Great video! My friends and I are going to Italy on March 11th. Rome is one of our stops. I've been to Rome several times and there is always something to see. I love it!!
Nice video! Thank you for sharing! I’m flying with my family (My wife, daughter 4, son 2 and myself) next month (May) to Rome, Florence and bound to WarsawPoland for a total of 15 (5 days/city)days!Any recommendations?!? Transportation? Did you guys bring a car seat? Stroller? Thanks 😊
Hey guys, LOVE your videos. I will be in Italy, Rome, Florence, Bologna, & Venice Dec 11 -25. I have seen your video on the green pass and others, but... curious... any tips on getting a COVID test on CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!! Does Italy accept home kits? Do things close down? I have Christmas mass tickets for that evening but am free all day. Any help would be great, I am a bit nervous about getting this test to go home. Also, while there, can I buy you dinner as a thank you for your great videos?
Thank you Lance 😃getting a rapid test on Christmas Eve during the day won’t be a problem any pharmacy will do it. If you need a PCR it might be a bit more challenging. Italy do not accept home kits. During the day on Christmas Eve everything is open but with reduced hours. 👍🏻message us from Bologna we don’t live too far from there 😀
@@TravelAddictsLife thanks for the information on the home kids. I was wondering if that would be an option. I will be in Bologna on Sunday, December 19th. I will send you an Instagram. message.
When you used taxis in Rome did you use the Freenow app to get them?We will staying away from city center because we are booking our hotel with points ( so free , Crowne Plaza Rome-St Peters( ) and plan on using taxis to get to the city center. Thanks for the videos 😊
We stayed many months in Rome and other places. The water from those old taps is heavy with minerals and will cause stomach problems requiring Entinal or one of the many probiotics. Most tourists opt for bottled water fir this reason. You should do a video of Rome in the age of Covid. What's required. Where to get green passes. The apps available.
@@TravelAddictsLife I have one whole day, and few hours before flight next day. What u recommend besides colloseum/forum/vatican/pantheon and Di Trevi?
The Spanish steps are something you should visit, also the Jewish ghetto is a wonderful place to visit for lunch or dinner! You can watch our 3 videos about Rome 😃
Hi guys. Traveling to Italy on November 6, 2021. Leaving from New York. I am fully vaccinated with my CDC card. Specifically, what else do I really need, besides the Locator form. What is the Green Pass? Do I really need it? The Green Pass thing got me confused.
hello i will be traveling to rome in july and catching a cruise con chi... wondering if you recommend hub on/off buses i haven't see anything about it i appreciate your response
Hi Vicky, thank you for your comment. We are usually big fans of the Hop On busses, however in Rome we won't recommend it. Most of the streets in Rome are too narrow for the busses so they won't take you right in front of the monuments but they drop you off nearby instead. Also Rome is a very walk able city, especially the old city.
@@TravelAddictsLife ty so much in terms of saving money in transaction we are 5 🤦🏻♀️ we are staying at uno hotel trastevere what do you think we are very confused on transportation italo etc 🤦🏻♀️

@@TravelAddictsLife Are you familiar with Taverna Trilussa. I considering making a reservation there for our 20th Anniversary dinner. Is it worthy?
It is an excellent restaurant but a little expensive 👍🏻

Regarding tickets, I think the best for Vatican is to buy over the official site, and for Colosseum using Roma Pass, what do you think? :)
That is a great option as well. For the Vatican we did the aperitivo and we loved it!

Hello Carol, thank you for the comment. We have made a few videos about the green pass requirements, you can take a look in our channel.
I'm going to Roma in March for only two days. Is it possible to visit most of Roma Places in one day? I have hotel close to colosseum
It is totally possible if you walk fast and make a plan in advance 👍🏻

Yes we do 😃Zi Umberto in the Trastevere area, Roma Sparita in the same area or Nonna Betta in the Jewish Ghetto are all our favorite places
