probably won't happen anytime soon.

I'm considering this, would like Goldenglow or Saria. I don't feel like i need Mlynar at all wich is not so common opinion. Mountain is rly cool but I don't think he's needed as well. ~3months player here. Since we have ex wife and mudrock is coming to the shop idk who to pick. I do have horn, saria, and build gummy and cuora. From medics i only have vandela, perfumer, hibiscus and silence (non alter). Im aware that kaltsit main focus isnt even medic, and mudrock being just tank, since she does plenty of dmg... so from "melee"units i often use are flametail and lappy. In the long, looong run, which one do you guys recommend to pick?
Hi, I need help deciding. my 6 star roster includes : ines, stainless, horn, exusiai, hoshiguma, bagpipe, shining, pallas, phantom, and siege. I personally dont use siege and phantom at all. I wanted reed alter, but her banner is rerunning soon. I will buy goldenglow as a shop operator. Who do I pick, I was thinking Mlynar , but is there anyone else who could provide more impact to my roster?

I plan to get Kal'tsit from the Gold Shop Cert since she is there right now and probably get Reed or Mlynar on my ticket, depends on how many rolls it takes to get Virtuosa, if I get her quickly then I can save for Reed banner instead, if I spend all my rolls on Virtuosa then probably get Reed because I want her and would rather save my rolls for W alter/Logos because I love Logos and want him in 6 months.
You'll be happy with Mountain for sure because he's simple and can be used almost anywhere. Stainless and Eben won't always work. Mountain will give you better mileage my friend. ❤

I was wondering if you could recomend some defenders(not horn cause she aint a priority for me), vangards, or healers (not kalsit she can be support) to use this pack on. I already have the nukers, surtr, mylnar, texas alt, Genosis, mountain etc. Im lucky and unlucky cause i wanted none of these operators because i became what i hated. Meta. I have yet to get a 6 star vangard but i have texas which is close enough. I have nightengail, lumen, saria and penance. I was wondering if you could also recommend a dualstriker as well. This will be my first purchase in this game. I am a proud free to play player that has beaten the story and side storys. But i cant get nothin and want to save my pulls (i have probably wasted over 100 draws on nothing example: Horedor) for future banners(degenbreacher and next sui one). I gonna force my mom to get it and then try to get a job at some point this month to waste my money on this game.

@@helmifaiz4504 The 6 stars i have along with the other ones are exusiai, executoralt, gladia, ceobe, archetto, schwarz, ifrit, fiammetta, pozemka, phantom, lessing, hellagaur, pallas, fartooth, goldenglow, passanger, magalan, silencealt, and weedy. I get lucky with good operators i didnt want which is alright. I considered hogishima but said no cause i have matterhorn(The GOAT against londium defense artillery). Is there any gaurds you can recomend because that area for me is weak. Asides from defenders and healers. I was also considering reedalt because she heals and deals arts damage. And although she has a banner comming up i dont trust my luck and will only do guranteed 5 star pulls. Thats what i plan to do with any special banners.

Yeah arknights shop is probably one of the most expensive comparing to other gacha's, especially considering you don't have a guaranteed chance to get a 6 star on the banners

IMO if you already have Mlynar, Surtr, Mountain you probably want to allocate the money to other resources, especially with hell of limited and super limited banner coming
I chose Mountain for my selector. Then I got Nearl Alter from the 10 pull that came with him. And then happened to get a top operator tag in recruitment and nabbed Weedy from that. All new to my account, all in the same night. I will never financially (in the form of in-game resources) recover from this.
Edit: I decided to go for Mlynar, simply because he's the operator I'm picking the most from my friends support list. I like Reed alter a bit more compared to Mlynar, however, I believe Mlynar can get me slightly further compared to Reed. He's just that good ig.
Also, knowing that she gets a banner in the near future, I'm gonna try my luck there. That way, I'll have a chance to get her and have both of them. I'll try my luck and see how it goes.

