Canadian Coast Guard Search for Missing Paddler in Burrard Inlet

CCGS/ RCAF Joint Search Operation in Burrard Inlet for a missing 66 year old male last seen canoeing off Third Beach. With an incoming tide and limited information on the direction of travel the AugustaWestland RCAF CH-149 Cormorant, CCGS Moytel, and CCG Zodiac Search RIB conducted an extensive zig zag search pattern across the inlet. Unfortunately the search has since been suspended and incident is now missing persons case.
