"Georgia on my mind" was written in 1930 by Stuart Gorrell and Hoagy Carmichael. And Hoagy Carmichael recorded the 1st version of this song in 1930. Ray Charles' version is a cover version.

This is one of those songs that we've all heard dozens of times, it's been well sung and many great and memorable performances. But the passion and power behind this arrangement makes it stand out from the rest. Excellent musicians and excellent arrangement to compliment Mario's unique range.

This song is very old and I heard it "1000" times, but this version tops all. What me impressed so much is the joy all of them have by performing this song. So it comes deep, very deep from heart....

No hay un cover actual mejor. La composición es impecable con esos cambios constantes y la progresión. La voz es muy emotiva y genialmente interpretada. Los músicos hacen un gran trabajo y en la grabación (o mezcla) hay mucha dinámica que le da mucha emoción y un aire muy de película. No sé si está todo grabado en directo, diría que no aunque no lo sé. Igualmente me ha encantado y ahora es mi segunda versión preferida después de la de Ray Charles. Sería genial poder ver y oír esto in situ. Enhorabuena por tan buen trabajo.
