The lack of a microSD card slot is a bit disappointing, but the price makes up for it.
Enable developer options and set all animation scales from 1x to 0.5x....this makes every android phone feel alot snappier, this one included

Between the X5 Pro and say the OnePlus 10T which you guys think have a better & brighter display (under direct sunlight), louder & crispier speakers (w/ a bit of bass), better selfie camera ( in HDR, sharpness, skin tones,) and a more robust Gallery/Photo Editor? I think it's really cool that you review Poco devices. Almost no other reviewers in the US cover Poco devices Also, the 12MP macro lens is quite possible the highest resolution macro camera I've ever seen.
It's not a 12mp macro lens it's unfortunately a 2mp lens soooo pretty much crap

i just updated my poco x5 pro 5g to miui 14.0.5 and now the finger print sensor is not working and the power button too! i cant power off my device now! evrytime im long press the power button google assist is activating. help 😤😭

Phones like this are awesome but interestingly difficult to recommend. Why? The most common "everyday" enthusiast will almost assuredly get something a little higher end, we just love the cutting edge by necessity to make sense as that type of person.
Who would it be good for? Your average iPhone user wanting to save a few bucks... but I can't tell you whether it "just works" like an Android flagship usually does. That's more or less the primary reason the masses buy what they buy, from what I can tell.
People don't necessarily enjoy solving problems in new ways and most Androids end up being different enough for this to be an issue for a lot of folks. For this reason, I think AOSP/stock android devices should make a comeback or, at least, be an option/choice for users on initial setup.
I think that the second speaker is weak. Is that right?
Mostly dual speakers have weaker volume on top side

Can some1 explain what exactly the 2gb extra ram would do ?
It transfers background processes to a phone's memory, when open apps fill up the RAM. Performance won't improve, as phone storage is far slower than RAM, but it creates a larger 'working space'. For a phone with 8 GB + of RAM, it's all but pointless. For 4 - 6 GB RAM, it's still of dubious benefit.

@@oskarburns8231 Sorry, I misread your initial question. An 8/256 will be smoother than a 6/128, if you keep a lot of large apps open. Generally, the difference between 8 GB and 6 GB isn’t huge. The X5 Pro includes a software RAM expansion feature, which is what my first comment was about, that uses your phone’s storage to increase the phone’s RAM (working space), but it’s not as fast as hardware RAM. If you play large games, the 8/256 would be preferable, if not the 6/128 will be fine.

i received the Poco X5 Pro 5G. It came with a broken charger and broken adapter. And the tempered glass screen protector is also broken.
And the seller refused to provide refund.