I know Reed will get a banner relatively soon with the "To Bloom from a Dim Flame" event rerun, which was her debut a year ago, but seeing what banners are ahead of us, especially after the 5th anniversary, I would ideally like to avoid rolling on any future banner, besides Shu and W-alter
I think it can depend a lot on your roster. If it's well-built with sufficient boss and elite killers, you might want Reedic. You could always borrow Mlynar when needed. But if it's not that good, Mlynar is probably the better choice

Personally, I use Mlynar much more than I use reed-alter. While having a medic that can DPS is good, often times I’m just bringing Saria+skalter and that’s enough.
I personally go for reed alter as if you need a caster then you got someone who possibly one of the best her skill 2 and skill 3 are crazy insane and she a top tier healer so long she attacks stuff she one of my fav character plus her English va is melina form Elden ring
Mlynar is yes very powerful but you have to get him to his second promotion for him to be useful while reed is all around at first promotion, if you new then get reed if you older player still get reed as she a damage dealing monster with her skill 2 and 3 if used right
Mlynar, Mudrock, Kaltsit and Ines would be priority picks, outside the current recruitment pool (Notably Ifrit, Eyja, Saria and Nightingale
I kinda disagree about ifrit, she has limited place to show her worth, especially when you compare her to another caster you can get from ticket, like Eyja, GG, Lin, Ceobe, I even think if I don't have ifrit or reed alter, I probably pick Reed since she has more chance to show her worth, just IMO no offense
I'd probably buy Ines if I felt the money was worth it.

Ines will likely never truly be powercrept, as her invis reveal is just powerful utility. Same is true of Silverash, having an op in your toolbox to counter invis is really handy. Even Totter punches way above his weight because he ignores it.
I think im gonna get Lin, she´s one of the 8 6* I still don't have from the selector list, and it might the best for my buck because I really love the strats she is used in

For a new account that isn't pushing straight to elite 2: Mountain, Saria, Eyja, Suzuran, Nightingale, Gnosis, Hoshi. Mountain is a cheap and excellent blocker with great DPS. Saria healing/sustain and tanking makes her IMO a easy EX quality, Eyja at E1 can make do as an aoe and single target caster, Suzu S2 slows multiple targets and does decent arts damage, Nightingale s2 healing is amazing, Gnosis freeze as a stall trivializes a lot of content, and Hoshi defense trivializes everything until really late game.
For accounts that are able to E2 fairly easily but don't have any 6* and want the biggest bang for the buck: Saria, Eyja, Surtur, Mylnar, Thorns, Goldenglow, Mudrock, Bagpipe, Silverash, Nightingale. Saria healing/sustain is key in clearing many levels, Eyjas s2 or s3 is key in most strats and still some of the best arts damage in the game, Surtur S3 nuff said but can also work as an arts guard, uncle deletes basically everything, Thorns is like a self healing permanent silverash shwing shwing mixed with blue poison's S1, goldenglow S3 and S2 are huge in most late content, mudrock sustain is insane and her S3 bonk is can be a boss killer, flagpipe (with mertl or elysium) solves your DP issues, silverash shwing shwing was the "I win button" for years and can still clap, and Nightingale trivializes most healing needs.
Honorable mentions: Ines shreds and gives good DP. Exi or Archetto are awesome physical snipers. Ifirit if in her lane absolutely claps cheeks. Skadi helidrop saved my butt a lot of times. Blemishire is a less good Saria. Shining makes a tank nearly indestructible as long as she isn't burned down/stunned. Kalsit and mon3tr's true damage trivializes bosses. Siege is half decent as a tank and does good damage.
Obviously up to you, but it's important to know why they're good beyond "cheap to deploy.

Fair, just that I find the Monthly card to be the most useful. While the (total) 6000 Orundum or 10 pulls in 1 month is nice and all, I would say that the daily +80 Sanity Potion is more useful for only $4.99.

