From a guy who has had many fusions of the spine thank you for taking me on that adventure the birds the river and even the dynamite story thank you and Okuma fan that reel and the fish and to Sunshine Coast Viking kayaks please give this nice man a new profish they go any where thanks again I loved it
Best value 1 hour 13 minutes I have had in a while. Adventure kayaking and fishing, ticks all the boxes and then the cod started! Well done Rubin your videos are my go to each week
Mate this is just pure and utter madness!! That topwater bite was insane!! Each and every hit just sounds like a gunshot. Just goes to show though that conditions are everything. And having the resolve to stick it out for the longhaul even when convention would say switch to subsurface. I've loved every minute of this one mate. And you are 100% correct in saying that is one incredible system
Mate I sat here and watched the whole thing! Sank 2 tins and enjoyed every bloody second! Thank you! I love fishing top water for bass in the middle of the day with that sun high up it really pushes the fish into the shade. What an arvo session! Angry fish wow! Thanks lubin!
Awesome fishing. How good are those days when you hope to maybe catch a couple and you get blown away with one of those memorable sessions that delivers so much more than you expected.
This was a truly epic video mate. The longer length and seeing the slower fishing earlier in the morning was actually good to see and makes you appreciate the action later on so much more.
That was really terrific to watch. Excellent fishing, great scenery but hard yakka in places. It looked a very ancient river. Its well over 200km long too. And as you alluded to, many of the cod have probably never seen any type of lure before. At times, a cod a cast. Great work. Cheers 😀
Running between two regional cities the whole lot sees a lot of fishing pressure. Most of the credit should go to the Tatong Angling Club for a massive stocking effort over many years.
Great video as always Lubin. 45 years ago I was in that area for 6 months and always amazed me how many big cod this old timer used to catch in small rivers
Hey mate that’s my green stump jumper you got there you can have it if you want and also that’s a great fishing hole I’ve got loads of cod out of there can’t believe you found it I was gonna go swimming to get it actually 😂
I assume that the Cod are the same as the Barramundi up north in that they get agro and come on the bite when the air pressure drops when it clouds over and a few storms are about,I had a Barra in a 4 foot tank in Cairns and every time there were storms around he would become hyper active.
Wondered if a Broken video was coming out.Mate and i went somewhere else when we saw your van parked up at the bridge. We flyfish that river wonder why you don't get the flyrod out occasionally?
Do you have any recommendations for trebles on your surface lures? Do you fish the hunchbacks out of the pack or do you upgrade your trebles and split rings? Great video as always mate!
Thanks mate! I really like the trebles on the new hunchback models and the rings are great as well. You really went a chem sharp treble for topwater fishing
Most definitely one of the better videos of its type. Really well put together fishing action and some gorgeous healthy fish as well 👍👍

I lost one an old mate lure at the back of the farm at 9.26 in the video and I hate swimming out in that part.
Great to see you finding some fish in not a very wide river system
Nice 👍
What an incredible session mate, the only way to top that would be a metery thrown in, not that it matters on a sesh that good
Absolutely, I know there’s big ones in there!
@@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 looks to good not to, can wait to see when you do👍
