Can a Pharmacy Assistant with 6 months of experience and still continuing in the job apply for Express Entry? Do they still have to mention Proof of Funds in that column?
Hello, I have a confusion. If I have a normal full time job in canada, without any LMIA, what should we select for the first question in section "Intended Work in Canada"? The question is - Does (Canditate Name) have a job offer in Canada? (Yes or No)
This is my understanding, and I am not an expert, but thinking logically, a "job offer" under Canadian immigration usually refers to one supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). A valid job offer often earns points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) under Express Entry. However, in your case, your current full-time job in Canada is not supported by an LMIA but is instead based on your legal status (e.g., a valid work permit). For the question: "Does [Candidate Name] have a job offer in Canada?" you should likely answer "No" if the job does not meet IRCC's definition of a job offer (i.e., it is not supported by an LMIA or exempt from one). Even though you have a full-time job, it doesn’t qualify as a "valid job offer" for points under Express Entry unless it fulfills IRCC's specific criteria. If you answer "Yes" incorrectly, IRCC may request proof of a valid job offer, such as an LMIA, which you won’t be able to provide. This could delay or negatively impact your PR application. That said, I strongly recommend speaking with a regulated immigration consultant (RCIC) or lawyer to confirm this interpretation based on your specific situation. It’s essential to ensure that your PR application is accurate and compliant with IRCC’s requirements.

Hi, I also need clarification about this part. Did you select yes or no on this question? Which answer did you end up doing? Thanks. :)