It will be a tough choice between Reed alter and Coebe for me... I really want Reed alter, but on the other hand Reeds event and her banner should get a rerun in the next few months while Coebe will be locked behind Kernel headhunting. I luckily got Hoshi recently otherwise this decision would have been even worse for me.

Qiubai's not a bad choice, because it's a pain to search for a support Qiubai in the first one, let alone one with the skill set up you want.
GG would probably be the only one I'd recommend over her, given you might want GG S2 vs S3 sometimes, and it's easier to bring your own.
The other question is: do you have Suzuran?

Yes I have Suzu. Shes currently E2 lvl25. Using her in LT-8 trust farm with Saria and Virtuosa as I'm typing this.
If you have Snuzu, Qiubai goes really well with her. I'm a big fan of Qiubai because I feel the game's newer levels move away from self-sustaining laneholders as you need medics for utility (status effects, extra Def/Arts resistance, etc) as much as healing. And if you're deploying a healer anyway, may as well bring someone with more bang for the buck. And Qiubai does a LOT of damage if someone else is applying slow/bind. Snuzu applies a lot of slow. So does Dorothy, who is probably my second favorite unit to accompany Qiubai.
I don't have Snuzu, and I'm tempted to use my selector on her just so she can support Qiubai. Though I'm probably blowing it on Ch'en of all people because I want all the main story ops...
Personal Pick from selector would be either Dorothy or Horn or Lin. Sadly, there are characters that may require heavy strategic use for best results(from my picks Dorothy is one).
I do recommend standard banner predictions due to shop availability. Purchasing via yellow certificates for a wanted 6-star is always a great and easy investment.
Eh, Dorothy isn't so hard to play as she is stage dependant. You kinda need space to use her to her fullest extent but the actual gameplay is pretty straightforward, you basically deploy traps on cooldowm and watch them blow up stuff while slowing/binding the targets for fat timers.

Depends in your roaster. Blaze if you doesn't have enough Lane-holder, Bagpipe if you are a hardcore CC fan, Exusiai if you don't have enough range damage-dealers

I instantly picked up Surtr.
Though I was heavily debating picking up Mylnar instead.
The other picks beyond those two, I'd have picked up Mylnar > Mountain > Mudrock, in that order.
Mylnar is a great Liberator, similar to SilverAsh, and fits in many strategies.
Mountain I have on my alt-acc. He's rather cheap (8 DP or so) and can hold lanes like a champ.
Mudmud, again, already have her on an alt. She is an insane tank, but really expansive. And her type limits her usability in a few cases, where you need to outheal a lot of damage...
Some I feel are underappreciated include Horn, Irene and Goldenglow.

