New on Zatar Music is a five track release from NILU (DK), the Danish producer and DJ who has been creating quite a stir of late.
This Shake For Me EP features the original version of the title track, an extended version and three mixes from Amsterdam’s Mason - the Dutch DJ and producer who has worked with and remixed some of the biggest names in pop and electronic music.
Shake for Me is a slinky house / indie dance cut with a sultry and suggestive vocal, utilising NILU’s innate grasp of groove and arrangement.
The extended version is the one for the DJs, spun out over seven glorious minutes and taking its time to fully set the mood.
The Mason Remixes bring a new vibe - an urgent, gripping ride with rising instrumentation and firing drums. The extended version gives us the version that will no doubt be rinsed across festivals and clubs globally, while the instrumental strips away the vocals and gets back to basics.
