Great build! If you want to lighten it up a bit you can get lightweight insulating fire brick. You could also switch the bottom bricks to splits which are half as thick. I've built several coal forges and a couple pizza ovens. This is a great way to reduce weight.

Cool hints in it! i will built mine accordingly just bit smaller but for indoors
Hey lad, not fully understanding the need for two bricks since you are using a stand for height.Could use only one brick for cost and weight savings. I also don't see any gaps for air to feed the fire. Overall it was a good build. The stand was great.
Naah I will spend $600 to buy the same thing from an unknown japanese seller.