surt : just kills pretty much any boss in the game ( it's rarely that she can't deal with a boss )
mynar: he's just better silver ash and he was used alot, he kills a lot of mobs and his ability recharges fast enoguh. he doesn't blovk enmies unless he uses his skill so do keep that in mind
now those two out of the way
thorns :L one of the best lane holders in the game and like the previuos unbits he's only good with onhe ability, he can attack both ground units and flying units.
mountain: he's another great lane holder an he's pretty cheap in terms of DP points, only costing 11 DP.
mudrock: she's one of the best defenders in the game being able to hold a lane with multiple enemies at the same time. her DPS is decent and unlike the other operators she has 2 skills that see use (S2 is the most common one but s3 is really good if you time it properly). she cant be healed but her shields and self healing is more than enough to keep her up.
kal'sit : BROKEN ASS MEDIC ( she's an offensive healer, her heals suck compared , and most of the power budget comes from m3nsert killing everything )
bagpipe: she makes any vanguard (specailly myrtle) better her second passive keeps her up to date toi thgis day if you hjave dp problems she and any flag vanguard just turns into a DP printing machine, honestly if yopu dont have bagpipe she has more priority over surtr and mynar
penance: another great unit like mudrock she uses shields more than mudrock to both deal damage an to keep herself up. like mudrock she can't be heald and unlike mudrock she doesn't have any self healing. shes not bad at all is just that you need to understand her as a vampire she only generates shields with her skill
saria: the best healing defender at the moment, there's another unit that people say wioll powercreep saria but honestly shes just really good, unlike the rest of the units all 3 of her skils see play her s1 is alot in a and it keep up to 3 charges her s2 heals in a wide area but only once its pssive these two skills and her s3 is a even bigger area but this time is focused on debuffing ther enemy
blaze : another great lane holder, the best i might add. she has the unique traiut to attack all units in front of her which makes her good to deal with mobs and her passive makes her dodge letal dmg once.
nightingale : she increases operators res so shes good angainst heavy arts dmg
eyjafjalla : to this day an exellent caster that see constant plays in all stages her s2 turns her into a pseudo AOE CASTER and her s3 deals a lot of dmg. consider her if yopu dont have a good caster
ceobe : she deals dmg based on the enemies deffense. good single targer caster, the only problem is amiya is good as well so you might dont want another single target caster
ifrit: she has a unique aoe range ( being one lane in front of her ) she's the best at annihilation stages due to the size of said stages, in regular stages she looses some effectiveness but you can work around that. the real downside is her DP cost at 33
reedalter : she deals dmg like a caster and heals off that interaction so if you face a lot of enemies at once shes a great caster/healer if you dont, shes practically useless be mindful about that
susurran: a good supporter with great debuffs and crowd control skills and her passive buffs other supporters
exusia : sniper meant to deal with mobs of enemies but in the right set up she can become a boss killer ( you need both buffers and debuffers toi make this happen ) the biggeest downside of her is that she looses a lot of dmg agaisnt high def ennemies so in the later stages in she becomes only an aerial units killer which it can
for the rest of the operators either i havent used them as well or i dont recomend to begginers. that being said. this game relies more on your knowledge of the stages rather than theese operators are among the best in the game but if you want to pull another one becouse is your favorite or you like the gameplay fell free to do so, ive been playing for a long time and have a lot of characters so any questions you have just let me know
Ines is likely top of my list if I buy it. Replaces the Flagpipe duo and I have more than enough elsewhere now. Pozy was also a maybe, but she's buyable with gold certs in 8 or so months so I can wait
Ines is also pretty good with Bagpipe

need help. i have Exu, Pozy, Thorns, Bagpipe, Ceobe, Ifrit, Ling, Saria, Penance as my 6* operators.
i also have (Saileach, Saga, Weedy, Phantom, Aak, Siege, Hooleyak, and Vigil) but these operators are the ones that i use the least or don't use at all.
so with all that said, my question is who should i choose from the 6star ticket? my choices are Mlynar, Surtr, or Suzuran but i think i need some help to analyze my roster and help me choose the most useful operator that can help boost my roster immediately. thanks
Always Młynar, nothing can go wrong for him
Surtr is nice, but her S3 only useful against boss, while Młynar S3 can be used over & over makes him really useful as a sweeper
Suzuran is also nice, but what do you gonna do if you doesn't have the greatest Boss-Killer? Also you have Aak! Młynar's beat friend, so why not?
If you're a new player, Exusiai is an amazing Sniper.
She falls off a bit in late stages, but she is a great carry through chapter 0 to 7 and more. She's really simple to use, and her talent makes her buff a random operator with attack and HP increase. She is excellent with air targets and if you bulid her right, she can be quite a boss killer. I got her as my first 6 star and I don't regret that. She's also fairly cheap on DP, so that's really useful on accounts with weak vanguards.
I got Irene from the selector, it was between her and Ceobe but I find Irene more fun to use.
I will use it to buy Mlynar. After using over 800 pulls spread over 5 banners, I just couldn't get him so I'm very frustrated.
OK. the 6 star selector is offered in limited events, which corespond to half year and full year anniversary in CN. (so the ones that are NOT half year and full year in global) which yes is typically about every 6 months.
the list is up to the last half year event that offered a six star selector (ON THE CN SCHEDULE) so if global does something wonky with release order, it doesn't afffect the order of the six star selector.
30 USD is it a good buy? if you were going to Spend money to get pulls to get a unit on this list, almost any amount of pulls would be more expensive than this selector.
picture for the kernal and standard banner units was wrong, Rosa and Suzuran are on the kernal on global.
kernal banner predictions we don't know whats coming. we Do not need to know, every 3 months we get to set a kernal banner operator in the shop.

