I'd kill to have been at this show! This song is my all-time fave by Rise Against. The line "will we cross paths somewhere else tonight" is one of those that takes me back to a very specific moment every single time I hear this song
i listen to hip-hop, metalcore and hardcore punk, but, without any doubt this is the best song i've ever heard :)
Rise Against is basically 90% reinvented hardcore punk ethics and ideologies and 10% 95' pop revival
But this is 2004, so you can imagine how times had changed

ive seen this video a 1000 times and i still get the goosebumps at 2:30...it made me cry a few times...he musta been so proud of himself
The band was definitely at their peek at this point, Chris with his amazing guitar work and back up vocals, Tims voice was in its prime, and the band was flowing with new great ideas and songs!
Chris went zach came and suddenly it became way less attractive to see,hear,feel and taste. it was a breakdown but we have to accept it and we have to cherish The Siren Song, The sufferer and of course RPM and The Unraveling, after The Sufferer it became shit :(
I feel like everybody hates on the later albums because the band felt like they needed to change. If we got the same type of album every year, Rise would have been labeled another Nickleback band. If you went and listened to the other albums without prejudice, you'd likely enjoy them a lot more.
Exactly I agree with Sean I’ve listened to each album without the prejudice and I love all of their shit fr I even found songs that are straight magic from the black market so fuck outta here with they haven’t made good music since sufferer try again listen to a song called methadone too soo good
@@seanoreilly2949 I'm not hating later albums, I just hate Wolves, where my favorite band gone full left. Like, the only one song (and it's amazing one btw) is not about elections and pissing on people's choice (a punk-rock band against people, huh).

The amount of melody Rise Against put into their songs are shocking. THIS IS AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE, Tim's voice was beautiful! The one thing I can't understand is how a band can cater to their more hardcore audience (like me), with songs like Dead Ringer, while pleasing those with mellow tastes with their softer songs like Paper wings! Please don't stop making music! One hell of a crowd too, 2:27!
I saw them at the Palladium in Hollywood on Halloween last year. They failed top play this song, black masks or blood, red, white and blue my 3 fav songs. Somehow it still kicked ass! Hollywood was like some naughty fantasy land on Halloween. I fing saw a trashy version of the 3 blind mice.

Endgame and appeal to reason were still great albums, but they lacked grit
