Can a Pharmacy Assistant with 6 months of experience and still continuing in the job apply for Express Entry? Do they still have to mention Proof of Funds in that column?

Hello, I have a confusion. If I have a normal full time job in canada, without any LMIA, what should we select for the first question in section "Intended Work in Canada"?
The question is - Does (Canditate Name) have a job offer in Canada? (Yes or No)

Hi, I also need clarification about this part. Did you select yes or no on this question? Which answer did you end up doing? Thanks. :)

This is my understanding, and I am not an expert, but thinking logically, a "job offer" under Canadian immigration usually refers to one supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). A valid job offer often earns points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) under Express Entry. However, in your case, your current full-time job in Canada is not supported by an LMIA but is instead based on your legal status (e.g., a valid work permit).
For the question: "Does [Candidate Name] have a job offer in Canada?" you should likely answer "No" if the job does not meet IRCC's definition of a job offer (i.e., it is not supported by an LMIA or exempt from one). Even though you have a full-time job, it doesn’t qualify as a "valid job offer" for points under Express Entry unless it fulfills IRCC's specific criteria.
If you answer "Yes" incorrectly, IRCC may request proof of a valid job offer, such as an LMIA, which you won’t be able to provide. This could delay or negatively impact your PR application.
That said, I strongly recommend speaking with a regulated immigration consultant (RCIC) or lawyer to confirm this interpretation based on your specific situation. It’s essential to ensure that your PR application is accurate and compliant with IRCC’s requirements.