My only missing ops are Dorothy and Ebenholtz, and I've been wanting that sad goat for FAR too long to miss getting him guaranteed. Hes always so fun to borrow, plus his new module makes him even more fun to use!
I think the only ones I’m missing are Ceobe, Rosa, and Fartooth where Ceobe is probably the better choice. Don't know if it's enough to buy though.
My recommendation would be
Best tier: (multi utility that can function perfectly by themselves & excellent if paired too . Good for all kind of content)
1. GG: best caster for every single game mode. sss? Is? TFN? DOS? RA? U name it. Global delete button is op, especially paired with buffer
2. Mlynar: do i need to explain this? Just pair him with aak+ suzuran+ skalter+ shamare & watch any boss being melted.
3. Reed: medic with one of the highest hps on skill while also being one of the best caster. Good if paired with arts damager due to res shred too (especially texalt+ surtr).No.2 pick for IS4 after degen
4. Kaltsit: medic that can bring a fast redeploy (FRD) tankier than gravel while dealing high true damage? That FRD can also be used as lane holder & stun bomb too? Yes sir!!!
5. Ines: bring so much utility than a flagpipe combo combined. Dp gen? Slow? Bind? Invisibility reveal? FRD? Debuff? Ines solves all of that
Top tier (good unit that perform good enough themselves but can be excellent depending on who they pair with. Good for some modes)
1. Surtr: high arts damage + immortality. So many stages counter her mechanic tho
2. Ceobe: good caster to handle bosses. Pair her with someone who reduce shred & she deletes everything real fast
3. Horn: one of the best physical damager with block 3 capability. Sadly she cant function as both blocker & dps at the same time also have awkward range. With module, as long as someone block for her, she become a delete button
4. Eyja: best aoe caster for now with some res shred capability. Her single target damage kinda mid tho. Also keep in mind that upcoming logos powercreep her hard, logos s1 being better than eyja s2 & logos s3 have better everything except range compared to eyja s3
5. Penance: blocker with high dph. Pair her with skalter or upcoming 6* bard, she can be ur main defender
6. Pozy: high dph sniper with a FRD untargetable schwarz that can reduce defense too.
7. Suzuran: almost a necessary operator for advanced content due to mass slow & fragile. Her fragile can be replaced with upcoming r6s 6* tho
8. Lin: her niche as ranged tank is irreplacable, that see much use on is4 & mvp of ccb#2 but she need module to be good. Pair her with aak & see her spam buffed s3 (+atk & sp on hit talent)
Mid:
1. Mountain: good laneholder, also a good combo with flagbearer to handle early rush. Not meta for current content tho
2. Bagpipe: on her own she is kinda mid for a pseudo guard but paired with flagbearer, she solves dp problem. Outside of that? Not much utility if compared to something like ines or mumu & flagpipe combo need 2 slots too
3.Gnosis: top operator for SSS but no one cares about that mode anyway. Better fragile than suzuran but conditional.
4. Ifrit: if there is an ifrit tile, deal high arts damage & res shredder. High dp cost & not much utility beside that
5. Saria: weaker than pure defender & can only heal on skill. Her s3 debuff arts only & high cooldown too, while her s1 hps kinda mid
6. Thorn: same as mountain, not meta as of current content. Can be used on general stage tho
7. Mudrock: a lesser version of penance which favor enemies with slow aspd
Anyone not mentioned is below this tier :p
Mlynar is genuinely a trap option imo. Yes he is one of the best units in the game, this is undeniable. But there are some considerations. Firstly is that he needs E2 to be good, which may be relevant for really new players. But the bigger point I would make is that if you get to a stage which really needs him, you can just borrow him as a support. Mlynar and Surtr are both units that if you need them it is pretty obvious, and so you can just borrow. They are a lot less fun as units to use on a day to day basis playing normally. I am planning to buy him but that is because I have most other units I want and I would like him for using in IS.
For newer players my advice goes like this:
Don't buy operators that can appear in the gold cert shop, they'll show up in there eventually where you can nab them easily. This also extends to those which should be coming soon such as Gnosis, Lee, and most significantly Goldenglow. Fia, Horn, and Irene are far enough out that I think you can justify using the selector on them if you have a burning desire for them and dont want to wait several months. One of my top recommends for example is Kal'tsit and she is in the shop right now if you have the certs.
