I just stumbled upon this. A beautiful video and WOW, what a beautiful song. The irony is that in many ways, Lucy saved Tim's life more during Season 1, albeit he still trained her. BUT...this song &:the literal seen of Tim finding her & as the 1st wave of shock wire off & ALL the trauma began to sink in & erupt at the same time, Tim kept wrapping his arms around her tighter and tighter, which any person in shock needs & how vulnerable she also would've felt is SO symbolic of their relationship. ( There are a few circle moments ). Someone made a video, can't remember the song used, but captures scenes of the ep this season when Tim suddenly injures his back in a chase which moved the fragment of the bullet, they had left at the time. LITERALLY their 1st day 2gethet & Lucy's period!!! Where suddenly, her TO is shot & scenes from that 1st EP. scenes from the shooting were interwoven thru out the present situation he had. Lucy had to do, ALL of the shooting & protect Tim & radio for help. Some feet for a new Rookie & her 1st & Tim had them arrive early, b/c they were supposed 2b backup 4 Bishop & Nolan, not realizing their suspects were in the back, & things went side ways real fast. Tim being shot & Lucy pulling him to safety, not just once but again a few mins later. 2x, shooting back & radioing in for backup & get relaying that an an officer was down. As awful as Ashley was breaking up with Tim as he was literally just coming out of EMERGENCY SPINAL SURGERY his hurt look said it all. Shock & disbelief showed in not just what he said but by his expression when he said, "Are you breaking up with me?! ...I just got out of surgery?!?!" Seeing Lucy sitting there alone with him, in the end, I think is what & whom he really needed,, and she wanted to be there, BUT knowing how worried she was, I think Lucy, ALSO needed to be together & they could just be. Cause when you really love someone, that's where you want to be. BUT...as awful as Ashley was, she inadvertently gave them a gift & this full circle moment of their 1st day, together, very dangerous & traumatic shooting & event that they experienced together!!!!! It was brilliant on the writers part.
