Thanks for the review, means a lot to have someone who knows rhythm games review it! And very cool video editing, made our day to watch it, great job!!
Holy woah! Wasn't expecting you guys to actually watch this! Thanks so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it. Godspeed man, and all my wishes to you guys for a smooth development!
Yeah it's really not enough games like this The ones that actually challenge your sense of rhythm, not your ability to press buttons you see on the screen fast...
Gosh, I didn't even pay attention the to fact that there's not a combo meter or accuracy thing. Like, that's a REALLY nice insight into the point of the game. Love itttt
Glad you enjoyed the review! I do think so actually, imo it's more accessible compared to other rhythm games. It can be quite the challenge, especially the later levels, but it's much less about how good your motor skills are and more of learning how to pick up rhythmic patterns. I would recommend trying out the demo on itch.io, but that version is reaaally rough compared to what we have here, plus it doesn't have the input calibration system which can make things feel way harder. It still gives a general idea of what the game has to offer though!
@@Oxytonic Thank you so much for the suggestion and for replying to my comment. I decided to pick this up because of your review. You do great reviews man, keep it up. I subbed as a thanks :))
i'd say it's easier for non rhythm gamers tbh. The 7th beat mechanic was a mindfuck for me and it was very hard to get out of old habbits and ontop of that learn this game well A newer player just needs to get their rhythm down
Hold the phone. This guy ONLY has 94 subs? (95 including mine :3) That's seriously shocking to me, because the quality of your videos are wonderful! I'm excited to see you grow as a RUclipsr!
Got the game and I am loving it. I’m still stuck on the final boss (IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW) but even playing the custom levels is fun too, and still going for S+ on Wish I Could Care Less
@@MDG-mykys Not exactly. You need to hit the spacebar on the seventh beat. It's not exactly 7 seconds, because the speed of the beats changes, making them slower or faster. But basically you have to count to 7. I thought the video would have shown you that...
@@domgoncalvescezaretti5258 And the beat is the same for the whole song? If yes, how is that different from counting x seconds and pressing a button for the whole game? If no, how are you supposed to know when to press space if the speed constantly changes without being a music expert and knowing the song by memory? It sounds like a worse version of Rhythm Heaven. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What's rhythm in here? I can't trust my eyes. I definitely can't trust my ears. Is it about counting seconds? Or memorizing the whole song?
@@MDG-mykys patterns and audio really help, there are songs where it’s been easier to close my eyes to get S+ rank

Extremely good review and very nice editing! I also adore this game and I’m glad that more people are starting to discover it.

can we just see the fact that HE HAS 90 SUBS he deserves more
In need this game on the switch
I wonder how they’d handle stages like 2-X if they ever did want to make a console version.
Is this game catering enough to people who don't play rhythm games that much? Thank you for the review though! This really piqued my interest

How does this guy only have 50 subs like bro the editing is perfect and he actually does good reviews

The fact that he censors connectifia abortus everytime it's mentioned when showing the first boss stage
I am sorry why does he not at least a hundred subs this video is so good
you know your game is good when people started making video essays about your game
I love how the story is an absolute musical
act 5 just got released so i got addicted to rhythm doctor so im here

If you’re still stuck on that boss the time signature for that one part is 7/8, so count like 1-2, 1-2, 1-2-3 and hit on 3
bruh I thought this guy would had like 10k subs. Criminally underrated channel
boss stages kinda have grades. you can get complete or perfect.
bad title, I've been playing this all the time since 2017
Oh damn, I only found out about this game when it came out on Steam. I need some way to unearth all these games man.
What's the game at 0:36?
Was the censorship in the boss stage to avoid spoilers or because of RUclips algorithm concerns at the height of the pandemic?
It's to avoid spoilers.
Are you Singaporean by any chance?
I still don't get this game.
You count and press?
You need to press the spacebar on the 7th beat. So, you need to count to 7 and press the spacebar when it is on 7
@@domgoncalvescezaretti5258 so I just press specebar every 7 seconds?