Year 1 ops in the kernal banner also apply here as there are periodic events where you can put any operator in the kernal shop to buy with gold certs. One of these should be coming right after this event alongside CC Pyrolysis. Amongst these units my recommendations would be Eyja/Saria/Blaze -> Hoshiguma/Nightingale/Bagpipe/Ceobe/Ifrit -> Everyone else.
Most of the good Kernal ops I've gotten via recruitment but I am aware that I have been quite lucky in that regard. My rate has been a top operator tag roughly once every month/month and a half while consistently using all the recruitment permits and tag refreshes possible.
With this criteria in mind, and my arguments against Mlynar and Surtr, I would recommend new players pick up:
Ines - Absolutely the top pick. One of the most flexible, fun, and powerful units in the game. If you dont have Yato or Texas getting access to a strong pseudo FRD is an absolute gamechanger. She is fantastic in every stage of the game and she will always have a niche, especially with that invis reveal.
Horn - Obscene physical damage on a range that is really hard to come by. She can also invis reveal similar but not as good as Ines. Yes she can struggle on some maps depending on layout and speed but whenever she can find a good spot she will carry you hard.
Reed - DON'T USE THE SELECTOR ON HER IF YOU HAVE THE ROLLS. There is a huge opportunity cost because she has a single rate up banner in June. However if you can't spare the rolls because f2p and you are saving for Degen she is a very strong pickup. One of the best units for IS4, she is fantastic role compression and her damage is nuts for someone who is supposed to be a healer.
If your gold cert income is really low because f2p or no plans to roll anytime soon my recommendations would also include units such as Kal'tsit, Mountain/Mudrock, and Goldenglow/Eyjafyalla for the selector. Depends what roles you think you need.
And of course, the most important piece of advise is to get characters you like. Ignore people talking about meta, if you love a character go and get them. My advice is only to try and keep in mind opportunity cost as the selector is a very powerful tool that you only get every 6 months.
@@helmifaiz4504 That's all fair. I wasn't really thinking about guides when I posted that tbh. Just that most normal and EX stages can be cleared with a barebones team plus usually mlynar or sometimes surtr if you understand the stage and mechanics. Hence my advice to just borrow them if a newer player is struggling. Ines does a lot for smoothing out mistakes and problems by being pseudo frd and giving dp and doing damage and offering cc. Mlynar does one thing really well while units like Ines and Reed offer role compression which is IMO better for someone with a small roster. Horn I think is unique enough in what she does to be worth recommending but you are probably right to value mlynar over her. I rate her quite highly so I think that might be my bias. Also doesn't hurt that my argument took Kal and Eyja out of the running because they are shoperators.
I'll be saving my selector until Reed Alter's rerun. If I get her before I get Harmonie, I'll buy Ines. If I don't, I'll use it on Reed.
Well i recommend to go for Mlynar is 100% worth it and for a backup use Tequila to help Mlynar and that's it two guards witb almost the same skill clear stages by themselves 😅
i picked out ines because i really wanted to get the sheer utility of her sentry talent.
Man, i'd love to get myself a Quibai, Reed Alter or Lin, but I don't like spending money on games :(
For me it's between penance/blemishine and Irene
i think its good value for someone who already somewhat spends money like daily pass. And ofcourse for people who just desperately want a specific operato. i myself recently returned to arknights after like quiting around 1 year in and will get Mudrock.
The Ines live 2d is already enough of a reason for me to get her
I’m getting it for Exia simply because she’s the last Penguin Logistics operator I need and that she’s my mommy.
She's my first 6* operator I got and I'm still using her frequently, she's just amazing with a little help from Warfarin
As a new player it's gonna be Saria for me after having borrowed her countless times.
I wouldn't reccomend that with shu coming soon and if ur new you probably need offense like mylnar
Still confused between gg for afk or kaltsit with the true dmg and long range healing :v i have so much caster like eben, eyja, pasengger, ifrit while medic eyjalter and reelter
Don't rely on Kal for healing but, yes Mon5tr is great especially if you pick the right module

