    If you put 0:00 at the start of your description timestamps it will create chapters for your video.
    You might already know that, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

    I have been stuck playing bass at 5 churches for decades. I like bass and I like serving but I miss guitar. FINALLY, I was asked to play electric rhythm and I have a week to learn this song for the audition. I needed you guys, thank you! But what effects were you using? To my ear it sounds like a delay with regen and reverb. I have yet to create what you are doing. Thank you!

    Great tutorial, guys! Thank you! I am an aspiring guitar player (in fact, a beginner electric guitar player - I presently play drums at my church) and it would help greatly if you could do closeups of the fretboard when explaining. God bless!

      Thanks for the suggestion Tal! We do our best to edit these videos in a way that will be helpful to the most people, but we’re obviously not perfect at it. It is super helpful to hear from someone who is trying to learn from our videos. So thanks! We’ll try to take that into account as we edit in the future.
      Good luck learning guitar!
      Practice, practice, practice

      @@WorshipToneLab Thank you so much, guys! I have a long way to go! LOL But that is ok. I am still waiting to get my guitar! It is still 2 weeks out. I just pray that I will play up to the guitar I am getting. If you know what I mean.

    Cool guys! Yeah I played this in this last weekends sets actually! My EG2 was out sick, so what I did was take multiTrack and played all my EG1 parts plus: intro from EG2 and I did the bridge: 1st bit EG1 second half EG2 when it goes full band. Worked out great for us, and was a pretty easy fix. I changed the bridge inversions on the EG2 so I didnt have to capo, but other than that I loved it! Good job guys! (Oh yeah and we had a female lead so I had to work everything out in the key of E not B! Fun stuff!)

    Guys, fantastic tutorial! Can you provide details on the effects you’re using? Specifically the reverbs and delays and at what mix, feedback, predelay and tempo settings. Thanks again for the tutorial!

    Awesome tutorial! Question: is it just me or are the string attacks especially sharp in this video? How are you recording the guitars?
    Also pedals used?

    • @WorshipToneLab
      @WorshipToneLab  6 лет назад +1

      Thanks! You can probably hear some of the string noise in the video. We record the vocals with a boom mic and the guitars straight from whatever amp we're using into the camera. In the final video we leave the boom mic in, but ducked down a little bit, while we're playing in case we say something that you might want to hear. But that also carries some string noise with it.
      On this particular video we didn't use any pedals, we just went straight from the guitars into the Kemper. If we do use any, we'll usually list them in the description of the video. You can find the pedalboard walkthrough videos that we recently did here: ruclips.net/video/6JSVr9rtjRU/видео.html and here: ruclips.net/video/oNKHvvhBNt4/видео.html
      Hope that helps!

    Does EG2 do nothing in the Choruses?

    • @WorshipToneLab
      @WorshipToneLab  5 лет назад

      When we decided what parts to play, we just learned the parts based off of the multitracks.
      The EG2 part is really the “lead guitar hook line” and the EG1 plays more of a “rhythm part.”
      If you are trying to play this song live and want a more standard 2 guitar approach, we recommend combining EG 1 & EG 2 as “lead” and then playing “G shape” chords with your capo to correlate with whatever key you’re playing it in... this will be more of a standard Rhythm Part.
      Hope that helps!
