Rob, Gotta disagree with ya a bit. After taking your class in Knoxville TN with Tall, I gotta say this. Not a fan of your “ ambassadors” going first when we are paying and showing off while you are talking. I did see you tell them to chill, but disappointing. My opinion. This will keep me from coming back.
@@RJ3CVOST Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your honesty. Keep in mind, my Ambassadors are there to assist me and to help demonstrate exercises, not show off. But I totally understand your viewpoint.
I'm not starting an argument; I'm one of the ambassadors and was there. Nobody was "showing off", I, like you take every opportunity to practice as well. If the cones are set up, I will run them like everyone else out there and get some practice time when the opportunity presents itself. I have a higher level of training (police motor trained) so I practice at my skill level and will not ride/practice at a lower level or at all so that you don't feel a certain way. Plus, it demonstrates that if you put into practice the skills Robert is teaching, you too can get to that level or one higher than I'm at. Life is not a cookie-cutter, everyone is not at the same level. Robert's practice sessions are an opportunity to gain the skills and put them into action so you can raise your riding skill level, not a competition, or showcase. You missed that point. Also, if you noticed (I was on the red bike) throughout the session I didn't hesitate to provide advice or a little extra instruction to the participants when Rob was busy with another rider. I'm all about seeing folks succeed when it comes to this skill like the woman who was out there on the Indian that day, I was working with her and cheering her on. She had to leave early because she had a commitment to make, but she noticeably improved by the time she left if you watch the video again. That's my contribution as an ambassador and wanting to see people up their riding game. I love seeing riders like that.
Kenneth, I totally agree with you, @RJ3CVOST you might be making something a negative where it should definitely be a positive. Having ambassadors or even Preloaders that has followed Roberts teaching and believes in it could be a great tool to have at your fingertips while in a practice session. I have watched just about all of Mr. Simmons ambassadors from Ground Zero in his practice sessions. so if you get the opportunity to go back to earlier practice sessions and watch, you can see the advancements those guys made and maybe the next time you get the opportunity to have any one of them in a practice session with you, you will use them as a tool not as a distraction. on this channel, we all believe in (each one teach one) And I couldn’t agree more.