imo you want to pick GG for her 3rd skill, because she's the only one who has arts dmg with global range. That is if you need it

As someone who startet right before the Kernel banner was introduced, I can say that getting Kernel units is pretty hard for new players. The Kernel banner is available, but doing pulls there does not give the valuable gold certs that are needed for so many things. Kernel banner can be good in certain cases, but to players that want to pull for modern units, the Kernel pool is basicly locked. They will not get any of the units outside of recruitment luck or buying them with gold certs.
Therefore, don't ignore the Kernel units in the selector just because they can in theory show up in recruitment. It probably won't happen anytime soon.
Yeah I agree, I think it's kind of similar to standard banners where I wouldn't recommend pulling on them either. Especially with the banners coming.
I am considering Gnosis. I wont have enough gold certs in time, and I am missing him, Pallas, and Quibai.
I'm thinking of bying it to just get Pallas and complete my collection (minus Ash, but we'll get to that)

~3months player here. Since we have ex wife and mudrock is coming to the shop idk who to pick. I do have horn, saria, and build gummy and cuora. From medics i only have vandela, perfumer, hibiscus and silence (non alter). Im aware that kaltsit main focus isnt even medic, and mudrock being just tank, since she does plenty of dmg... so from "melee"units i often use are flametail and lappy.
In the long, looong run, which one do you guys recommend to pick?

my 6 star roster includes : ines, stainless, horn, exusiai, hoshiguma, bagpipe, shining, pallas, phantom, and siege. I personally dont use siege and phantom at all.
I wanted reed alter, but her banner is rerunning soon. I will buy goldenglow as a shop operator. Who do I pick, I was thinking Mlynar , but is there anyone else who could provide more impact to my roster?

I plan to get Kal'tsit from the Gold Shop Cert since she is there right now and probably get Reed or Mlynar on my ticket, depends on how many rolls it takes to get Virtuosa, if I get her quickly then I can save for Reed banner instead, if I spend all my rolls on Virtuosa then probably get Reed because I want her and would rather save my rolls for W alter/Logos because I love Logos and want him in 6 months.

You'll be happy with Mountain for sure because he's simple and can be used almost anywhere. Stainless and Eben won't always work. Mountain will give you better mileage my friend. ❤

I have yet to get a 6 star vangard but i have texas which is close enough. I have nightengail, lumen, saria and penance. I was wondering if you could also recommend a dualstriker as well.
This will be my first purchase in this game. I am a proud free to play player that has beaten the story and side storys. But i cant get nothin and want to save my pulls (i have probably wasted over 100 draws on nothing example: Horedor) for future banners(degenbreacher and next sui one). I gonna force my mom to get it and then try to get a job at some point this month to waste my money on this game.

I get lucky with good operators i didnt want which is alright.
I considered hogishima but said no cause i have matterhorn(The GOAT against londium defense artillery).
Is there any gaurds you can recomend because that area for me is weak. Asides from defenders and healers.
I was also considering reedalt because she heals and deals arts damage. And although she has a banner comming up i dont trust my luck and will only do guranteed 5 star pulls. Thats what i plan to do with any special banners.
