i just finished this boss fight, i was expecting a normal boss fight but this was waaaay more epic than it has the right to be. this boss was so fricking good.
I just wish it was longer so I can jam out to the music ! This is the reason why I extended the music myself.

The sound track had very little changes from the alpha which is a big surprise I think the only real change was a battle theme

Spoiler warning, I love the way they're doing the different paths elements for this game. Much more cinematic than how they handled it in Genshin, it was so hype
Honestly it makes sense, unlike in Genshin, Paths are philosophies (or at least, that’s how we understand them), and to follow a Path is to follow an ideology/philosophy, for someone to be able to wield not one, but TWO CONTRADICTING PATHS (Destruction and Preservation) it NEEDS to be epic or the whole concept ends up falling flat

Just very different styles of musics => genshin is more film music mixed with traditional music and occasional rock/electro influences, while Honkai is more modern vibes, with more vocals, more synthetised sounds (well that was a bit different in Belobog -> I felt strong influences from the Witcher III musics).
Then, you should see what Honkai Impact's music can do.

Im a longtime genshin player, honestly i started this out of boredom did not expect anything. I finished the tutorial, hm pretty nice setting let's see, i played the space station arc, ok pretty epic space dragon fight, at this point the story started to actually interest me and had me hooked, trailblazer music is so chill nice, then i started Jaron VI and i played all of it in one sitting this bossfight was so epic. I mean is the story cookie cutter, yes it is, is the story predictable, yes ofc, but fuck yes this hit something the song the buildup the whole setting of a last buckle of a dieing world.

I'll never forget when slowly all teammates were dying one by one overtime while only fire mc was left alive to deal the finishing blow in the last phase.
I was expecting a cool boss fight, but I got something way more. The reveal for Cocolia, the giant mech, it was all so well done! Felt like I was playing Nier: Automata or something, it was really really neat! Also the music in this game so far has just been nothing but perfection.

When this song started after Cocolia charged the Stellaris and stared shouting really got my blood pumping. I didn't expect this type of a song to start in the background. I always look forward to do her Echo of War just to see that scene again. HSR really exceeded my expactations. The game is awesome.

This had me going an extra mile. MC's evolution, the fight, and then when I thought it was it, the fucking vocals trigger upon Coccolia's AoE. This is only the 2nd big boss and holy shit.

Nope.... Liyue archon quest and sumeru quests had better things but yeah the song blasting in the proper fighting location made it way too good.If genshin had proper song sung in the fights like this instead of opera.... genshin would have become thunderous.

Thank god I always play at high volume, music at 100%, voice and sfx at 70%. The song was screaming in my ears as I fought, I never expected the level of epicness, too bad it's over now.
